What game did you buy last?

Persona for PSP, Shadow of Destiny and PoKeMoN HeartGold.
My favorite so far is HeartGold. Can't believe it took me this long to buy!

Dead Space 2 and GTA4-Complete for PS3.:fart:

Mod Edit: Since this is a post count section, please could you expand upon your post?

I just bought Crysis 2 for my PS3. I don't really play FPS games but I quite enjoy this one for some reson. Reminds me a bit of Halo, guess that's why. =). All in all, it's a pretty solid game. Just have to learn the rope so I won't LOSE!

Crysis 2 is a failure.

My brother and I reserved it for some odd reason, and we didn't even like it that much. We liked the first one, but this one fails.

Anyways,

Last game I bought was Resonance of Fate :woo: and I'm loving it.

I just bought L.A. Noire a couple of days ago.

It is a game by Rock Star (the people who made Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption) and some Bondi whatever team.

It's a game where you are some dude called Phelps and you're a cop and you make your way up through the ranks by solving crimes.

It's pretty fun, doing the interviews and finding clues are my favourite bit.
I haven't finished it yet but I am pretty close.

I recommend it to anyone who has patience. It's not an action packed game. There are car chases and shooting but not much. It's mostly just a case solving game. :)

FF Dissidia 012 Duodecim. It launched a few days ago in Belgium so I had to get it right away.

Chrono Cross,black label,factory sealead. U$108 bucks,not so expensive I thought it would be \o/

I bought Little Big Planet 2 off of Amazon for $53.99 a couple of days ago. I've gotten a lot farther in Little Big Planet...and the longer I play it the more I like it...so I figured it was about time to purchase the second one and see where they've improved it.

It still is a bit pricey at $53.99...but I'm proud of myself for biting the bullet and waiting until a bit after the original release date so I could save some money. I got super saver shipping so I didn't even have to pay for shipping, which is nice...however I'm irritated because I'm not supposed to get it until the 7th...which is really trying my patience! :rage:

With the lack of an F-Zero title on the horizon and the fact I've played Wipeout Pulse to death recently, I bought FAST - Racing League off WiiWare for £7 after recommendation from a friend. It's actually a really fun game, typical Wipeout/F-Zero stuff, but requires you to concentrate a lot more on pickups and remembering patterns. Played it with both Classic Controller and Wii Wheel, and it's good fun with both, though the learning curve is pretty steep, this will keep me hooked for a while. Well worth £7.

F.E.A.R. 3 / F.3.A.R.

I recently saw a few playthroughs of this out on YouTube, and thought it looked pretty fun. I also liked the idea of a co-op playthrough and psychic possession powers. Which is why I am looking forward to a playthrough with Big Casino. :ohoho:

I haven't started it yet, as I think I'll just wait 'til I can start that co-op run. Hopefully my partner in crime won't get too pissed off at me if I suck.

I also pre-ordered Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and... Modern Warfare 3. My mom, of all people, convinced me to go through with it, because Target had a pre-order deal going on. Can't wait for UC3, however MW3 I'm still very skeptical about, but I do think the Modern Warfare series exceeds anything Treyarch has come up with.

On a whim I purchased both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus pre-owned from Amazon, I've never bought pre-owned games before so here's hoping they work fine and all that. I meant to pick them both up at various stages but never quite got around to it, decided the other day when I realised I haven't gotten a new game in a long ass time.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Amazon had it as a Platinum label for a very tempting £12.99 and I bought it from the site rather than trotting off to GAME or Gamestation where it was priced £19.99. I'm in no hurry for it to come though, as I still need to get AC2 done - and with Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities included in AC2, I have two extra sequences to work through, which should be fun. Then once I'm done with AC2's storyline and get as much of the trophies as I can, I won't be rushing straight away to play Brotherhood to avoid slight Assassin's Creed burnout. After seeing the villa and Monteriggioni be reduced to rubble by Cesare Borgia's men in the E3 footage from last year, I suddenly have little will now to finish completing the villa. I splashed out on all those Florins for that place. :mokken:

Brotherhood definitely looks more refined than AC2 admittedly. I've seen the faster and slicker combat with more moves at Ezio's disposal whereas in AC2 I find myself just spamming the low-profile assassination, counter and disarm moves more than anything. I really can't wait to run around Rome though, after hearing how large it is compared to the (already large) Venice of the second game.

Heroes of Might and Magic VI.

It's a pre-order through Steam actually, but the pre-order gives you access to the beta, so while I'm not usually one for pre-orders, I just couldn't resist in this case. My friends and I played so many hot seat games of Heroes II and III when we were kids and still get together for some Heroes V every once in a while, so this one was a no-brainer. I still haven't had the chance to actually try it out though! :P

Metal Gear Solid, off the Playstation Network. A combination of shoutbox discussion, listening to Psycho Mantis' Hymn repeatedly, Liquid Snake and a general desire for a decent, detailed storyline in a video game that isn't an RPG I've played fifty-million times previously has prompted me to buy this again. I have the remake on the Gamecube, but...eh, I wanna play it on my PSP, thus, I downloaded it. Looking forward to starting it properly tomorrow :jess:

Last game I bought was White Knight Chronicles, the first one.

I'm loving it so far, since Level 5 made this game :awesome:

They also created one of my all time favorite RPGs, DQ8. So I instantly noticed the graphical style of the game, and the way the maps are designed.

Great game overall, I didn't go wrong this time.

Mass effect 3 and Resonance of Fate....Mass Effect 3 is amazing! strongly recommend it to any rpg or fps fan...the amount of control you have over the story in the game is incredible and the gameplay doesnt suffer one bit...easily can play through it multiple times

As for Resonance of Fate...F***! This game will kick your ass...the learning curve is probably the steepest out of all the games ive experienced...but if you put the work into it, its a very rewarding game...if your a fan of japanese rpg's...you might wanna check it out

Halo 3

I never finished the campaign on Legendary. I bitched out on it again too, good thing it was only 10 bucks. I think I burned out halfway through the fourth mission lol

I spent a lot of time in the barracks with the brutes, but I devised a pretty awesome strategy with a plasma grenade and a shotgun.

While they were turned away, I'd throw a plasma on the ass of a brute (im not even kidding, i thought it was hilarious) and melee one of them from the back if the option was available, then kill another one with the shotgun close range. Toss a normal grenade and retreat to behind the nearby walls.

Then I'd just sit there until they walked into my line of sight and shoot them in the face with the shotgun. If the Brute Hero came, i'd run through the hole behind me and grab the machine gun turret i left at the sealed off exit and kill them

I died a lot, but it was pretty epic once that strategy came together. I really enjoyed it :wacky:

F.E.A.R. 2

Played F.E.A.R. 3 already and was told the second game was better, so I decided I'd try it out. I'm really into scary games at the moment for some reason so I hope it's somewhat scary.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

Upon recommendation. :mokken: Looks interesting as well as scary, so I'm looking forward to playing this one. Liking the idea of almost solely melee weapons as well.

Fallout: New Vegas

On a whim. It's surprisingly cheap now - $17.99 - so I gave in and bought it. I'm not a fan of long games admittedly but hopefully I can get into it and appreciate its length.

Fallout: New Vegas is a pretty good game...if you cant get over the many glitches along the way its worth playing through...save frequently as getting stuck in a rock after a couple hours of exploring...umm sucks :P
