Just an idea I got for a thread the other day... Do you have any sleeping habits, like snoring in your sleep, sleep talking, or even sleep walking?

And do you generally lie on your back, a side, or perhaps even your stomach? :P

As for myself, I'm not sure about that during sleep stuff, my bedroom is always on the 2nd floor of wherever we've lived, I haven't been told for certain if I talk in my sleep, or if I have ever sleep walked...

I think I can recall being told a time or two that I snored, though. I don't know that I always do, however, but I made my Crimson Wolf character so he snores sometimes in his sleep, especially if he is in some weakened state, or just tired out from a stressful or physically challenging day (eventful). xD

Oddly enough, I have gotten recently to where I sometimes lay on my stomach, it doesn't really feel all that uncomfortable. :hmmm: To me anyways. >.>

I sleep on my side, with 2 or 3 pillow stacked. I switch between facing left of my bed and the right while I sleep. I always put my arm beneath the top pillow so I can keep it comfortable and not squish it. My legs tend to curl up slightly, and my head is always tilted downward while I sleep.

Apparently, I talk in my sleep. I demand evidence to support this theory. :mokken:

I toss and turn until I can get in a comfortable position. In recent months, I love sleeping on my stomach. Don't know why, it's just really comfy there. I hardly ever sleep on my back, I have to be either on my stomach or side.

usually on my side, curled arms and curled legs (the fetus style).

if I'm REALLY tired then I can sleep perfectly on my back, but otherwise I always tend to roll to my side.

I sometimes stick on some headphones with my 'sleeping' playlist on. the feeling you get listening to a really calm and beautiful song whilst half asleep is incredible; there are some songs that sound the best whilst half asleep, it's strange.

I've been told that I talk a bit in my sleep. I'll apparently "wake up" and talk to someone but then fall back asleep... and not remember a thing when I actually do wake up.

Most of the time, I'll sleep on my side. That's probably the most comfortable. I also usually just move my head off of the pillow in my sleep anyway; so I don't usually fall asleep with my head on the pillow.

Sometimes I wake up on my stomach with my arms wrapped around the pillow... but I don't like falling asleep on my stomach because I have to keep my head facing a certain direction so I'm not face flat on the pillow. That inevitably leads to a sore neck.

I always seem to wake up having slept on my left side - never on my right side. Although I'm not fully certain if this is always the case, my body often tends to turn to face leftwards of my bed while I'm sleeping. I'd be interested to know why I never wake up facing rightwards.

That's it for my habits I guess. I've never heard anything about my snoring or sleep-talking, so I assume that I've done neither.

EDIT: Oh yes, I'm very fond of resting my arms under my pillow as well. xD

Guess someone will just have to put something by your bed recording sound while you sleep through the night, and then spend the afternoon hearing it through to see if you talk at all during it. :wacky:

And when I lay on my stomach, I usually have my right arm straight back near my side, while my left arm is up near the pillow, with my head facing to the left (I don't have my face buried into the pillow. I don't think my nose would agree with that... :P).

When I was younger, I had a habit of grinding my teeth in my sleep. As I got older though, I stopped grinding my teeth and took up snoring. :lew: I know I never sleep walked, and I'm sure there have been a time or 2 when I talked in my sleep, but I can't confirm that for sure.

I tend to sleep on my left side, as I got used to that over the years and if you have heartburn problems like me, sleeping on that side will allow it to feel a little better so you can sleep. I tend to sleep on my stomach as well, facing the left. I also fold my arms in a weird way. sleeping on my left side or stomach, I basically wrap my left arm around my neck, to my right shoulder basically. And my right hand is either outstretched or under the pillow right under my head. If I extend my left arm out, my hand falls asleep, hence the reason I wrap it around.

I honestly don't know what my sleeping habits are, but I'm pretty sure I toss and turn a lot in my sleep. I would always start out in a normal sleeping position, and when I wake up my legs and arms are everywhere. :rage:

I have two pillows that I hug, one is a regular pillow and the other is made of kapok. I love the latter. I don't sleep without it and I bring it with me when I'm out of town. Though it's very thin now and needs a refill. :wacky:

Hmmm I have 2 pillows I usually put the first one between my legs cause it feels good and the other one I just lay down on. I turn sometimes too in my sleep. Sometimes whn I wake up in te morning I find myself fallin off the bed. I do hug the pillows lot though.

All I know is that when I go to bed I have two socks on and when I get up in the morning the left sock is always missing from my foot. =/

I usually fall asleep on my side with my head on the pillow and then wake up with the pillow always shoved aside.

I've also noticed that Steve and I somehow end up on each others side of the bed during the night.

Do you know how confusing that is when you wake up in the morning. :gonk: You go to bed facing the door and wake up facing the window. >.<

I sleep on my side and always seem to be surrounded by my pillows, I don't snore but i fidget lots, if i cant get to sleep il just toss and turn for ages. Apperently I move around alot in my sleep as well....which i suppose i can beleive, the state my quilt cover is in when i wake up, ive woken up many a time with it the wrong way round. Would loe to know wtf I get up to

It all depends if there is someone in bed with me or not. I roll in my sleep quite a bit, but then I always have to have something to wrap around, whether it be a body pillow or a girl, whichever. If I'm completely alone though, somehow I end up with my legs facing diagonal to my pillows and my head on the left side facing the foot board. So apparently I do 180's in my sleep?

As far as habits.. well I do snore, just not that awful apnea noise most find annoying. The thing that I do though is carry on conversations with folks when I'm dead asleep. Meaning it will be like you are in my dream and I wake up and I don't know a thing yet I have folks tell me all these crazy things I was saying.

Like my old college roomy said I asked him if he had a cigarette and if he smoked, when he said yes.. I just said cool and rolled back over.

For as long as I remember I always slept on my side, usually towards the wall. At one time I was quite restless when I sleep so I always woke up in various positions. Sometimes with my blanket off me, sometimes with my socks off, and one time I even remember waking up laying on the foot of my bed. Nowadays though I am calm yet very light sleeper. If I do move in my sleep, I will wake myself up now.

I like to sleep on my stomach, sprawled out across the entire bed on one pillow. I need ma space. When I'm stuffy, however, I must sleep on my back or side on 2 pillows. Also, I tend to answer people when they ask me questions whilst I sleep, which can be very dangerous and/or embarrassing.

I snore....apparently.
Not surprising to be honest as my mum snores like a fucking grizzly bear. I obviously inherited it from her.

Ive been know to talk in my sleep aswell. Thanks to my friend pirie who kindly filmed me talking in my sleep about a girl named Katy i know its true.

Besides that im not the best of sleepers. I always wake up multiple times in the night needing something to drink....which then makes me wake up again needing the toilet.
Seems i always wake up as me and Katy are getting to the good stuff. Pfft.

Well I really don't have a clue since I sleep alone in my room and I lock the door as soon as I am about to sleep to avoid being awakened for nothing important (I know that could also become a death trap scenario but I am willing to take the risks :jtc:). I don't sleep much cause it is quite difficult for me to get any sleep so I end up resting for 6 or 5 hours, must be the caffeine intake (but I do take naps every now and then). I also used to have a kind of very realistic dream called "Night Terrors" and then you would find me paralyzed staring at the wall (though I swear I could see something...) with my eyes wide open. -__-

Night Terrors are a bitch....and don't contribute much to my insomnia :mokken:

Apparently, I talk in my sleep. I demand evidence to support this theory. :mokken:
EVIDENCE->
I bet you looked...
:mokken:

I have to have a blanket over me.

Lately I've been wondering if I have a sleep disorder. I have trouble falling asleep, and when I finally, I sleep for a very long time. Like last night I slept over 12 hours. I felt like I wasted my day <.<

Over twelve hours? That's half a day. :gasp: That is a while...hopefully it's just that once you fall asleep that you're a bit of a heavy sleeper. xP

And that's doesn't sound so great, Julius. :ness: I have to say I am glad I don't have those Night Terrors. >.>' Funny, I can never remember having any dreams or nightmares in my sleep...if I do, I certainly have no recollection of them when I wake up. :hmmm:

Okay, there have been the occasional one or two that I didn't forget, at least one of them occurred more than once...

I usually get spooned by my bf, but I find it comfortable to be in a half spoon, half on stomach position to fall asleep. And I'm not sure why, but I always need my under arm to be underneath the pillow and hold it closer to me.

I've been known to sleep talk and snore, but pfft.. where's the proof. :monster:
