Reviving the Final Fantasy Clans.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to revive the Final Fantasy clans section, so before I really get to work on it... I was curious just how many of you would really be interested in joining the Clan?

Here is how it would kinda work...


First of all we will have one central theme every month. It could be for a certain character, like Squall or Cloud, or for one game, or could be for a series, X/X-2 or CC Series...

Secondly, there will be about 4 competitions every month (more or less depending on the theme.) Not all competitions will be 100% centered on the theme, but most of them will.

These competitions can be anything from short stories, to GFX art, or even simply finding pictures. There will be a quiz every month that will be about the theme. We will also have a quiz every month about the theme.


We will start with 2 teams. Each team can elect a captain and a team name. Each competition will earn the team points, from people simply doing the competitions to actually winning the competition

at the end of each month the team that earns the most points will get a prize (for now this will be gil, I will try and talk to mods/admins to see if we can hand out anything else in the future.)


So who would seriously be interested in joining?
 
Hell yeah. That sounds brilliant! I would definitely join in.

This kind of thing really boosts forum activity and creates great comradship between the community. Personally, I would love to see this restarted. :inlove:
 
I'm in, Shace-o-Rama. This sounds like a fantastic idea. Should be really fun. :)
 
I would also be interested in having the clans back up and running! I remember participating in some competitions when FF Clans were active (and failing at many quizzes... lol).

I'm really pleased to hear this. I loved the Clans when they were going strong (especially the one on one battles). I hope it works out and the Clans get a lot of activity like they did before.
 
Count me back in. I was sad to see it go when I returned. I hope it wont be dead again!
 
Alright glad to see we have some interest, I will try to get something started for the middle of August (give me and the mods some time to get things organized) wont be a full month, and hopefully we get more interested people soon :)

Hey thanks for putting the interest back into the clans. The original FF Clans were made by me and sadly just slowly became inactive. I am all for being a part of this as I would like to see the idea I had imagined get the support and activity it deserved. I am willing to help you out where ever its needed :)
 
I just want to say, good on you, Shace. It's really inspiring seeing people take initiative and try and give things a whirl. Things might not work out, but at least you'll try before you drop dead. Honestly encourage actions like that.

While I will not be leading / or participating in the Final Fantasy Clans at this point, I do want you to know if you need help with anything, give me a shout and we'll work something out. :D

Don't. :D The GFX Clans and FF clans could collaborate sometime if we have the ideas and resources. Don't count us out. :D

Banners and the likes for Clans - you're in the right area. :D

Again guys thanks for all the support, hopefully will have the area up and running sometime this weekend (or early next week) then we can officially start signing people up to the chocobo coral! (extra .00001 point if anyone can tell me what FF that came from :sneaky: )
 
Sorry for no new update guys, I'm waiting on word from the admins. Don't think I've forgotten already!

I will hopefully hear word sometime this weekend of not early next week (before the 1st I hope. )

Hey guys, I will be closing this for now. The clans require a lot more planning so that we don't make a repeat of inactivity like last time. :) Clans will always have issues with inactivity anyway, but we need to ensure that the few individuals planning this will be ready to combat inactivity and not give up on the spot. This takes a lot of dedication and effort.

The staff and I have decided that we'll let the FF mods, .Mosh (credit for the FF Clans idea) and Shace take care of the planning, though we'll be sure to lend a helping hand when needed.

So as of now, please be patient while we work out the kinks. This will take a few weeks. We can't give an exact date for sign-ups, but we'll be sure to keep you all posted. Thank you all for your interest.
