Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind Part II

Not usually a big fan of "popular" songs... but this one is very catchy. She's got an amazing voice... enough said. The piano only makes it even better.

Grew up in a town that is famous as the place of movie scenes
Noise is always loud, there are sirens all around and the streets are mean
If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere, that's what they say
Seeing my face in lights or my name in marquees found down on Broadway

Even if it ain’t all it seems, I got a pocketful of dreams
Baby, I'm from New York
Concrete jungle where dreams are made of
There's nothing you can't do
Now you're in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you
Hear it for New York, New York, New York

We Throw Parties, You Throw Knives - Los Campesinos!
Is anyone actually going to bother reading this? Because I seriously doubt they are. I already did this once and it took about a week before anyone on staff clocked on. If you have bothered reading this, well done. How was your day?

My day's been just fine thank you. :wacky:

March of The Pigs - Nine Inch Nails. 10/10

I've never been much of a NIN fan but I love this song... I love the how the song just transitions from hard and then to soft, then picks back up with the same intensity as before. I really like the beat as well.

Nice n Sleazy - The Stranglers

My favourite Stranglers' song, the keyboard starts, and then the guitar riff over that and then the bass. Fantastic. I'm surprised they aren't better known, especially as Keith the dead chef played their music a lot.

The Human Equation - Ayreon

Yes technically I know it's got songs in it, but the entire thing is rather bizarre experiment being conducted by an alien race and even the experiment has its own plot. It's such a bizarre thing but at the same time it's just so much fun :)

I DEMAND YOU ALL LISTEN TO IT.

The Verve.
A storm in heaven.

An amazing album that hardly anyones ever heard of.
Oh well :3
Sometimes it's nice knowing these rare little gems.

Shoppin' Spree ~ by Soulja Boy, Young Gotti, and Gucci Mane

My old roommate got me hooked on this song for clubbin' and cruisin' in the Jeep. Wasn't really a Soulja Boy fan until I heard this song of his. Pretty cool. Probably won't be fond of it if you're not into rap music though.

Kelly Clarkson - Whyyawannabringmedown

Not the kind of song you'd normally hear from her, but she still retains her voice with the speed of it. It's the kind of revenge song you'd play against your ex when you break up with them. I hope she does more like this in the future.

Enrique Iglesias - Bailamos

This takes me right back to the years I used to go to Spain every year on holiday. Enrique's got such a polished voice and this song just makes me want to go back to Spain to dance along to it! He really got me into Latin songs and this is no exception.

10/10

Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever) - Muse
Really disappointed with it. They've stuck to the Queen-like sound they had with United States of Eurasia, and then gone and written a love song. It's far from what Muse are best at. Hopefully it's the last time Matt Bellamy writes something like this.

Band of Skulls - Light of the Morning

Perfect example of a great rock band. They're insane. I feel like I'm in the 60s when I listen to it. It's amazing!!

Love the guys voice and the lyrics.

Mr. Sandman - Blind Guardian

I don't really know where to begin. THis is such a trippy song and the band starts off in drag and then break into a kid's room dressed as Pennywise from "IT".

Most Girls- Pink

This. Song. Is. Amazing. <3

Hands down---

Pink in this song is just awesome.

Pink has a lovely voice.

I love the lyrics of this song. It's just an amazing song.

Has a nice ring to it and she delivers it smoothly.

Well done on her part.

Not Afraid- Eminem

Eminem is the best musical artist in the last decade, period. It doesn't matter what genre you compare him to, he is literally that talented. If he was a poet instead of a rapper he would be the next Allen Ginsberg. While Not Afraid is not his best work, it is certainly better than just about anything on Relapse (with the exception of Beautiful) and an indication of better things to come.

Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen

...yup, I'm in one of those moods again. I'm going to be listening to Queen all night now. XD
They're one of those bands that sound awesome every time I listen to them...not very many can claim that

Justin Timberlake- Like I love ya

Well, Justin is just such a charmer :ryan: He's very talented, and good looking as well =P
He has a great voice and he puts it to use in this song.

Its very upbeat and its a good song to listen to.

Very sexy song indeed xD.

One of my fave songs by him.

Justin is awesone :ryan:

Old song but, a good one =P

Ironik Feat. Chipmunk & Elton John - Tiny Dancer (Hold Me Closer)

I don't normally listen to this kind of music, but I've really started listening to it since I heard it in the second trailer for StreetDance. I especially love Elton John in the chorus, he's still got perfect vocals. It's a very catchy song.

8/10

Luke Bryan - Rain is a good thing.

I like this song it just gets me moving. "Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey, whiskey makes my baby, feel a little friskey." One of the best songs ever imo. Love country.
