I usually play a few games to ease my mind or read a book. I rarely read anymore but when i pick up a book and i get into it i don't put it down until i finish it. If for some reason i can't do either, i just take a short nap after eating some ice cream or whatever else i feel like eating.

That and if i feel like it i go on msn and rant to whoever is willing to listen :lew:

What do you usually do after having a busy day?

Well usually my hectic days are always work related.

I find that when I come after days like that, that I'll pour myself a Jack and Coke and I sort of feel a little more numb and relaxed.

Then I always have to go and watch some sort of comedy movie or T.V series amongst my DVD collection.

Comedy is the only option after those sorts of days. All I want is a good laugh and to forget about the day I had.

Once I've winded down I'll go on the computer and chill out for a bit and then maybe just watch the fish swim about in our fish tanks for a bit.

Alcohol + Comedy = Happy Kandy
after a bad/hectic day. XD

Anymore, at the end of the day, I just lay back and play around with my iPod. I either listen to music (Which, currently, is nothing but 30 Seconds to Mars), watch whatever I have on there, which is either Lord of the Rings, music videos, or currently, My So-Called Life, or I just play games. I may end up watching TV if I don't feel like dealing with the iPod, though. xD Mainly because the thing is practically glued to me. I just find music or a good show on TV very relaxing.

Winding down typically results in me taking a quick nap, watching a movie, lay on the bed/couch with my daughter and just chit chat, or hopping on the computer. I'll visit a few sites and sometimes open up Photoshop if I'm really in the mood, although if it's after a busy day, Photoshop is typically out of the question. Music will also be playing - that tends to relax me a lot. I also like to read, but I haven't read a book in almost a year. Doesn't help that the library's quite a drive away. And then of course there's games I like to play on the PS3 and XBox, which really does keep me entertained for quite a bit.

I go to the kitchen and pour myself a nice glass of tea. Go to my room, get on the interwebz, post a bit, play some games, and watch anime. When all that is said and done, I'll curl up in my bed and read a book. Sounds dull, but damn it, that's how I like it. :yay:

Well, I guess it all depends on what a hectic day is. If by hectic you mean stressed out, then I tend to play games. I suppose this tends to be a way to settle my head and possibly gather my thoughts because it's hard for me to sleep when bedtime rolls round if my head is moving in too many different directions. I tend to do this when I'm down as well.

In general, my method of winding down is music. Music has always been my relaxing aid, for as long as I can remember. Even if it's just one song, it'll be enough to lull me to sleep.

Sit down with a brew.

That's it really, there's nowt like being on your feet all day, coming in, flicking the kettle on then sitting down and just being like ahhhhhhhh yusssssssss feet up, not moving for the rest of the evening, good times

Well since I'm usually by myself when I get home.. I do a few things to unwind.

1) Log on to facebook and check if I have any pending messages
2) Grab a snack from the fridge.
3) Turn on some music
4) Turn on the xbox and play whatever game is hot.
5) Maybe take a shower, depending on where I came from.
6) Stroke my Pussy....Cats =)

I get really mad, and sometimes throw stuff.

Or just watch some very explicit content. Tits just have this magical way of making me not care about very many things :monster:

then there is just drowning my depression by playing video games or gutiar. Or sleeping.

The first thing I would do is fling myself onto my bed for about ten minutes. I would just lie on the bed, gaze at the ceiling and just get nearly everything out of my mind. I sometimes take a nap - only when I have time to nap though. My naps aren't long - perhaps half an hour and that's it.

Then I would go down and brew some coffee. I need it nearly every day. It's the beverage that keeps me going. With the coffee, I'll probably sit down with a book or turn on the PS3 and go for short bursts of UC2 (lately I've been doing that). After that, I may lie on my bed again and turn on my iPod, or have my my laptop in front of me.

Thats Heaven to me man. Thats just what I do, cept its cold can of pop instead of tea. Occassionally Ill have a cup of strawberry tea.

That does sound nice :) I usually just grab a quick snack when I get home from work, then flop down in bed with my netbook, post a little on here, listen to music, and work on writing my book until dinner. And then after dinner I do pretty much the same thing until I can't keep my eyes open anymore :D

I come home and loaf in my chair while playing my games. I do read alot but lately I havent been reading as much as I probably should...I use to draw alot to ease my mind but lack of space has put them in the backround..
Mainly I just sit play games while I get served coffee...

Loud music is the best thing for me. Depending on my mood depends on what I listen to, so there really isn't anything/anyone specific. I've also discovered lately, that a walk can help clear my head. There's something relaxing about walking with just my mp3 player for company.

For the more serious cases though, I just need to get drunk. It's the best way for me to unwind.

My hectic days are never paradise, something that i would want. Its special school and then go home, homework, msn, forums, and friends,i almost rarely go on vacation,im still unemployed -_-

:hmmm: Maybe like take a relaxing bath with the music blasting loud :ryan: tends to help me keep it on the down-low. Maybe watch something funny on TV or a funny movie. Laughing always makes me happy xD.
Going out to the spa is pretty relaxing as well xD.

Something on the lines of that :hmmm:

After a really hectic day (given I don't have any more assignments or tasks left to do), I usually just drink a tall, cold glass of water and go straight to sleep. If I'm finding it hard to feel sleepy, I'd watch anything that's on the TV until I get drift off.

When I'm stressed, I find that I can't be forced to do anything, even going online or picking up a book I was reading. Real stress does that to me:rage:

Il usually just sit and play the guitar although sometimes that leaves me more frustrated. Maybe yap to some folk online and play about in photoshop while drinking a tin of irn bru.
Just relaxation basically. Nothing that adventureous tbh.

I'll usually have a hot shower and change into some more comfortable clothes. After that I'll have something nice to eat. It may be bad to eat for comfort but I does help and I have to eat dinner anyway.

After that I'll just chill on the PS3 or the laptop and maybe makes plans to go out for cold pint.

I find myself doing that almost everyday since I've started University.

I just sit down and play Football Manager. Or at least that's what I've been doing the past 2 weeks. With my schedule, I usually get home at about 7:30 pm so I have a couple hours to wind down by just gaming. There's really nothing to watch other than Sports Center on ESPN so my options are rather limited. :mokken:
