Guy had his show cancelled and fired from Fox for actually standing the hell up and say something against the system.

Good for him, your thoughts?

He got fired for this? It's not surprising but that is shitty. We need more people like him on telly, I say. U.S., UK, Australia... everywhere really. Bitches in suites keepin' the real people down, the swines.

Cant see the vid on this comp, but yeah you cant say things that can damage certain companies etc.

Those with power hold the strings. Even those with power may have people above them. People behind the show.

Illuminati man!

Theses are a lot of "what ifs"...But I don't think he should have been fired though. He was just expressing his own opinion and trying to open people's minds up. But I'm not surprised he got fired for it. A lot of the government people around here in DC are two faced. Those with power will do anything they can to protect it. - I know I would xD

what if

well

if people can get past, can they get future

I am not really a politics guy, but I really do not see what he did wrong. besides saying what if enough times to make me strangle a puppy :monster:

Things like this have been happening for the past 5-10 years. Its becoming increasingly more blatant & worse as time passes.

I liked the world better when people were outraged over Clinton and his intern. Back when people had standards and somewhat cared about things.

Now, everyones desensitized, poker faced and apathetic & think not giving a shit about anything and letting the government and corporations walk all over them & trample their rights and freedoms is something to be proud about. :ohshit:

We'll all be slaves, eventually. :elmo:

Been ALOT longer than 5-10 years. Alot longer.

People were only ever putting on their outrage with Clinton anyway. Secretly they were thinking "man, what a dude". Standards? lolocaust :trollita:

i have to question his intelligence. it's quite public knowledge how politically influenced the fox network is, and how biased they are when reporting the news. given that, what did he think he would achieve by saying these things on a fox show?

Wow. My brother said he was just on Fox though? I'm really confused. I always liked him. :/ any news sources about this??

This guy got fired for speaking the truth. I also believe everything he "what if'd" in that video.

Politicians and US Presidents are nothing but muppets

If he wanted to stick it to the man, then why take a job with Fox News, who are notorious for being right wing and partizan?
I couldn't be bothered to watch the whole video, but I didn't hear him mention one fact. So what he was saying was bullshit. Next time he would have been talking about chem trails, or flouride in the water for mind control, it's all complete shit.

I think... this sums it up. :elmo:

edit: I think it can be proven beyond a doubt. Its merely a question of whether or not people have a responsibility or an obligation to keep things in check. In theory, its government by the people, for the people. In reality, there are many who would convince the world that they should be able to do whatever they want in lyfe, without consequences. That they should be able to let the wealthy and the government do whatever they want, whenever they want, and that a vague sense of entitlement is necessitated to fix things. That individuals shouldn't play a role or attempt to exert a positive influence.

Also, there are many for whom the government is a coping mechanism. They believe the government exists to prevent them from thinking about issues like the economy or social programs. And that the government is wholly and entirely incapable of evil. Hence, their kneejerk reaction is typically to brand anyone who criticizes or disagrees with government policy a "tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist" and dismiss everything they say despite the evidence, facts or logic they may present to support their point of view.

Of course, it makes perfect sense that both of these viewpoints are manufactured and represent an agenda. Convince the world the natural order of things is for citizens to never question the government or to engage in hero worship and elevate the government to a level where its considered above criticism. Then, you're free to exploit and abuse to the fullest extent as people in general are unable to psychologically conceive of a higher standard.

Wouldn't it be funny if the thinkspeak of 1984 became a reality? Then again, maybe not so funny.

Post count section, gentlemen. Please maintain the status quo.

Done.

It wasn't easy figuring out what to type there. Somehow I managed to post random words in sequence to make it appear as if I posted something coherent. Don't be fooled. :ohshit:

Oh how I miss George Carlin so. :(

I didn't know who George Carlin was... until I saw his rant posted somewhere. FML~ :ohshit:

I've seen this guy's show before and he's very, uhm...odd. Not because he's weird in the way he behaves but rather the subjects he chooses. Most of what he discusses (that I saw) are conspiracy theories and whatnot, does that mean they are true? No, but it doesn't mean they're false either.

He's toed the line quite often, a line that many people do not discuss openly. I'm willing to bet that the reason he was fired is not because of the whole subject of speaking out against "the corrupt gears in the evil machine that is our government" but rather the fact that he blatantly stated that the media has ignored them; FOX may have taken offense to the fact he said they ignored him for that reason. Is that true? I don't know, but it's my own theory of the matter. It's never healthy to beat on the people broadcasting your show.

Good for him, your thoughts?

Mod Edit - Hey there. Since this is a post count section could you please put elaborate your post? Quoting and posting an image is regarded as spammy. Thanks.

Ahh... I can't be arsed to watch the video. But what I can tell you is that I saw Kitchen Nightmares last night, and some chick that worked at the restaurant got fired by the owner for asking "are you sure?". It wasn't within 5 minutes, but it was still crazy. Anyway, from the other posts, it seems like he was trying to stand up to the man or whatever, which I guess is a.... Thing to do. I wouldn't do that unless there was some serious bullshit going on. But still.... Whatever helps your pride? :wacky: EDIT: The video doesn't work for me either. XD

Why are you posting in the thread then if your not gunna watch the video....the video that the thread is about. I know you want your 1000 posts but your letting the squad down. All us people who work hard for a good days post. Im afraid you lose your cool and respect points JK.

Btw the video dont work anymore with me but ive seen it. LIke Hal said if he wants to stick it to the man, so to speak why work for FOX. Unless he taking things apart from the inside. Which obviously he wasn't. People just dont do that. People like to get paid and Fox probably pay quite well. You piss someone off enough though and theyre gunna tell you eactly what they think. I wonder if hes working on tele now :hmmm: Good for him i say.
