...on your mobile phone? Or do you just think most of it is pointless bollocks?

I don't even know what half the shit on my phone is supposed to do, all I use on my phone really is texting, calling and as my alarm in the morning because Im thick and cant work out how to set my clock up

Oh I use the calculator every now and then and the calendar when I cant remember what day it is

I only ever take pictures/vids if I can't use my camera for what ever reason

I never ever use the internet or the games, it all just seems pointless

Oh, the one thing I do use it for is my music, though my headphones are really beginning to test me now, sony ericsson headphones are the shittest ever

As long as I could text/wake up/listen to music and call people I wouldnt miss out else

I don't get all these fancy phones now, what's the point? :rage:

Christ if I did I would have 200,000 Iphone Apps. Would I want that? Nahhhhh. My big thing is, if my contacts are in order and I can call someone and not butt dial them every day them I'm set.

I even have all my favorite restaurants in there for take out. I also have quite a bit of pictures on my phones, but trust me I don't use my phone to its full potential. Just too much you can do with an iphone these days.

I don't use half the features on my phone, I use the internet now and again to check the football scores on a saturday if we're playing at home to keep check of how everyone else is doing :wacky:

I rarely ever use the music on my phone even though I have loads of it, I only use the camera now and again if there's something I really want to take a picture or video of.
Tbh, I only use the text and phone feature. :wacky:

I don't, now that I think of it. I want to get a Blackberry next year when my contract runs out, but now I'm not so sure. I only really use my phone to text and call people. It has about 1000 songs on it, and I'd still rather use my ipod, and I only use the camera feature every now and then. xD

I might be the first person in this thread to use most of my phone's features.

I'm using a LG KS20, which operates on the ugly Windows Mobile OS. On one hand, the keyboards are overly minimalistic. I like minimalistic, but not to this extent! Then, the default features were ugly. I regretted buying the phone as soon as I got it.

Nevertheless, the problems were solved by downloading and installing applications online.

Now, those applications should roughly make up most of my phone's features- actually, replace the same features with a nicer looking one. So, being someone who use all those features, I suppose I can say I use most of the features - pretty much close to all, I suppose.

The only feature I do not use would be the Internet. Kills my battery like a Tonberry.

I barely use my phone even for phoning... I can never think of random reasons to ring people, and think that doing so will only irritate them anyway. Texting I do in reply to other texts and such or when organising something with someone...

As for the other stuff which this thread is on about... I only use games when I'm waiting to get my haircut... Coz I'm out, waiting for something without anything in my pocket other than my phone that I can possibly enjoy myself with.

I use the internet a few times when I'm away from home and want to have a sneaky look at what is going on here as a guest... But it takes ages for FFF to load up on my phone, and every page is cut up into about 5 pages on my phone. It becomes very tedious. Good job I don't do that often.

As for anything else... I barely use it. I don't even have a ringtone... Well I probably do but I haven't heard it yet as I have my phone on silent.

I should probably use my phone more often. I can imagine it is quite a crucial thing to have when you are acting like a real person. But at the moment it is often just in my coat ready for when I go to uni on tuesday... If I don't leave the house until then it is possibly I won't check my phone until then either...

I rarely check it when I'm in the house (something I should really change), nevermind have time to check all the random semi-pointless extra features that a phone comes with (which I don't want to get into the habbit of doing / they don't interest me much).

I use some of the features on my phone but there are still a lot of them that I've no clue about.

The features I use most are talking, texting and email. Although the email thing is really superfluous. I don't need to be notified via phone every time I get a new email. It's usually not that important. I really only use it because it's there.

I only use the web browser when I'm waiting for something and there's no other form of entertainment, like when I'm getting an oil change or car repairs. The same goes with games.

I do have a music feature on my phone which I only use to make custom ringers. I always carry my ipod with me and that holds loads more music than my phone.

I actually use the camera feature quite a bit. It seems that whenever I see something picture-worthy, I never have my real camera with me so I end up snapping a photo with my phone.

And I use the alarm clock since I'm too cheap to buy a real one. :monster:

My phone has loads of other features since it's a Blackberry but I cba to figure them out and forget downloading Blackberry apps.

I dont think I do. Just send texts and videos, use the calculator, alarm and calander. And personalise it with my chosen ringtones. So no, dont think I use them all. Oh and Bluetooth.

Oh crap I forgot about those features in my original post earlier.

I tend to use the camera on my phone when I am in a museum and run out of memory card space on my camera, or if I am reading a book in the library that is reference only, I can't take out, and I have to catch the train in 20 mins... It's too long / expensive to go to find the photocopier to scan and print the pages I need, so I sometimes take photos of the pages... However they aren't always clear, but I can often make most of it out.

The alarm clock I use if I am not at home, and need to wake up at a certain time and make sure I do when I am away.

As for music, my phone has that option, but I have never used it. I have not plugged earphones into my phone yet, and besides I'd rather just use my Ipod for that.

I have the LG Viewty which is a real battery killer so I don't like to use it over a long time span. I make a few calls with it especially at college to locate my friends. I use the 5MP camera and the video camera a lot when my friends and I want to mess around. I go on the odd game or two especially Bejeweled.

I don't use it as a music player very much- all I have are old songs. I don't have an unlimited internet bolt-on so I don't use it very often. It has HSDPA though, so it should be rather fast.

I used to get a new phone every year just because of the fancy features, which I hardly ever used anyway. <_<

Waste of money.

I've had my current phone (Nokia Navigator 6110) for two years now and the contract has run out but I'm over phones. I'll keep this one till it dies and I really need a new one.

The only things I ever use on them now is to call people (obviously) text, calculator, sometimes I used the calender if I need to check a date or something.

The only other big thing I use is the Navigator. It comes in handy because I don't have my own personal navigator that you stick up on your window or whatever, so I just pull out my phone, type in the address and I'm off.

Sometimes I'll put new music on my phone but that's just so I have the option to change my ringtones when I want to.

Since January I've been using a Nokia 5610 XpressMusic.

I'm often texting (but always in typed out words...it can be a hassle :gonk:), and when I get home I plug it in my laptop and use Nokia PC Suite, so I send/receive texts using my keyboard.

I love taking pictures, but I can't always bring my camera with me so I use the built-in cam. Also, since I lost my iPod last year, I've been using it for music (4GB memory card...still not enough though:gonk:) when I'm driving or walking.

I added in random apps as well. When I'm waiting in line or bored somewhere, I just get to playing mobile games. I have a Webster's dictionary in too and Bejeweled is my favorite mobile game. :wacky: The only thing I haven't used is the internet. I don't really bother with it.

Over-all, I'd say my phone and I have a close relationship:ryan:

I use my phone for basically everything, i don't have a Digital camera or an MP3 player so i use the camera on my phone and the MP3 on it aswell. mostly i use it for texting and making phone calls, but when im out up town i use the cam to snap shots on nights out, it's not the best picture quality but it gets the job done. and as for the mp3 player i use it whenever i walk up to meet friends or the missus.

but other than those two features i only use my phone for texting and phone calls

Nope, with every phone I've ever had, I've never once used all of the features on it. Hell, with every phone that you buy, you should be aware that in the next couple of months it's going to be out dated by some other phone that can also do just about everything.

It eventually got to the point where I canceled my phone service, and I quit buying them. Now I just use Skype on my computer, and on my PSP. I'll probably never own a phone again. I'm just that sick and tired of dealing with them.

Not at all.

I use my phone to text, to call people, to calculate things, and to take pictures when I don't have a camera to hand. I am also going to start using it to log future events in the calender, so I keep a track of my shifts at work and upcoming volunteer days.

For this reason, I have a relatively simple phone, a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. It has a touch screen and a slide-out keyboard (which was great at first, but I no longer use because, despite what I said, I DID get used to the touchscreen). It can connect to the internet, but I've never set it up. If I need to find something out THAT badly, I'll call a friend and get them to use a computer. :yay:

I have a Nokia N95 and I use most of the features on it.

I use the camera to take lots of photos, but I rarely use the camera to record a video. I go on the internet with my phone on an occasional basis, I listen to music on my phone like almost everyday (almost all my phone's storage is taken up by songs xD). I don't use the alarm that often. I use the calculator on the phone if I can't be bothered to get my graphics calculator. And of course, obviously I call + text message to people XP.

I don't use the calender because I lazy. I don't use the GPS and also I rarely play games on it.

Lmao, I don't have a fancy phone, so I guess if I were able to get one, then hell yeah I would use every feature. But currently, I have a lame-O Samsung Messenger. And yes, of the features it comes with, I use. It's your simple Camera phone with internet access, and a MP3 Player in it. However, that's not much compared to phones nowadays. :lew:

ive got mhyself an iphone and the only thing i do on it is text... i dont know why i bothered.. its an absolute pain in the arse trying to find out how to get the keypad up, and im always putting it on loudspeak by accident grr

I have an iphone, I only download the apps I want to use, even then I don't use a lot of the aps I downloaded to use. But I do use a fair bit of stuff on it like the texting, and the phoning and the camera and ipod and the alarms and the weather app and sometimes youtube and then all the games and sometimes when I am feeling fat I use the diet app and the sit up app and what's app and the pokedex app... :hmmm:

I have a galaxy s plus and i like use it to the end... it my best buddy when i'm out.. text, calls, facebook to talk to my gf, twitter, youtube, google+, forums on the web browser,l camera and loads of games.. my phone is my computer when i'm away from the house :)

only thing is i kill my internet limit.. but there a new network out where i can get unlimited data for £10 a month XD
