What cheered you up today?

One of my classmates from Uni just messaged me on Facebook to tell me that he LOVED my zombie apocalypse script. It might only be so little to some people, but that's put a smile on my face after recent events.
 
I finally figured out what I'm meant to do for my assignment and how I have to go about it. The fucking thing has been stressing me out, but now I reckon I should be able to finish it in a few days.
 
What cheered me up today was releasing all my stress from school and just layin' under the clouds and breathin' in the cool air(While also taking some time to play the new Dissidia game). I know it's corny but hey, it actually works for me.
 
I got my entertainment center set up in my room and organized all my consoles and games, etc. I also got a new power strip so everything is hooked up and ready. I totally finished turning my room into a Man Cave. Joy!
 
i was expecting a really shit day (theres time yet) but scaring the shit out of Tez, and the ceiling falling on andys head has made my day :lew:

im convinced th3ere's a hidden camera in here somewhere
 
Today's seen lovely weather and everyone at work has been so nice today, especially the customers! It's obviously due to the sunshine, but it makes such a fabulous change as opposed to the disgruntled ones.
 
Getting that A+ on my philosophy midterm. Bout to be a nerd this weekend and devote myself completely to that work I need to finish for English Comp. and Computer Lit. I'm motivated, bitches. :D Whoo!
 
Friends. I learned that I've got a lot more people who care about me then I thought, and who are willing to listen to me bellyache. It's nice to know that when I fall I'll have someone to help pick up the pieces and even be brutally honest with me.
 
Watering my garden cheered me up today, I sound like an old lady saying this but I love flowers, and I got some Gladiola's and California Poppy's so watching them grow will be nice, and my Willow tree is growing nicely, I think...so I am happy about that.
 
It is my day off and I'm being a lazy bum watching anime, posting on FFF and cruising EBay. A most cherished and cheerful day indeed.

Finding out I can officially book a holiday for the first time in over 10 years, woohoo!

That finally, a new school term for me is about to start.

Sure, it's a brand new start, with almost nobody I know going in with me and all, but at least it pushes me out of the monotony of sitting at home in front of the lap top and lurking around the site. I know not how it will turn out, but if I don't intend to waste that year, then I'm sure I won't.

What I say, I must do, and will. Hm.
 
I got flowers. :ryan: This guy I'd been chatting up from Washington sent me flowers (tracked down a local store, ordered online an everything) and had them delivered to my house after I'd texted to him about the shitty day I'd had (knee thing, etc). He may have potential. :yay:
 
Left the dentist's office cavity (and any other problems) free. I'm always amazed whenever I leave without any problems, last time I went I hadn't been there for years and yet everything was fine. Picked up some fancy flossing pick thingies too. :busta:

I treated myself to some stuff from Sephora for my birthday and I got my package in the mail today. I got peach lip gloss, a travel coconut body butter, a Too Faced travel palatte with eyeshadows, lip gloss and blush...and a whole bunch of perfume samples...so excited! I love getting things in the mail and I love being a girl :inlove:
 
Nick Clegg is being called on to resign, because the Lib Dems have been put through the ringer with the elections :yay:

I really hate him. He brought the Lib Dems out of the gutter and made them serious competition for the Conservative and Labour parties, then he goes and fucks it up by going back on his promises. Its good to see him getting what he deserves, and I hope the pressure is sufficient enough to make him resign.

...still no AV results yet, but I'm fairly optimistic that the majority of people refused the stupid system, given how disastrously the Lib Dems have performed thus far.

Oh, and I got a letter from Channysaurus this morning :yay:
