What the title says. :P What is your favourite scent(s), and...why? Does this require a why? xD

I really like the smell of warm, fresh Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). :wacky:

May the scent of flowers protect you always! +rep for the first person who gets that reference.

Dad's cooking. Omnom nom nom nom! My personal favorites are Red Beans & Rice and Spaghetti. Oh and Gumbo or Shrimp & Squash.

How sad that it's been so long since my grandma passed away that I can't remember the smell of her kitchen. Even if I can't remember the smell, I do remember that it was mouth watering.

:gonk:Auhhhh I'm hungry.

I also like the smell of Cedar. I used to camp out in my old cedar robe. It was one of the big upright ones with two doors; just big enough for someone to hide in. Moth-free too. :lew:

I would prefer the smell of cow manure over flowers. XD
I grew up across the street from a farm, so cow poo doesn't stink to me. Flowers do. Something about plucked flowers just smells putrid to me. Skunks...also do not stink IMO.

Petrichor, which is the scent that comes after it rains on dry earth. I just really like it, it doesn't remind me of anything in particular it's just a really nice natural smell. Far better than any manufactured scent I think

Sage. Woodland. Wildflowers. There's something about that smell that's so peaceful. I recommend anyone who can get within a mile of a wild meadow to discover this scent for themselves as it's very remarkable. :ryan:

Oooh I love so many smells this is hard :hmmm:

Chocolate chip cookies in the oven is an amazing smell. I hate it though because you can't wait for them to stop baking and you just want to eat them right away :gonk:

Dryer sheets...I love the smell when you get laundry hot out of the dryer. I use the original Downy April fresh on my clothes ...the smell is so amazing :inlove:

Roses. When you get about a dozen of them for a gift they smell whatever room they are in nicely. I love roses.

I also like the smell after it rains...and the smell of fresh-mown grass in the summer.

Last would be the sandalwood vanilla candles that I buy for my house from Bath and Body Works or the Yankee store. The smell is amazing...and beachy. I always stock up whenever they have them on sale.

I like the smell of food. All food pretty much :|
Especially bacon, Fahitas, and meatloaf though.
I never woulda thought of this one if i didnt read mels post but i like the smell of freshly cut grass aswell. Petrol is another winner.

Amaretto, sex, my fingers after they have been on my guitar and Old Spice Swagger body wash/deodorant.

I guess I also like my febreeze Linen & Sky and the smell of a lot of foods, especially when on the grill.

Fingers stink after too much guitar playing. Specially on the cheaper nickel wound strings. You get that horrible tinny/metal smell. Ive had green fingertips many times from the dye in them.
BBQ smells amazing aswell i forgot to say.

This grape/lemongrass essential oils soap I buy by the pound at a store here. I wash frequently because I'm weird like that and because I'm always handling stuff that gets my hands mucky and they dry easily... I tell ya, this smell is divine after some hard work or when I get home after a very long day hopping buses and putting up with everyone. It's epic. They recently started producing bath fizz-balls of essential oils from the same batch of materials and I tried them... and holy noodles is that stuff awesome. I could get stoned in the tub with that stuff, haha.

I also love the earthy smell of rain. It's mind blowing. My favorite has to be the smell in the air around my house after summer showers. The pines and their sap just fill the air with this really soothing, piny smell. I could eat it if smell were edible :wacky:

And uh, I also love the smell of KFC but even more so... Caramel Chicken from my local Far East restaurant. God, I dunno what spice they put in that stuff but it smells divine |D I can't wait to skip to the mall on Friday and get me a plateful :gonk:

I love the smell of Napalm in the morning.
But I like the smell of petrol, that smells quite nice, but it is very strong.
I also like the smell of a nice steak frying with pepper, that is a very nice smell. But only if it is a rare steak.
I also like the smell of vanilla, that is also very nice.
I also have some candles that smell like Chanel Number 5 when they burn and they are very nice too.
mhm aha.

Even though it is just another food, I thought of something else I love the smell of: Pizza fresh out of the oven~

I of course like the scent of good smelling flowers, and as they are completely natural, it is very calming and relaxing... ^_^

I love the smell of rain. It actually just rained here, and I have all my windows open and there's a lovely breeze coming and going. :ryan: I wish I could bottle that up.

I think smell is very important to me. I have a cupboard full of scented candles and I light one up once I get home. I also love the smell of soap and shampoo, coffee and roses.

I like the smell of coconut. Vanilla too. I have hand sanitizer that's a mix of the two. Take's me quite a bit of restraint to keep from drinking it. Although, I imagine I'd be healthier for it. Or I'd vomit. Either way my stomach would be pretty cleaned out. :hmmm:

gasoline. Definitely one of my favourites. I know, I know, i probably sound like a deranged stoner trying to get high on it, but i just like the way it smells.

Cinnamon, Pine, the smell of freshly cut grass... Subtle lavender! :) Vanilla scented candles, flapjacks, cookies and brownies in the oven! :)

:hmmm:

Like some people have said, petrol smells amazing :wacky: I feel like such a stoner when I get to the servo and take in a big wiff of the petrol smell and enjoy it.

Roasted coffee, love the smell of coffee, it reminds me of my childhood and it just smells really good.

The smell of men's lynx deodorant on a man :ohoho: The Deodorant on its own is nice but when it's on a guy /smug it's very nice.

Puppies!! The smell of puppies is so cute :rage:

I think that is all :hmmm: besides the usual nice things like strawberries and vanilla and coconut etc.

Apple Cinnamon, smells like Christmas and relaxes me greatly. I have several scented candles that smell like that in my room.

Peppermint. Wave peppermint under my nose and I turn into a raving lunatic. Strong mint smells in general I absolutely adore, and whilst I can't stand eating it, I quite like the smell of chocolate as well, something I've always thought is fairly odd about me.

Candle smoke, as well. I tend to make blowing out any candles lit in this house my job, just so I can smell the smoke that comes from them afterwards as a result. Same with match smoke. xD

I quite like the smell of certain types of tobacco, as well...not the smoke, but the substance itself. My father smokes a pipe, and he keeps some of his tobacco in his bag...it's a combination of kentucky nugget and black cherry, and it smells absolutely gorgeous. /not a smoker or drug addict or anything :olivia:

Oh, and I love the smell of a new game I've just unwrapped, as well. When you open the case and you get that plastic, new smell inside it for a little while :ryan:

I love it when Steve cooks food with garlic in it. :gonk:

It smells so good. :gonk:

I also love when I'm walking to my car after work and can smell KFC. XD I just stop for a minute and inhale. XD

Oh and the smell of strawberry chupa chups! They are just so sweet and yummy smelling!

I love it when I walk into the shopping centre of a morning before work and I can smell the coffee at the coffee club. I hate the taste of coffee but for some reason I adore the smell of it. <3

I love the smell of sunscreen because it always makes me think of when I was a kid and we would go the beach. <3 Hardly go to the beach anymore and it's like 15 minutes away. :sad3:

Oh and Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. I adore that fragrance. <3
