I take my keys, knife, money, and my phone. Usually most of the time just a knife but that was back in the last neighborhood i lived in. I keep monopoly money in my wallet and i place the real money elsewhere on me. I won't say where though, but i'm sure a lot of you keep it in the same spot i do if you do hide your money as well.

EDIT, If my topic title wasn't clear enough what do you take with you when you go out? Whether it's for a walk, etc.

so you keep your money in your sock then. also it's illegal to carry a knife.

i have my phone, wallet, keys and mp3 player at all times.

In the last neighborhood i lived in i did, now i just take it with me out of habit. I keep forgetting to leave it at home.

Taking a knife with you when you walk? Thats a bit extreme. I live in a shitty part of the town but id never dream of carrying a knife with me. For one if i was caught with it i would get arrested and fined alot of money and 2 i wouldnt use it on anyone or anything. Now ive said that watch me get caught in a very vicious plant which requires the use a trusty knife to free me. But hey whatever makes you feel better.

I dont typically go for walks for the sake of it. If im walking then its because im going somewhere. Ie the shop. In which case i carry my bank card. Iphone and headphones are with me at all time as my lambert and butlers.

You smoke Lamberts? When did you join the homosexuals Lewis?

I live in the countryside so I go for walks fairly often, usually for somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half. I just bring the iPod with me or maybe the house keys if no one else was at home. Also a gun and six grenades in case a jungle cat or bear tries to sell me drugs

When I decide to go for my yearly walk I usually bring exactly what i would bring with me anywhere else.
Being a girl is handy because you can carry a bag around without looking like a homosexual.

In my bag I keep my phone, headphones, GPS (in case I get lost :sad3:), sunnies, purse, keys and :hmmm: I dunno I am sure there is more shit in there.

I would also never carry a knife because that is stupid. And I had a good laugh at the monopoly money thing. Thank you for that.

I guess ive been with the homosexuals since i was 15 :( Richmonds are basically cheap and nasty poopsticks. I can smoke them but they taste real bad. And regals are like a quid more than the ole lammies. An ounce of drum now and again but i can never be bothered rolling them.

At least you do not smoke menthols I suppose

They wouldn't be fooled by the monoply money and accidentally steal it instead. Most likely they'd just guess that you had your money somewhere else. Keeping a fiver and some coins in your wallet only would make more sense, then you just look like a broke cunt

Phone, wallet, ipod and keys.

That seems to be the standard basics for most people (minus perhaps the ipod).

I also take something to read, either a small book that fits in my pocket without popping out to reveal to people what I'm reading, or an article or some such which I'd printed out to read and take notes on.

My ipod I take with me for when I'm on a train or a bus and I'm too dizzy to read or want a break or something. It's the one time I seriously listen to music, I guess.

I don't listen to my ipod whilst I walk, or else I'd not hear the approaching car which will knock me over into the gang of hoodies who'll mug me.

When I walk I walk without the aid of song, so to avoid a horrible death. Also, I may need to hear people. Similarly, I don't walk around holding my phone like it's a Star Trek scanner. My phone is strictly for phoning and texting, and that does not happen very often / mainly important things.

EDIT -
This is for walking from place to place as one does to get places though. I don't tend to walk for fun these days, though I do like that sort of thing if in the right area.

Switchblades and the like are illegal in the U.S. Carrying a folding knife, provided it is folded and in your pocket, is perfectly legal. In some states, carrying a straight blade is legal if it is not concealed. I'd rather people carried knives than guns, tbph.

I don't walk/jog/etc. very often. But when I do I take my license out of my wallet and take that with me along with my keys and cell phone, and that's pretty much it. The only reason I'd take money with me is if I was walking to the store for some reason.

I generally just take my phone, asthma inhaler and my wallet (which has my key in it) with me when I step out of the house. If I have a bag with me I usually like to bring a bottle of water too. I used to take my Mp3 player with me but I don't like to anymore.

The thought of carrying a knife on me has never crossed my mind. I remember when I was 15 or so one of my friends was carrying one. Everyone payed the shit out of him and he never carried one again. :lew:

I live in a rural area so I go walking/cycling quite a lot. :wacky: When I go walking, I pretty much always take my mp3 player to listen to music, my phone and my car/house keys if no one else is about. Unless it's really summery outside, I will probably take a waterproof jacket too. :lew:

If I'm going out to town, I'll always take my bag with my phone, mp3, purse, keys, dairy, pens and my 'character notebook,' which I rarely use... I note down interesting characters when I meet/see them. :lew: I may also choose to take a snack. :hmmm:

Hmmm... Mp3, Phone and wallet. Thats basically all i take on my almost daily walks. I dont live in a dangerous suburb so no weapons of sort. I guess i cant relate to the need for it. Im a twitchy person so the slightest bit of suspicious activity makes me wary. Not paranoid, but i keep my eyes open. The Mp3 is the big thing. I choose music and let my imagination run wild.

I recently moved to a rural area in Somerset so yeaaaaah too far to walk any where. Anyway when I do walk I usually take my phone with me and listen to music with it; obviously I also need to have my house keys for when I come back home. I used to take my phone and my iPod nano when I had it, but I gave my iPod nano to one of my besties sooooo yeah.

I take my phone and my inhaler with me whenever we go out. I also sometimes take a Claritin if I haven't taken one yet, or feel like I'll need it eventually. That's pretty much it for me. Dad brings keys, phone, wallet with credit cards, etc. Mom brings a giant bag with pretty much nothing in it besides her phone. :wacky:

Spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch (well, iPhone) are with me always.

I always try and keep a bottle of water, lighter, sketch pad, pencil, blue and black biro pen and a black Sharpie marker on me as much as possible. If im travelling some distance then a book and my phone charger come along too. Up until lastweek I also carried my baccy tin containing various smoking things for roll ups and joints but as I have now quit I only carry a lighter.

Late but, why carry monopoly money>? just carry no money and pretend youre skint im sure that would be more effective :lew:

My bag is a disgrace, I have alsorts of random shit in it, i always end up throwing receipts and bits of paper in there as well, its just full of crap. Its like one of my kitchen drawers, theres screwdrivers, alan keys and batteries in there. The only thing i dont tend to have on my person at all time now is my ipod as i dont tend to need it now im not travelling about via the peasant waggons, though i wished i had it today as i was in manchester and i rememberd that i only had 2 songs on my phone as all the rest of it seemed to wipe off

oh and i always seem to have an empty purse and forget my bank card, i take all the wrong shit out with me

My handbag that consists of my wallet, phone, lip balm, tissues, a pen, panty liners/pads (would suck if an ermegency arose!), car keys, house keys, deoderant, paracetamol, nail file and that's about it I think.

Never needed any sort of music pods etc as I've always had a car and my car has an MP3 player.
