That's considering you have a lawn.
We used to live in a townhouse that had the tiniest patch of lawn. It was good because it saved a lot of time.
Then when we moved to our new house we had grass everywhere.
Definitely something I overlooked when I applied for tenancy here.
In Winter it isn't so bad. The grass just stays the same length for ages. You won't have to mow for around five weeks.
Now that it's Summer, the damn lawn needs a trim just about every week! As soon as you cut it it grows straight back up within three days!
We try to extend mowing it to two weeks so that not all our weekends are consumed with this annoying task. However, we've left it for three weeks now and it's pretty long.
Oh and for the ladies, are you the type to get out there and help with the mowing?
I never used to be until I moved out of my parents. Steve would often use the whipper snipper because it scared the crap out of me, and I would just use the lawn mower and do the middle while he was going along the edges.
I've learnt that the afternoon is always the best time to do it. If you do it in the middle of the day you just get hot, burnt and frustrated and the whole process takes twice as long. >.<
I have to do ours this afternoon.
