Can we use renders as well, or does it have to be just text???
 
You can use whatever you want, including renders, but the main focus of the sig should be the text, since that's the theme and all. xD
 
Sorry for the delay from me this week guys. I'll announce winners and put up guidelines when my internet and PC decide to co-operate.

Escaped murderers and rapists is not an appropriate concept. :mokken:

I was thinking of something more abstract...renders are starting to annoy me now... I might experiment with some transparency stuff, i dunno...
 
Do the entries for the B/W theme have to be purely B/W? Can there be an odd splash of colour?

For example, would a tag like this be an acceptable entry?

Black and White means black and white only I'm afraid.

Sorry, I would have gotten here sooner, but considering I've been fainting all over the place and just found out I have hypoglycemia. I'm sure you understand that I haven't been entirely with it atm.


Also, you could have just asked me the question in the SB last night, Kira. Or directed me to the thread.

In future, please try not to sound so snappy just because we haven't gotten around to answering a question straightaway. If you were really that bothered about the deadline, there is a Pm function. We're not going to bite if you direct us to a thread or ask again via pm. Sometimes it might even be faster to get an anwer. :)

anyways, first time competator here and I have a question. Hoe flexable are these competition themes? What I mean is, for black and white, although I already submitted (and dont plan on submitting another for obvious reasons) is it possable to take a render and put it in greyscale? and if it were nature, could there be civilazation minorly? you get what I'm asking
 
There was no snappiness. Kira and I we're just asking and it is getting close to the deadline. There was no intent to be rude.

You can do that if you wished too, Squee. So long as the overall image was black and white, with no colour, it would qualify. =]

It'd be interesting to see what you could come up with, if you do enter Mits ^^
 
As much as I love the theme, I'm not entering...well, maybe not entering. I needs practice for a while :gonk:
 
I hate it when I see something in my head, and I can never manage to pull it off when I make a tag. I had such a cool idea for my 'danger' tag but when I looked for resources I just failed epic fashion. :ffs:

Does anyone else go through the same thing? :ness:

Yeah I know what you mean, I looked up the danger theme and thought "This would be cool" And Imagined a really good one! But then I try to look for things that would make the tag just like my mind pictured it to be... no dice.:sad3:

Go for it. :monster: Last week then threads went up and there was a late entrant and Stevie Nicks just posted letting everyone know there was an extra entry.
