Are you one of those people who constantly returns or exchanges items?
Do you get home and think, 'Oh crap I really shouldn't have spent that money.' and then turn around and refund it the next day?
Or are you one of those people who is almost always satisfied with their new purchase and hardly ever takes things back?
In some cases, I know of people who are too afraid to take items back even if the item is faulty or they picked up the wrong size shirt etc.
Myself, I rarely if ever take anything back. I'm always pretty good at getting the right thing when I do go shopping.
I'm not afraid to take things back either if there is a problem, though I do feel like a bit of a nuisance. =/
Today Steve and I just took back our curtains we got for Christmas from my parents though.
They were fine but one of them was a little smaller for our lounge room windows then we thought.
When we got there all the curtains were half price due to the boxing day sales! We ended up getting back money even though we purchased larger sized curtains!
So we turned back home and brought back the other two curtains and did the same thing! We really did need the larger size but thought we could make do with the next size down due to the larger size being so expensive.
But we ended up saving money which was such a shock! The crazy thing is that the sale is only for today and we nearly weren't going to go down at all due to the craziness of boxing day.
So how about yourself? Any cool or terrible stories you'd like to share in regards to this topic?
Have you had any bad experiences with trying to get your money back even though you're in the right?
Share and discuss! =D
