DLC for FFXIII? What a horrible thought...whilst a little challenge would have been nice from the game, I would have preferred it if they made the learning curve a little steeper (as in, an actual curve, and not a straight line with the odd small bump) instead of just packing it all in at the end.
As for a sequel...no, thanks. The characters, the soundtrack and the gameplay are only memorable in how sub-par they were, and I have no desire to return to the world of Cocoon with its barely explained, confusing and frequently used terminology, lack of proper villainy and straight-line pathways anytime soon.
A new game every two years would be nice, though. Most other developers manage that easily, I don't see why Square Enix couldn't. Although I've lost a lot of the faith I had in Square Enix's ability to make quality games as the year has progressed, so perhaps a little more development time might be in order, in the hopes that they'll get something right with their next batch of games.
...oh, and they should fire Toriyama. Immediately.
