AOTW 37 Voting Thread!

Ok, theme this week was Oriental.

I really like number 3. Its cool with the geisha and everything. the colors are nice for the background. It looks the most oriental for me. So vote goes to 3

Gosh I hard a hard time choosing between 1 and 3.

They're both beautifully done that's for sure.

I like the geisha theme they both used, however, my vote went to #1 due to the fact that it stood out to me more. It had good use of colour and the lighting was very well done. It sort of has an old picture sort of feel to it, save for the colours.

I love the border style and the blending is great!

Honestly, none of them really stand out to me. But of the three, I think I prefer the third. #1 has too much of a quilt look going on.

1 and 3 seemed too similar for me, so I went with 2. My only problem with it was the difficulty of reading the text. I mean, otherwise, the image and the reflection of the flower were pretty sweet for the graphic.

It wasn't a strain to look at like the brightness in 1 and 3, and the nature of it got it my vote.

I'm going to vote for number one; I like the lighting and simplicity of it. It instantly stood out to me as I opened the thread so I think it deserves my vote.

Imma vote for #1, that and #3 are too much alike but I didn't vote for #3 because I thought the text was kinda a put off. =\ so #1 gets my vote.

the colours match and blend right in.

1 and 3 are very similar and it was a tough choice but i ended up going with 3. Very fitting text, nice choice of stock and good colours.
The blur in the bottom corner put me off number 1.

It's soft and yet eye-catching. The border just about finishes it off nicely. Terrific avatar.

Number 1. The whole thing is just really pretty, love the colours and the image and how it kinda looks....faded/pale? fuck knows, i just like it best

Number 3, primarily because of the reality factor. Very nicely done.

I'm going with #1.

#1: It really defines the theme and it's so softly lighted that it looks really really nice.

#2: just looks like a stock image with text put on it tbh

#3: The image looks blurred and I can't see her face right. Also, the text put me off a bit.

Definitely #1. I love the mixture of colors, albeit somewhat limited, but it still defines a perfect 'Oriental' theme. Typically when I think of 'Oriental', that type of image used (artwork-related) is what comes to mind. The lighting is gorgeous - simply one of the best avatars I've seen for a very long time. I want to use it!

Ugh, this was a pretty touch decision. Both #1 and #3 were awesome!

I'm going to have to go with #1 though, mainly because the text is #3 makes it seem abit overcrowded =/ It would've looked better without it in my opinion.

I love the smudge effects in the first avi though; they were a great touch. It's overall simplicity makes it a winner in my book as well ^^
