The Nine Worlds: RP

Crystal was pleased that Kat had calmed down. It somewhat boosted Crystal's confidence as a business woman even though she originally meant to give up her position before all this hell broke loose. She kept too herself for the time being as it seemed they would not be moving just right yet.

Koodori on the other hand seemed happy for some reason. His personality had finally become his own as he seemed to have finally adapted to this situation. The visions he saw before him a few minutes ago made him realise that he had to do anything in his power to keep everyone alive and happy couse the powers that was within him would let him do the exact thing.

He looked over too Aria, his beloved sister and the reason he still moves and breathes. He knew that she would not be able to continue this journey without someone too keep her up, yet it seemed that she by herself have gotten a few friends of her own. I guess it was inevitable that such a cute girl would get atleast someone elses attention, and Koodori did not mind that thought at all.

Crystal then heard Kat's appolgy for the way she acted. Crystal knew that a strong woman like her would not appologise this easily for their acts, but seeming at she meant it sincerely she smiled at her with her hands crossed beneath her chest.

"There is no need to appologise. You had every right too react like that, yet I belive at the moment we should try to keep calm. We are all on the same team here and that goes for the unconcious one aswell."

OUTSIDER LOOKING IN

As Bones watched the flight of the arrow as it approached Aria's back, he noted the confusion in Kiko's eyes. After seeing the anger light up Aria's face, Bones could sense Katharina's reaction. He hoped she wouldn't act the way he foresaw. It would set off a chain of events that could fragment the group.

As the situation seemed to blow over, Bones remained around the periphery of the group. He knew it would be foolish to get too directly involved with them. But at some point, it would be impossible to avoid. He could only hope the timing was immaculate. Otherwise....

Otherwise.........

(Okay i don't want Tay to sound metagamey, but I figured seeing as she's elemental, she'd be able to sense others who can use that power... especially when they're in such close vicinity)

SAUL
Disgrace of the warrior

Saul felt nothing but confusion... and pain as his newly transformed body flew through the air, heightened sense of smell ablaze with the scent of the devastation littering the ground of the City that had once been New York. Fire raged deep in his soul and he felt the great desire to murder... to destroy that which had killed so many innocents in cold blood. This, coupled with the animalistic urge to tear the beast before him apart, made the wolf warrior act more rashly than he would do usually. Before he could realise what a mistake it was to fly at his enemy in such a way, it was far too late.

Stopped in mid-air, the sheer force of the Destroyer's grip was enough to expell all air from the wolf's lungs. Eyes closing to the throbbing agony the change had inflicted upon him, along with the pain in his ribs from where the beast held him, Saul found himself praying for death to take him. Oh how sweet it would be, to die right there, free from the restraints of life and all that came with it. His body hurtled towards the ground and Saul let out a pained sigh. As nice as death would be at that point, it was hardly a warrior's demise, was it?

Just when he thought his body was going to impact and crack against the ground, someone caught him mid-fall, rolling as they hit the ground. Feeling his saviour shift and stand, Saul's eye flickered open to look upon the girl's face. He tried to speak... but the words wouldn't come. A strained growl came from his throat instead as he slipped into unconsciousness.

In that black abyss, somewhere deep inside his own mind, Saul stared at the form of himself, battered and broken. Beside him stood the girl with the harp, her eyes saying nothing. The dancer stood at her side. It was then that Saul felt something he had never before experienced.

Even in the void of his subsciousness... Saul felt disgraced.

ARIA
Trying to hold on to hope

Aria had no idea what was going on, and that above all else frightened the young girl. She hung her head, clutching her injured arm as she allowed herself to drift inwards, into her thoughts where it was safer. In the images in her mind, Aria was safe from all of the worries of life, the pain and the fear. But she could not hide in there forever. She knew this. Despite how badly she just wanted to turn comatose and lose herself in her own mind... she just couldn't.

Lifting her head, she thought back briefly on what the voice had whispered to her. The Singer. That was what she did. She sang and in doing so, she lifted not only her own spirits, but those of her comrades. Would it be in bad taste for her to play now? Aria wasn't sure if she wanted to risk it... but at the same time, she felt the need to do something.

Gingerly at first, the Singer's fingers traced the strings of her harp. The stinging pain in her arm almost caused her to stop, but she bit down on her lip and forced herself to continue. Bronze eyes drifted to the archer and Aria found herself pitying the boy. The strumming of her harp stopped, a clatter echoing around the tunnel as she allowed it to fall.

A foot, small in its little boot, crashed down on the instrument, splintering the wood. Gazing only momentarily at the cracked harp, Aria lifted her head, opened her mouth and sang.

She was a singer, not a bard. Her power came not from the harp that lay broken beneath her foot, but from her throat.

A turning point. Aria was taking control of her own destiny. Her song was rich, pure and from the heart. She was taking command of her own life. No longer was she going to cower in fear from that which haunted her dream. No... she was Aria Kitamura, sister to Koodori. A girl with a talent for singing. She sang of overcoming fear, of defeating darkness and of the terror that had taken her during their flight from the City. Her eyes closed as her song ended, blonde hair drifting around her face, hiding it from view.

This is no time to be arguing...” she said quietly. “What's done is done. We need to move.”

TAYLANA
Oh sweet sorrow

Taylana allowed her eyes to drift closed as the scent of blood tickled at her nose. With a smirk, she looked sideways at Anastasia. Surely the other woman had caught the scent too? They were getting close. The song that struck Taylana's ears caused her to pause for a moment. Her eyes narrowed as she looked back at the young girl to make sure she was still dragging up the rear, before she pressed a finger to her lip and laughed lightly.

Seems someone thinks they can take on the world...” Taylana tutted and rolled her head, resulting in a crack of her neck. Flexing her hands, the Elemental smiled softly. “What do you say we put a stop to those plans, Ana?”

Bottom lip caught between teeth as Taylana thought about the possible destruction that lay ahead. The air was rife with energy. It was all raw... untamed... and that excited her. Fingers crackled with lightning as she closed her eyes again and breathed in that raw power. Sighing with a satisfied look on her face, Taylana balled her hands into fists, igniting them as she did so.

I have one request of you, Ana, dear,” she said respectfully to the other woman. “The one with the untamed magic is mine...”

(OOC: Sorry for the short post! I have no clue what's going on so I'm trying to make interaction or do sumthin)

The skies had begun to rain and Wylfred had no clue why he stood on the outside of the larg tunnel looking at NewJersey. He decided to venture back inside the tunnel to look for people with possible food who are traveling. Suddenly he heard noises from up ahead. He ran forward screaming "Hey! Hey! Are you survivors?"

He waited in the darkness to get a response back...

Laleth
Laleth walked in the rain towards the city. She smiled humming to herself. She was bored.She was tired. She was angry that the others had left her to go have fun without her. Seeing a happy family drive up to her in a car she figured she'd have the upper hand in this destruction. "Hey! Little girl! Are you okay? Do you need a ride?"

The family consisted of three children about her age and a mother and father. Laleth smirked. She stood facing the car and leaned forward in the window. "I don't think you can fit me..." She said as he unspoken anger built each second.

The wife smiled at her. Laleth looked at her, happy mocking eyes. The whole family was happy. Laleth hated their generosity. They're mocking me! She thought. Just then Laleth pulled out a dagger and jabbed it in the wifes heart. The family screamed.

"Stop mocking me!" She screamed in rage as she climbed into the car window jabbing her dagger into the husband, into the kids, into the cars interior. "Stop it stop it stop it!"

She screamed in anger until nothing but chocking corpses and ripped leather remained. Laleth gazed at the wife she had killed. Blood dribbled softly from the womas mouth onto Laleths stocking which was caught by the window as she leaned in the car.

Laleth slowly struggled to get herself out of the window from whence she entered and opened the passenger car door. She dragged the wife out and dropped her on the side of the road. Doing this with the kids and the husband afterwards and then she closed all th car doors and climbed in the drivers seat. "It's my turn to play." She said angrily as she drove off in the rain...

Samuel watched in fascination as Aria began to play her harp, plucking the strings lightly and effortlessly, a beautiful tune echoing around the Holland Tunnel as she played. Samuel found himself in utter awe for one of those rare times in his life. The song was beautiful, haunting, and would remain in Samuel's mind for a long time to come.

But then she dropped the harp, and put her foot down on the harp, splintering it. Her face seemed almost utterly calm, and Samuel knew without her needing to say anything that she was resolved. And there was no breaking that resolve.

And then came the song. If the harp music had been beautiful, this was utterly enchanting, a beautiful song that lifted samuel's heart and made him... happy for no reason. He could stay in this tunnel for eons and listen to Aria sing... and still want to hear yet more. It was so beautiful.

When the song ended, the euphoria remained. Samuel was snapped out of her stupor by the call of a boy from further ahead. He just hoped that Aria hadn't caught him staring. He didn't know why, but it would embarrass him.

"Yes, we're survivors!" he yelled. "Come over."
___________________________________________________________________

Taylana's suggestion made Anastasia's heart dance with delight. Ah, sweet blood. She could almost taste it now, and, like the Elemental, could smell the sweet scent of untamed, raw magic, and did not care that Taylana wanted her. There was another boy... the summoner. That was who Anastasia wanted.

"You're welcome to her, Taylana," whispered Anastasia, inhaling deeply to take in the scent of untamed magic once more. For soon it would be dead. "Enjoy the hunt."

She then turned to the girl... the Mistress of the Underworld- how easy that was to forget with such a strong scent lingering. "If you're as young as you look, well, you're about to be emotionally traumatized. A coy smile touched Anastasia's lips as she moved on. @Hmm. Laleth has gone feral again."

Brunhilde

The two Valkyrie descended down towards the tunnel. Brunhilde landed lightly above where the tunnel ran as the entrance was too far. Should she find a manhole or some form of entrance, she could enter the tunnel from the middle, thus saving her walking time. Power reverberated from below. It was not a good sign. It meant that power was gathering and in such confined spaces, it could be dangerous. Stabbing her sword tip into the ground, she walked around until it met with a metallic clink. Her foot brushed away the dust and debris, revealing a maintenance entrance for tunnel workers. It required a key, but a quick swing of her sword dealt with the human lock. The heavy trapdoor swung upwards, revealing the gaping darkness. With no hesitation, Brunhilde dropped down.

Ashe

OOC: Since danny is taking a while to respond, im going to just flee successfully.

Regardless, maybe if she just ran right now, she could get away before he could track her. After all, she had been supressing her power. It might work. Plus, fighting with the boy in his current condition would most likely kill him, especially against someone like that.

Hold on boy. It might get a bit bumpy.

Ashe darted off towards the side, running past blocks in a flash. She ignored all defense, only trying to get distance. The tunnel was the best bet. Although the people inside were not at a level to even be sneezed at by that Pure One. At the very least, they could look after him.

The tunnel mouth loomed ahead and Ashe slowed down slightly to see if the man was following. Nothing pinged her mind, which was good. With a sharp turn, Ashe took both of them into the tunnel, only stopping when it was dark. There she rested the boy against a car. Small medical attention was required before she moved him further down. The others weren't too far down. She could easily catch up.

Hey, are you alright? Wake up.

From her waist, a water skin appeared, which Ashe pressed to his lip and washed a bit over his face. Hopefully, that would bring him back into consciousness.

Lindt

OOC: I am a bit behind with what is happening with the main group, so i'll just make it that Lindt has somewhat settled her suspicion and move along with them.

Things were really riled up, but she guessed they didn't look like a pillager, so that was good enough for now. With the tension being toned down thanks to the woman with the crazy magic, Lindt walked on a bit forward, towards where Bones was. Of all the ones in the group, he was the one she knew the longest, even if it was a few minutes. Plus, he had helped her already.

Well, things seemed to have settled. I guess we are moving on...

"Hey! Hey! Are you survivors?"

Oops. More people... friend or foe, you think?

Luna had not known why she was still going with the two she encountered, as she always thought she deserved to be treated like a lady. But when one of them spoke to her, Luna did not much like what it was she said. But then before she could say anything the other one spoke. Luna instantly forgot what the first one said because the second one said something that got even more under her nerves.

"IT'S NOT LIKE I'M A LITTLE GIRL!"
Luna screamed aloud. Her words were always so emotional and infuriating. "I'M PROBABLY OLDER THAN YOU!" Luna wasn't particularly proud of her appearance, but it was often a good thing she looked so young. Times like these she think it as a burden because people always under estimate her abilities.

Luna was anxious to know how far the tunnel lead, so she used her vision to scope out exactly where the end was. With this ability she could see then end was not too far, definitely less than 300 feet, and so she said, "We should see the end in a few, so try treating me with the respect i deserve! Or I'll have to hurt you in front of everyone else!"

OOC: Cocky little one ain't she? :O

With Arukab nearing the end of the tunnel, he was even more motivated than ever to push himself. He didn't much like where he was at the time, dark and bleak areas were so annoying. When he met the end, he slowed down to a slow walk, breathing heavy from the toll the silver had on him earlier. He was unsure if he could make it any farther on even a walk, so he decided to sit. He was on concrete, so it wasn't too comfortable.

But yet Arukab still felt that nothing was right. The incident at Gotham City was not the end of it. Arukab had to do something about what may be coming. He would not stand for death to flow like this into everything he had protected for so long. He had not failed yet, and he would not accept it after his 200 years of service to Pegos. He would die before he let anything fall in his presence.

Lloyed had come up in the next place he desired. He was in Jersey city, where he would raise a little hell here and there. The streets were noisy and crowded. Lloyed drew his Kiku-ichi-monjow and walked slowly. He took up the blade while walking, and people gazed at him. Others walked by as if they saw nothing. But Lloyed was not liking what he saw. He was a god, he wanted them to bow down to him, and so he took his blade, and plunged it through a middle aged man. He twisted the sword, making the bones snap and brigning himself some attention. The man was one of the ones walking by pretending he saw nothing.

"I will not be ignored, you foolish peons will bow to me in the end." Lloyed spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. Now it was just a matter of time before the authorities come find him. Then he would have some real fun.

Ellie-Tunnel Vision

Ellie followed her sister down into the maintence tunnel. While the tunnel was indeed dark, she could see the path as if it was day. Still, not being one to be caught off guard, Ellie kept her hand on the sheath of her sword, ready to draw it out in case anyone tried to sneak up on them.

Ellie was disgusted at the sight of beings who get the sick thrill of killing people and was now very much determined to stop the Pure Ones once and for all.

Katharina-A Flicker of Hope

"Hey! Hey! Are you survivors?"

As soon as Kat heard the voice she yelled back. "Yeah, we're survivors!!!"

Oops. More people... friend or foe, you think?

Kat turned to the female with the rifle, "I hope so, though I do not doubt we can take this one individual." She spoke this with no confidence though, as they did have a comatose person, albeit one she no longer trusted. She did hope that her brother is okay, since he resided on the other side of the Holland Tunnel.

"Yes, we're survivors!"

"Yeah, we're survivors!!!"

Wyl smiled as the echoes of voices greeted him back. he jogged forwards in the tunnel to spot people ahead. He smiled saying "Hey! Do you got any food? I'm starvin!"

The klepto hadn't eaten in a day and through the chaos he had become so confused as to what to do about himself anymore. He was weighed down in stolen jewels of dead victims.

"It's great to see I'm not the only one besides that girl..." he mumbled.

(OOC: GTA time!)
Laleth

Laleth wasn't so used to driving a car but she liked rolling down the windows having the wind in her hair. The patter from the rain drowned out the songs on the bloddy radio and it became hard to see. Laleth kept straying from her path. She aimed for the sidewalk once more when suddenly a block away she spotted a busy crowd outside of a shopping mall. She remembered how the others had left her to "wait for them" or "transport them here and there". They always got to have all the fun.

Laleth mowed the sidewalk clean of the padestrians and began going after those who ran from her car. She hummed while speeding up just to hear the sickening crunch of bones in the street underneath her car. "I run them over and mother nature cleans their blood from the streets." Laleth sung as she teleported her car through the wall in which ist was headed.

She ended up in a shopping mall filled with lothes racks and perfumes. Spotting potential game she sped up the car stomping on the gas to hit the women at the makeup counter. But as a result she crashed the car into a glass makeup counter. "Shit!" she swore as she exited the car and looked around to survey the damage.

This made her even angrier. Why couldn't she ever fufill her needs? She walked out into the rest of the mall ignoring the frightened faces to journey off to a place that could bring her happiness for her sorrows...

Samuel allowed the boy a smile to show him that he was an ally rather than one of the monstrous people who had been terrorizing New York.

"Nice to meet you," he replied. "We don't have any food, sorry. But we're trying to get through to New Jersey and find the right authorities so that we can tell them about this whole thing and get safe." Samuel kept the smile constant upon his face, even though he didn't believe a word that had come from his own lips.

Chances were, New Jersey was down already, and if it wasn't, it would be soon. Why would those people, who had broadcast their regime on television so blatently, and told the nation to commit suicicde to make it easy, simply stop with one city. They were bound to move onto more.

And soon.

OOC: We need to get the jaws of life on this RP.

IC:

Kat noticed the pair talking with each other, though as much as they would want to stay holed up for safety in the Holland Tunnel, it would be best to continue moving ahead.

"Hey guys, we need to get to the other side of the tunnel." Kat said, carrying the shotgun in her hand by the barrel. Whatever happens beyond this tunnel, she hoped would be a good thing. She hoped, for her sake, that those monsters would not attack Jersey City.

OOC: ACtually, i was going to post last night, but i had an assignment due today, so yea. Whos the other girl you are talkingt about Oliver?

Lindt

"Hey guys, we need to get to the other side of the tunnel."

What the girl said was right. Staying in a dark tunnel was far from ideal. Plus if the damage above ground was as severe as they say it is, then the infrastructure of the tunnel isnt too good then. A quick trot up to the front, Lindt slowed down next to the girl she had dragged to cover from before. She seemed nice enough for someone in this hell hole.

Right. Ill take point then. Name's Lindt by the way. Sorry for the hostile introduction earlier on.

Lindt walked by the new boy and stood on top of yet another car, flashing her torch down the tunnel. She was never a people person. Best leave the boy to the others.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brunhilde
Of course, Ellie followed. After all, they were sisters. All around, she heard the clinking of the two pair of metal boots on the cold concrete floor. The disturbance in the energy lead Brunhilde towards their goal, the tunnel itself.
Sister, I have a terrible feeling about this. I sense a dreadful energy near the tunnel. Its best if we be prepared.
The maintenance tunnel they were in was ill suited to draw and use her sword, but it was better than to walk around unprepared when they enter the tunnel. From the scabbard, she drew her longsword and proceeded to the thick metal door tat faced them.
Prepare yourself sister.
And instantly, with a hefty kick, sent the door swinging open before dropping down to the asphalt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OOC: Ill be taking saul to the group then. Ill have my white mage heal him up somewhat. That will be how Lindt comes to her power.

Ashe

The boy was unconscious. He made no reaction despite the water and her calling. There was no helping it. As a warrior, she was ill equipped for first aid besides the bare minimal. She had already done all that she could do. All that's left is to hope someone further up with the main group could do more.

Well. Up we get then...

Standing back up with the boy still cradled in her arm, Ashe began jogging down the dim tunnel. Jogging by her term is a brisk run in human terms, and quickly , she felt the presence of the group she had left before.

Hey, wait up a sec here!

"We don't have any food, sorry. But we're trying to get through to New Jersey and find the right authorities so that we can tell them about this whole thing and get safe."

"Well then, lead the way..." Wylfred smiled as he joined the group happily.

He had already seen wild things from the battle earlier and had been alone for so long.

(OOC: Short post is short but I'm working towards revival anyways :mokken:)

Anastasia heard a thud from the distance. Sounds like something rather powerful was catching up to them, tracking them somehow. Interesting. It felt like the battle maiden Anastasia had encountered before. A game of cat or mouse would ensue, it seemed. How Anastasia loved to be the lion in mouse's clothing.

She would not stand by and wait for the women to catch up to her. Let her find Anastasia. Smiling to herself just a little, the Twister moved on.
___________________________________________________
Samuel nodded at the boy, then watched as Lindt assumed command. Seemed she had the right idea. He glanced at Wylfred one last time, then moved on, arms folded, trying not to reveal to the others how nervous he was. The childish fear that his beating heart would give him away to whatever lurked in the tunnel simply refused to fade.

OOC: This may be a terrible post as I'm just not feeling it today. I need to get something out there, so I'm posting for Sarvophis. The time this is set is inbetween the destruction of New York and the present.

IC:
Sarvophis slithered through what once was New York, streets and roads were difficult to identify due to all features being crushed, and dust brought down during the carnage covered the entire surface.

There was silence for the most part, but the occasional cry could be heard. Had people survived? How? The dark energy had brought the city right to ground level and all inhabitants had been flattened.

Sarvophis decided to investigate the subways, a logical place to search for the source of these noises, a place where survivors could have been shielded from the destruction above.

Sarvophis’ tail crushed the debris which had been wedged in the steps at a subway entrance and then forced his way through. The survivors inside were covered in dust which had been pushed inside, and they were having difficulty breathing, but were alive. One could say that such dust was a blessing, preparing them for the shock of the sight of a giant serpent breaking through the rubble, such a sight which also took their breath away as they stood in horror.

The survivors, who were not trapped (the subway having been left mostly intact, apart from a few fallen objects, smashed windows and dust), were too frightened to move. The serpent’s angry facial expression certainly did not help the situation, for he was still raging about the amount of damage that the Pure Ones had caused. New York may have been filled to the brim with criminals that he despised, but not every citizen was bad and deserved the ultimate punishment. That even Sarvophis knew.

On observing the large group of survivors, lucky to have been underground (or near to the subway) at the time when the dark ball of energy began to descend, Sarvophis spoke to them.

“Fear not, for I am not the enemy”

He moved closer to the group, which backed away as he spoke. Sarvophis kept his head at the height of the people, a tactic to try and reduce their fear. Unfortunately nothing could calm them and women began to scream uncontrollably.

“Don’t be ridiculous, foolish mortals! You must listen well, for you are not safe here” Sarvophis pleaded.

“That’s the Hudson Monster! It is I’m sure of it!” cried voices from the crowd.

Several photographers pushed through the crowd and began to snap pictures of the beast, the flashes blinding him, forcing him to grimace and turn his head away.

“He’s huge! I thought it would be a hoax! This is unreal!” shouted an elated photographer.

“Will you stop that!” Sarvophis raged, throwing himself towards the photographers, bearing his teeth. The photographers leapt back into the crowd, while some of the crowd ran onto the tracks of the subway and began to flee into the tunnels.

One of the photographers dropped his camera as he leapt to safety, which Sarvophis promptly destroyed with a strike from his tail. His heavy and angered breathing made more citizens flee, while others stood still as stone, their gaze fixed on the beast’s furious eyes.

“You fools! You imbeciles! Your city has been destroyed, millions of lives have been lost, and all you care about is securing your own personal fame?! Pitiful mortals! It was wasted effort trying to save you from this hell.”

Sarvophis turned and began to head towards the exit of the subway. He was beginning to squeeze through the rubble filled stairs when he heard a voice from the crowd.

“Thank you”

Sarvophis turned his head back to see a young woman holding her baby tight, standing ahead of the crowd and facing the serpent, unafraid. Sarvophis smiled, and slithered closer to her.

“Of course… Not all of you are like them” he said.

Sarvophis lifted his head and examined the crowd, moving his head from side to side, estimating their number.

“Who here wants to survive this? I can’t lead you all to safety, but I can give you some advice. Split into two groups, the women and children with a lot of the men will form one group. These will head through the tunnels of the subway and follow them to safety. The road will be long and hard, but you do NOT want to be above the surface. Not only would the dust kill you, but it will alert those responsible to your survival. No… Follow these to the edges of New York City, and then get the hell out.”

“And what of the second group?” said a strong, well built man.

“The second group need to head in the opposite direction, gather any similar groups in other subway platforms, and then send them all to do what the first group must do.” Sarvophis ordered.

“All of the platforms?! Have you any idea how long that will take, Mr. Hudson?!” cried another citizen.

“I’m just a monster… What do I know about subways?” Sarvophis smirked.

“It is the only option you have. Lives depend on it. It probably will not be long until relief arrives anyway. I highly doubt that the destruction of the great city of New York will go unnoticed, especially since a lot of it had live coverage worldwide.” He continued.

“We’ll do what we can. And what of you?” shouted a man, forming the second group with several others.

Sarvophis turned and began to leave the subway.

“New York is home to nothing now. It has been cleansed.”

“Cleansed?! My house was up there! My family are all dead!” cried a man from the crowd.

Sarvophis turned his head once more towards them.
“And I am going to make sure that things do not get out of hand like that again. Just… Wherever you go make sure you stay out of New Jersey”.

While the survivors grouped themselves together, said goodbye and split into opposite directions through the tunnels of the subway, Sarvophis finally made his way through the rubble and back out to the surface. Whether it was his logic, his senses, or commonsense is unclear, but the wise serpent knew that Jersey City would be the next victim of the Pure Ones’ cruelty.

Koodori
A Dancer's Resolve

Koodori looked at Aria as his mind drifted away for the moment. The current situation was not worrying him anymore and that just showed how much he had changed. He went from distressed and scared too much more calm and collected. He was still worried for the guy that was one of the people that stayed behind.

He then tapped on Aria's shoulder for a brief second to get her attention.

"Aria? Your powers.. they link to mine somewhat don't they. My dance and your song."

He then smiled at her and stroked her cheek gently with his warm and gentle hand.

"Let's support the rest with what we have okey? I'll always be by your side sis."

He then closed his eyes and tilted his head to the right with the massive grin on his face. Yet he knew that deep within him there was a power of dance that was not meant for support, but for destruction. Keeping this too himself was one of the things that he had to make sure never comes out too the rest of them, not yet.

Crystal
A change of mindset.

Crystal kept more too herself now than she had ever done. She was not flaunting her bust or beauty, but instead her eyes were colder and darker than before. Her ego and cocky state of mind had increased so much after the fight with the wooden enemy that she thought of herself as a god.

She could not stop thinking of the fact that she did not need anyone or anything. Her powers were enough for her. She did care for the people, but if they did die then she could just kill the enemies with a click of a finger.

Shogun -holding the backseat role-

Having watched everything unfold, Shogun still wasnt quite sure what to make of all this, nor was she sure about any of the group, her time would come to act, but for now she was content to just follow and watch how the events unfold. Dusting herself off she gave the group a look over and prepared to follow on, keeping one hand clutched tightly to her katana...just in case.

Talon -missed opportunities...a miserable failure-

"Dammit where did he go?"
The Talon snapped...realising that his prey had eluded him, putting more focus onto the much larger Pure one....

"I....failed...."

"YES YOU HAVE...FOR THE LAST TIME YOU FOOLISH IGNORANT WHELP!!" A sudden booming voice came from behind him...the talon slowly turned and was face with a more spectre-like Raym...as if Raym was struggling to maintain his form..

"Master...I.."

"NO BUTSSSS I SHALL NOT TOLERATE THIS FAILURE....I NEED A BODY AND YOURSSS WILL DO NICELY....Goodbyeeee my former aprenticcceee" with those words Raym plunged himself into the Talon's chest causing a great pain to surge through the Talon...his eyes darkened as his very soul was pushed out....strangley the body began to undergo a transformation....a dazzling blue light blasted forth...

Once the light had settled...a new being emerged...clad in a grey hooded cloak and dull armor with glowing white eyes....a large steel chain banded across its left arm and a large frost-bound blade clenched tightly in the right hand.

"So....it seems you were the host of my true body afterall...at least now it wont go to waste"
Raym muttered as he looked over himself, realising he had regained his true form..."Finally...I can be rid of those miserable brats once and for all....and after they fall...so shall the gods themselves!!" Raym mused before cracking out with a manical laughter that rang across the night skies, cracking with thunder as if to protest the rebirth of one of the greatest threats mankind has ever known...

Darquewillow was more than angry at herself once she arrived in New York City. Judging by the looks of the place, her masters had done a bang up job of destroying most of the city. She knew it wasn't her fault that the jump to this planet landed her a couple of hundred miles north, but it was her fault that she didn't get here faster. However, because of this she was able to find out about “music”, “headphones” and “MP3 players”.

Those of which her masters would have claimed was a waste of time. However, she was able to incorporate them into her fighting style, making her moves almost impossible to detect unless one knew what she was listening to. Also, because of an accidental detour, she was able to find The Voynich Manuscript, which she used as a medium to create any weapon she could possibly want. On the plus side, it was a very interesting read.

Nevertheless, she was here in New York City, and she was late. The Masters would not be happy about this. Especially Taylana, thought, Darquewillow. She didn't want to disappoint her most of all. Not only because she was somewhat scared of her, but because she also had what the humans would call a “crush” on her. Maybe, if she could spin her absence into a good thing, such as “learning the psychology of the humans would provide an advantage against them because she now knew how they thought.”

Yes, that may work... However, Taylana, or any of the Masters for that matter could just use the excuse that they're already better than the humans, stronger than the humans, and have no need for that information. Still, she had to find them.

Kneeling down, she placed her palm to the ground and closed her eyes. Hoping she could sense some kind of large burst in magic usage. After about 5 minutes, she felt it, and it was... Underground? “Stranger things have happened I suppose...” Walking off towards the direction of the magic useage, the only thought on Darquewillow's mind was whether or not the Masters would punish her.

Ashe

Luckily for Ashe, she was a trained warrior and a small package like the boy in her arm and the short jog was nothing in comparison to training. Within a minute, the armoured archer had caught up to the group of small children (Do remember she is over a few hundred years old and stand over 2 m). From what she could see, there had been a bit of a scuffle and they did not come through quite cleanly. In fact, the archer boy seemed to have clonked out and everyone else seemed to have suffered some damage.

Quite a scuffle you guys have gotten into.

Ashe had leapt from a Bentley, crushing the hood and landed dead center of the group onto the bonnet of a Hummer, making a resounding ring of metal on metal. A glance around saw that they had two new friend with them. Still, she needed to find someone to deal with the boy's wound.

Anyone know some first aid? This boy's rather battered.

I...i might be able to do something. Lay him there.... please.

Odd as it may seem as she had pointed to a rather large car and was out of view of the group, but it was probably trying to keep the others from seeing something too grizzly. As the girl got to work Ashe was about to get a report from the group when she felt a ping. A familiar ping

H! That energy.... Hey, i need to check on something right now. I'll be back, or go on ahead. ill track you guys down later.

With that, Ashe bounded off again, disappearing.

Lindt

I...i might be able to do something. Lay him there.... please.

Lindt thought it was best to be polite to the new arrival. After all, she was a bloody giant bristling with weapons...and she looked like she could use them very well. She laid the wolf boy behind a taxi she had pointed out. Of course, seeing a wolf boy was startling, but she was adamant in trying something and the less people knew about it, the better.

Okay...let see....

Hidden from view, Lindt began probing the body for the wounds. She found many of the exterior ones and was glad that there didnt seem to be any compound fractures. If what she had believed in was right, then she should be able to clean him up completely.

Okay, close eyes....relax...visualise.... and concentrate.

It was tougher than it seemed, but definitely there, at her fingertips, she felt a tug. Her heart skipped a beat, but Lindt quelled it quickly. The tug became stronger and stronger and being a bit worried, opened her eyes. An aura of white light encased the wolf boy. It was bright and its light leaked over the taxi, lighting up the tunnel a bit. She was scared something bad was happening and was abut to pull away when it stopped abruptly. The tunnel fell back into darkness. Stunned, she sat on her butt for a few seconds before scrambling close to the boy. His wounds were gone, however, he still remained unconscious.

Better than nothing, but what the bloody hell was that.

With all her
strength, she lifted him up to his feet, draped a hand over her shoulder and walked back towards the main group.

I think he's fine now, but he still hasnt woken up. Can someone carry him?

It was a stupid question. Everyone here
were young and unlikely able to carry the wolf boy indefinitely.... besides her, the commando woman that arrived just before the armour lady.

Can you carry him? He's heavy!

Lindt asked, taking Saul to Shogun.

Brunhilde

As she expected, the door did not lead to the tunnel, but another corridor. It seemed that they had went into the wrong service corridor. It was going to take more effort in finding their way around. A familiar energy pinged her mind and she smiled. Moments later, Ashe materialised right in front of her. It was amusing to see the giant warrior with her giant bows in the tiny corridor.

Ma'am. How good to see you. I was worried of your safety.

Do you think a measly attack like that is capable of killing me? Or do you perceive me as that weak?

It was a friendly sting to Ashe
.

Regardless, i feel something in the tunnel. Let us search for it.

Yes Ma'am. And it is good to see you too, Valkyrie Ellie.

Ellie-An Old Ally

"Likewise, but I suggest we get moving now." Ellie said, looking ahead to assess the situation, with her sword in hand. "What ever is in this tunnel is not good. We need to find out what it is. Let's go." Ellie headed down the tunnel, prepared to fight whatever it is that all three of them were sensing. "Hopefully, what we're sensing is an ally and not the other way around. Not that it's a problem, I doubt there is anything we cannot take care of."
