Greetings all!
So I'm Kevin and I'm a major student in the faculty of Medicine of Finland, striving to become a surgeon. I'm currently undergoing a busy life; with tight schedules that involves work and studies. When I have time to spare, I tend to spend my leisure hours playing games and other social activities.
To be honest, while I have been aware of the existence of Final Fantasy ever since I was a kid, I have never bothered to play actual attention to the franchise. When I for the first time experienced the enjoyment of the Kingdom Hearts game--and noticed the presence of Final Fantasy characters--it got me genuinely interested looking further into the franchise that I had previously been ignoring. Unfortunately at that time, the franchise still didn't intrigue me, and the share number of different installments in the franchise had me 'mind-boggled' at the time, and I saw it as too much of a stretch to delve into. Me not being interested in the particular genre of games that the FF games were about contributed as well to my lack of interest.
However, throughout the years of playing different games have made me interested in different aspects in games than before, especially one aspect in particular: great story-telling. Well executed, complex stories is what genuinely stimulates me nowadays, and quite recently a friend of mine recommended the Final Fantasy series as games that are a must play for me if I'm looking for a good game with an intriguing story, as well as for several other reasons. She recommended personally FFVI and FFVII, which are the games I'm going to get as soon as possible.
So, I hope the games live up to the experience, and as well manages to provide other factors which will intrigue me (well written characters and antagonists, etc.) I hope as well I'll have a great time here on the forums, and hopefully fellow members can guide / share what other games in the franchise are worth wile to play, as well as many other things.
