Anyone doing anything cool this summer? Or just...anything, really.

I'm planning on spending the summer getting to know the "neighborhood", i.e. Southern California. Just driving around, hiking the mountains, visiting non-touristy spots around the area. It should be pretty exciting, considering I also don't have any summer school whatsoever.

What about you guys?

Me?

I'm going be on a nice little vacation around Michigan for the year with a couple friends. Go see some Tigers Baseball, go up and fish at a friends cabin, bike ride. Nothing really special but I enjoy it all the same :)

I need a summer job. Badly. I intend to do a Master's degree next year, and the money I have saved right now probably (read: definetely) isn't enough, so I need something to bring in some extra income for me. Graduation is in July as well, which I'm being forced to attend, so there will be that as well.

Otherwise, I have nothing beyond the norm planned. I've got the RPs I'm involved in on here (currently three, although the number will climb to five if all goes as planned) to post in, a fanfic to write, dozens of new games to play, I'd very much like to finish off the current series of novels I'm reading and start a new series, I might have a Pokemon marathon, and I might meet up with a few people if they have anything planned. I dunno, my summers are never anything special, I just take one day at a time.

I'm pretty sure my parents had plans to go to the Isle of Wight for a week as well, although I doubt I'll go with them. Meaning a week to myself :yay:

Make sure to bring a camera. :ryan:

My summer's almost over. I only have around two weeks (including enrollment days) until I have class again. I spent most of it doing internship. I still haven't given up on going to the beach though. :rage: My friends cancelled on me due to work/relationship problems/etc. BASTARDS :sad3: I would give anything to be able to go to Laiya.

Summer was over for me 3 months ago.

So as of tomorrow it's Winter and all I shall be doing is working and saving up for holidays in August.

Might start to put together an agenda for next Summer seeing as I didn't visit the beach once last Summer and I live like 10 minutes away from the beach.

I'm just going to be working, as usual. Except I'm going to be saving money so my girlfriend and I can get a place together in September. That be about it. Work, work, work.

Summer just started for me. Graduation is a week from now . :ryan:

Anywho, this Summer, I'll be learning how to fire dance - with poi, the fans, the staff, and floggers. I've been wanting to do this since my Freshman year of high school, but my grandparents wanted me to wait until now when I'm more aware of safety and the hazards of doing so . :hmph: But I signed up for classes a few weeks ago and I am super excited. :yay: Although being a Graphic Designer is my main career pursuit, I think being a fire dancer would do well as a regular part time job ~

That and I have to finish the application process to my admission in Ai of Jacksonville. There was a bit of a misunderstanding about the tuition to the school, and now I actually have hopes of getting in. So far, things are looking good ahead . :ryan:

i'm planning on moving to manchester in about six weeks time, so i'll be getting used to a new area i guess. send out my cv and see if i can get a job in the film industry, so i'm not stuck at jd for another 5 years.

Wahay, will have to have a night out when youre back in my neck of the woods poo :neomon:

Ive got a holiday to turkey planned with the girls, other than that, just the usual

Ever been to Kentucky? :mokken:

If so then you know that there is nothing cool to ever do here :hmph: I would love to camp this year but I know that's not possible. I want to have fun more than anything else.

I would love to know how to play guitar so I'mma try my hand at that over the summer.

find a job to start le career

learn to play the uke...properly :jtc:

learn to play the keyboard properly :rage:

practice guitar :ryan:

and get pished and have a good time. a lot. hopefully :sad3:

My plan is to work this summer (My last summer off before I start working for a living :() and save for graduation in December. I've got an expensive tuition bill coming up next semester and I'm not looking forward to it...in addition to the costs of graduating itself. Also I'm going to spend some time doing some things I would never have the time to do during the year while I'm in school....like clean the basement, use the carpet cleaner on the carpet in the house, clean out the garage, and wax my car a couple of times.

For "fun" stuff... I'll probably go to the state fair with friends, spend some time with my family up north for my 10 day vacation I took off in July, do some gardening/yard work....and do some COD-ing of course :britt:

I'm going to get a job when my CV is redone so I might be working through summer.
I also need to prepare for my holdiay at christmas to go to Australia and see my dad again (He moved there years back).
But I have nothing to do so I have to do nothing 24/7 while sweating in the heat. :sad3:

My main objective during the summer is to come to a final decision as to whether or not I'm going Uni or just gonna just dive into my career and start trying to work with Channel 4. (though in these times, I'd settle for BBC, ITV, or whatever else) I think I'll hand CVs out then to help me come to that decision.

As for funfunfuntiemz. I try to go to a theme park at least once a summer with my mates, though that's counting on me funds. Clubs and pubs goes without saying, though that's hardly a seasonal thing, but I guess I'll be going more often than the rest of the year. Brighton seems likely, maybe twice, seeing as one of my mates wants us down there, and people from college want to go as a goodbye thing.

Oh, and I'm kinda planning on going up Manchester, though that's down to leftover funds. Or if I decide to catch Danny if he comes down here.

Like many other people, I'll be working on most days, particularly on the weekends when I have to show up, and I'll need the money saved up for a few reasons - my own university living costs, the car insurance and for my general use whenever I'm out. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to the heat especially as the place absorbs heat faster than Venus does. I'm also not too keen on the idea of working for most days during the summer, but oh well, what can you really do? I'm just pleased enough to have some money of my own coming in.

Funtiemz? Well, I can't say I've anything really big planned. I guess the most I will do is head down south towards London to see relatives, though I would love to go abroad this year and not have to work. I'll probably see a film or two with some friends, and we've a rough date sometime next month when we're heading to Alton Towers for a day. Since I live right by the coast, I can simply wander off to the promenade whenever I want to get away from the house and perhaps walk the neighbour's dog from time to time. Or I could just take the car and go somewhere like the Lake District if I know my way up there. At home and if I can bring myself to, I'll finish up on some of the unfinished games I have, do some artwork, some writing and get this small pile of books next to me read.

I'm going on a summer holiday with a good friend of mine in the middle of July! I booked it a few days ago and we're so excited that we've got our personal countdowns to the thing. Going for ten days all inclusive to Majorca, so looking forward to it.

On the flip side, said friend will be spending time with me while I look after my dad's house that'll last 18 days. Very much looking forward to the mischief that we'll be getting up to!

Apart from that though, I'll be doing the usual. Just more of it. Gaming, writing, working and relaxing.

Nothing at all actually. :neomon: Every other year I usually go to a family reunion or two but that's about it. If we do anything else it is usually either going to visit some family or going on a picnic with a group of friends. In either case both usually come up suddenly so who knows. But as far as what I have planned, I have no plans currently.

Going to go on MAJOR biking trips with my friends, and work at the local humane society. Also going to go swimming constantly, and prepare for the swim team next year.
