Just wanted to know what sort of fragrance really appeals to you personally.

Are you more into impulse, lynx and that sort of thing, or do you like the really expensive fragrances?

I personally will use impulse during my every day at work and save my expensive fragrances for when I go out to dinner and such.

Also, people notice the difference and compliment you on it. >.<

My favourite impulse would have to be: True Love. It has the prettiest smell. :gonk:

Fragrance wise I am in love with Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. I really like sweet, lolly type fragrances. It's so much more fun. >.< And people always compliment me when I wear it.

By the way, her new one 'Circus Fantasy' is like a weaker version of just the plain Fantasy. >.< Midnight Fantasy is the only one I like of hers.

And just recently I have discovered: Dolce and Gabbana The One, Rose.

=0 It is the prettiest thing I have ever smelled! It's like $140 though, so I think I'll wait for an occasion in which someone can buy it for me. >.<

i.e: Steve... for Valentines Day. XD Instead of a flower rose he can get me this Rose fragrance. XD

It's good working in a pharmacy though. I've just been spraying the tester on me every day this last week. XD I smell good and it doesn't cost me anything. XD

But I can't do that all the time obviously.

Please make sure to elaborate on your posts and not just post e.g:

'I like Ralph Lauren.'

Any posts that are like this will be deleted without notice.

Tell us why you like a particular fragrance etc.

I don't really bother with fragrances during the day, though when I do, I'l just slap some of my perfume on

I've been through Hugo Boss (really nice but the smell wears off really fast, and when you just paid £40 for a bottle, thats the LAST thing you want) and Armani Code(really nice, and used it for a while) and now I'm settled on Dior, Miss Cherie is my special occasion one, though I am partial to Poison and J'adore - I tend to wear them ones more regularily, and during the day if the fancy takes me. I love the Miss Cherie one, but it's expensive so I limit it to special occassions... It just smells so ...delicious xD

I wasnt amused when I spilled my bottle of poison though, that stuff still isn't cheap either -__-

So yeah, I'm a Dior girl :mokken:

Oooh I loove go to the store and smelling different perfumes :jess: I deff like to smell good lmao. Beats stinking up the place :mokken: I don't like the cheapo perfume types but I deff wouldn't pay THAT much money for a little bottle that they have >.> I tend to switch purfumes (the type) depending on what I like. I have a few that I just spray a few times throughout the day. But when i'm going somewhere nice fancy etc I use the more... expensive type just so people know I pay good money to smell good >.> really cheap perfumes tend to smell tackyish IMO >.< A few types that I like are:
Butterflies Mariah Carey (reminds me of something :hmmm: and it sticks to me- the perfume smells good lmao)
Lady Stetson (she has interesting 'fumes)
Adidas pure lightness ( not too heavy not too light either-Just right)
Vanilla Fields ( always like vanillaish things)
Shania Starlight (has a nice zing to it)
Exlcamation (great brand- great smell)
Fantasy Britney Spears (Britney spears has nice perfume products great smell!=)
IU ( very nice perfume has a well balanced smell to it)
>.> I'm sure theres more... but that's it for now :monster:

I don't care too much about my body odour. As long as I have the good ol' antiperspirant, I'm good :monster:

I have received a couple of random perfumes from family and friends. Or more so, the cheaper stuff, whatever that's called. I have one called "fcuk" xD

Regular body spray does appeal to me too since it's not too overpowering. Rose and lavender smell awesome ^_^

I prefer lighter smelling fragrances that'll wear off during the day. My finger is way too trigger happy, and I know I could spray too much on me >_<

Well, I can't really buy fancy stuff, but I do enjoy the scent of honeysuckle and burnt brown sugar.

There were other scents, expensive stuff, that I loved but couldn't get. But I prefer lighter stuff, like honeysuckle ^^

(great thread by the way! :P )

I like the cologne my dad buys for me. I don't know any names, but they smell great. AXE is just epic win, though. Its all I need to go to school most of them time. The Victoria Secret my mom buys smell win, though :hmmm:

I agree with Last Tsurugi. Give me AXE and I'll go out happy. :)

Though lately, I've worn an Antonio Baderas cologne. I had it since my high school graduation last May. I still got half of it left, because three sprays is all i need when I go out. It's very strong.

I hardly touch deodorant, I don't run around during the day so a shower in the morning and/or night is fine for me. I do use aftershave though when I go to a party on a night out although I only currently have two:

Jean Paul Gaultier "Le Male" and Diesel Only The Brave, the first one has a nicer smell overall and lasts a fair while but it's not really that strong. The latter is really nice to but requires less with it being a stronger smell.

I have Calvin Klein Euphoria for a year now and I got to say it really smells good. I bought the set of it for like $60. The fragance that I really like the most are from Armani Exchange for men. I like Armani Code and Armani Emporio for men. They are really good perfumes and very expensive too. Those are my favorites fragrance out of all of the other great fragrance out there. I will buy one a Armani fragrance one day whenever I get a chance to.

I wear cologne pretty often to be honest. I put it on once in the mornin and its very dependent on who I see at night what I put on.

1) Ralph Lauren Blue - I've worn this for the past 8 years. It has served me quite well, and I can tell women like the dang scent to.

2) Gio Armani - For special nights with the lady. It's definitely a very good night cap cologne. So whenever we wanna grab a few drinks.. or what not with friends.. well you know.

3) Derek Jeter Driven - This is the every day type stuff that I wear around. It is slightly more muscy I throw it on over my deodorant usually. Pretty good stuff.

The extent of what I do is this. I take a shower, and use Irish Spring soap. I use Physique shampoo, which sort of smells like apples, but it works good, so I like it, despite the fruity smell. :jtc: Then when I get out of the shower, I use Speed Stick deodorant. That's pretty much it, and I've gotten compliments for smelling good for just that. No cologne or the like, just good ol' deodorant. :ryan:

White Diesel is my fragrance of choice at the moment.

It just smells so yummy and makes me feel all girly. Though I'm not overly fond of the Red Diesel stuff. <_<

I was bought some Armani Code over christmas by my brother. That's pretty nice too. Though, tbh, I think the bottle is prettier than the smell. :wacky:

I need to get some more of this perfume I got a while ago from Victoria's Secret... Dream Angels: desire. I love the colour of it. >_>

I don't wear a lot of perfume because the smell generally gives me a very bad headache or makes me nauseous.

The few that I can wear are Luxe, which I buy at Target. My favorite is the Lavender scent (I love lavender) and I also like the Pink Paradise.

Victoria's Secret has a scent called "Lovespell" which is also really nice but kind of expensive. Plus, I hate going to the mall so I rarely get over to Victoria's Secret.

Hmmmm I wear whatever I can get. even if it's feminine. I like to smell nice! :tehe: I guess I use axe more. and I use fragrance soap that smells all minty. If I forget to put somethin on then my fragrance is Essence of Sweat

Essence of Sweat is a good one. Honestly I'm allergic to most fragrances/perfumes, they make my eyes water and then my contacts float away, but I do like the Old Spice deodorant that my other half wears (can't remember the name though, I went to their website just now and became transfixed by an animation of deodorants and spray bottles floating up into a large nose). I wear Dove "Ultimate Beauty Care Original Clean" deodorant though, and that doesn't seem to bother me. I've heard Emeril Lagasse recommends rubbing on a little apple-smoked bacon first thing in the morning too, but being a vegetarian I haven't tried it.

On a daily basis I don't really bother with cologne. I occasionally use deodorant/antiperspirant which is pretty much scentless when I know I'm going to get sweaty.

The funny thing is, I have four bottles of colognes which I have collected over the years. I have never actually finished a bottle of cologne, so I still have the first bottle I ever got from back when I was 15 (5 years ago) and it's still three quarters of the way full. As a matter of fact none of my bottles are below the three quarter line :wacky:

The truth is that cologne can give me a headache if it's too strong so I only apply lightly. I only use it if I'm going out somewhere, but the thing is that I usually just forget to apply it before I leave hence why I've never finished a bottle.

Anyway as for what I have:

Joop Jump: The first bottle of cologne I ever got and one of my favourites. Even though its five years old I still use it coz it still smells good amirite. It has a nice sweet smell and it gives me a warm cozy feeling.

Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey Pour Homme: The second Bottle I got. A spicy smell which is really good when it is subtle, although it can be quite overpowering if applied too heavily.

Dunhill Vaporisateur Natural Spray: A kind of fresh 'just out of the shower' scent. (Third bottle I ever got)

Versace The Dreamer: Same freshness as the dunhill one but a bit sweeter. (The most recent one I got)

I have a shelf full of aftershave

My favourites though would be

Lacoste the original one. I have the blue one aswell but the original smells so much nicer. The blue one kinda has a sporty smell about it if that makes sense.

Joop - that stuff lasts forever. Literally one spray and it lasts a whole night.

D+G i dunno what its called but its the one in the black and white zebra striped bottle. Well nice :ryan:

I'll usually put on a little before I go to work or go out.

I tend to go seasonally - it's winter here so I've been wearing Cordovan by Banana Republic. It's a little more of a....mature (?) scent but it's very warm and a little spicy so I think it's a good fit for winter.

Last summer I was into Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue. Very fitting name - it really does smell like the color if that makes sense.

I also like Chanel Allure year round - very unique scent.

I usually just buy whatever deoderant is on offer. I'm currently using some Adidas stuff that I got for Christmas, and there's another can of that to be used after that too.

As for aftershave, I tend to use either Paul Smith or Ted Baker. I've got about four small bottles of Ted Baker and one of Paul Smith's, but I can't seem to find that one. ):
Alfred Dunhill also does pretty good aftershaves.

I'm not a huge fan of fancy perfumes, or people wearing them to show off their money to be honest. However, I do wear them for special occasions or when I feel the need to on a casual day.

A recent one is Dream Angels "Heavenly" from Victoria's Secret. I also know that I have a Chanel one, but I can't recall the exact name because I rarely use it. I can't really tell differences in perfumes, they honestly all smell very similar to me. Therefore I rarely buy new ones.
