Given the way you can actually just see the monsters meandering about minding their own business in this game, didn't you ever feel kinda bad when you blew them up/beat them to death/poisoned them/stabbed them/etc.?

True, a lot of them are mean and a lot of them are ugly too. But there are plenty of nice critters about that the game allows you to kill.

That was pretty funny. But no, they're there for EXP and goodies and I will do whatever it is in my power to poach all of those items from their cold, lifeless carcasses. :gasp:

Glad to see you have a heart though. (y)

I did feel kind of bad for killing the bunnies in the Giza plains. :lew:

I actually stopped killing them once I realized they heal you though. I also avoided killing the cactuars because they were adorable. D=

The majority of the other monsters weren't as cute and/or they attacked me first so I had no problem maiming/killing them.

I'm cold and heartless, I killed everything in sight :mokken:

I even chased bunnies down, killing them as they desperately tried to escape :rage:

It was the Icthons (the weird little Pirhanas with the jutted lower jaws) that made me feel guilty. :sad3: I thought they looked quite cute. -__-

Giza Rabbits and Cactuars not so much. I sometimes felt bad killing Elementals, as well as the less stabby stabby chocobos.

That's another thing. You can just wander up to and slaughter sleeping Chocobos. Not only Chocobos but various other defenseless creatures too.

I regretted picking a fight with the Wild Saurian in the Dalmasca Estersand, but that wasn't really because I felt sorry for it...

Those black chocobos in - where was it?- Ozmone Plains or something like that? For some reason I wasn't aware at first that they were enemies until Balthier and Basch slaughtered one of them as dictated by their active Gambits. When that happened, I couldn't help but pull a sad little face. I felt a little bad. In Tactics A2 and Revenant Wings though, I had no qualms with killing those pesky enemy Moogles.

The only thing I don't like killing is chocobo's I don't even like to hurt them as for everything else I don't care how I kill them as long as I get plenty of EXP.

I always kill anything that is cute just in case, appearances can be deceiving so I always hope that one of the cutest monster's in a game would be one of the strongest.

I wonder if I'm the only one that thinks that the wandering Elementals looked pretty innocent. I never really bothered them unless I unintentionally pissed them off by casting any kind of magic, then I'd have to kill them because they are brutal. Same thing goes with the Entites. I hardly bother them since they don't bother me (except for that last one you find in the Pharos of Ridorana that's bad from the start.).

I've had a lot of Entites/Elementals attack me without any provocation that I was aware of, so I don't usually feel bad killing those; sometimes I'll attack them first to head them off if I think my party can handle it at the time. However, I always try not to kill any of the other "friendly" monsters, since even though they're just game creatures it still seems mean :lew: Especially the sleeping ones, like the big frogs (Iguion?) on the Phon Coast, and the little tiny onion and bunny things that wander around being cute. Every once in a while I'll even feel bad killing something hostile, like the huge red dragons (can't remember the name) in the Cerobi Steppe--not are they only kind of cute (in a dragonish way), but I can always see them from a great distance, and I feel bad sneaking up on them :/

I started off by ignoring them, but after awhile I decided yo just kill them for he hack of it, and that includes those darn bunnies. Even though they heal you I still just slaughter 'em. Sitting around waiting for them to heal me just wasted my time.

The last time I attacked an innocent and defenseless animal in a village he called his friends who came in great numbers and nearly pecked me to death. Since then I leave innocent animals alone. Monsters on the other hands I show no mercy! :monsmash:

I always feel bad killing the bunnies, especially when they are trying to run away :gonk:

Needs to be done for the bestiary though, it's like taking the phoenix downs from that nest at Corel, I still can't bring myself to do that hahaha

Entites don't seem so innocent when they're stalking your Level 12 party all the through the Sandsea and casting Firaja on them. :rage:

The only thing I felt bad for killing were those Icthions in the Garamsynthe Waterway. They were so innocent. T_T

HAHAHAHAHA! This exact same thing. :wacky:

I totally agree with the first post. It's just so heartbreaking to kill the cute ones. I chased after the bunnies. I even found the tomato-headed ones kind of cute. I ignored them, until I found out they drop decent loot most of the time.

I'll always feel guilty for still killing the bunnies that tried to run away. :rage:
