So, this is our first year we decided to run AOTW. We had 21 successful ones and I couldn't be more proud with the winners of each week's round. You all did an astounding job and for that, Artemis and I have agreed that we would also hold an Avatar of the Year just as we're holding a Signature of the Year! Gosh so many beautiful avatars.

My vote goes to AOTW 6 - Casanova.

It stands out with such wonderful colours used and makes me think of marshmellows. =D I love how the artwork and text is set around the moogle. It's very well set out.

Mine is AOTW 8 - Mitsuki I chose this one because i love the text and the picture blended in perfectly with the background. I especially liked how the word "Captain" was used with the text. Brilliant. Great work Mitsuki

AOTW 9's simplicity and warm colors make it the winner for me. I loved this avi whenever I first saw it, and it's still my favorite. There were a lot of other fantastic entries, but this one is the most beautiful imo.

I liked how the colours in Avatar 8 blended in nicely with Captain Jack Sparrow. The words were not that difficult to read either. Its literally perfection, if you ask me.

Entry number 3 and 21 are the best in my opinion.
Avatar 3 by Merculiar is excellent. I love the interesting placements of those bolts-of-light that outline the girl's chin. The colours are very good as well

Avatar 21 by Coco is perfection. She selected the best picture of happy Rinoa. Placed her in a little box with warm colours and typed in the text "Rinoa Heartily". It's like, Rinoa is teh peace, man

In my opinions you can guess that I choose Rinoa by Coco

Entry #21 is still my favorite out of the bunch. The colors and text is done perfectly and it's an avatar I would use too.

Sooo hard to choose, it was between 10 and 18 for me. In the end ive settled with number 10. Great picture, great colour and the overall look is really sharp and crisp. Awesome job.

Really tough choice between #8 and #2 (the Angelic Shinigami one). But I've decided to go with #8 I really like the lighting and bright colours, the 'Captain' text works very well too.

14 Taz is by far the best one of all of them. The avatar showed the theme really well.

Its a good work, simply looking and effect as well as eye catching.

I love AOTW 2 #2, 10, 17, and 21. All the colors used are amazing! But I went for 17 due to the fact that it's one of the few that's non-anime and I know how hard it can be making a real-life avatar. It looks so glossy too.

Number 5. I love how it's black and white. It's simple and elegant and the one I prefer by a long way.

Avatar 14 for me.
The Tazmanian Devil eating a pumpkin really stands out for me, and the colours look really good.
