I think British accents are very attractive. I like Russian accents until my head begins to hurt, mainly from females. Australian is also quite interesting to listen to. Accents I can't understand or identify are not my interest, though. I also like light accents, especially very light Canadian-french accents since I live in that type of place.

I think British accents are very attractive.

Please define what you consider a "British" accent to be, or from what part of Britain you are talking about.

Trust me, if you lived where I live, the way some people talk would make your brain hurt.

I dated girl with a northern english accent for 2 years, spent alot of time with her family as well, but now whenever i hear one it drives me insane...
probably because it reminds me of that vile woman... :S

I love it when folk say they like British accents, it's like, dude, we don't all sound the same :lew:

And bog off Jim, you know I have the voice of an angel :mokken:

And to think, I love you accent...actually...I think it's just your voice, the monotone, it fucking creases me up. ''We're sitting with a booolshitter, Kelly'' :lew: I like that it's not proper ridiculous so I can understand it. Lew, Dave and Daves pals the same. That weegie in that shop though, That I did not like hahahahahah :lew:

Bowly has a lovely accent, proper posh. Luke as well, not sure how he got a nice voice, living round these parts....

And I like Geordie, even when I can't understand it, but I'm biased, my mums from up that end, though she don't have the accent, I've never known her with it, but me aunty carolyn still lives up there. It wouldn't surprise me if in the future we moved back up there tbh. I doubt I'd everrrrrr pick the accent up myself though. I've lived the area I am now for about 15 years....longer infact, and even though my accents not as thick as it used to be, I most definately still have that Oldham/Rochdale accent :8F: I slip in and out on occassion with some words mind

I'm partial to the typical midwestern American accent 'cause I think it sounds normal. :lew:
Yay, I sound normal. :hmph:

Irish, Scottish, Austrailian, and British. All of them I don't mind as long as I can understand what the hell you're saying. :andry:

And...I have no fucking clue as to a particular regional British accent I like. I'll have to get back to that once I return from England in May. :hmmm:

Wait...Okay, put it this way: I like Damon's and I like Kelly's. There you go. :mokken:

Irish, Scottish, Austrailian, and British. All of them I don't mind as long as I can understand what the hell you're saying. :andry:

No one should ever have a problem with understanding Australian accents. I wouldn't even say that we have an accent. It's like the plainest sounding thing ever. No edge to it. XD

Kiwis are the ones you gotta look out for. They miss all their vowels.

It's like, "Did you mean Pen or Pin?'

NO VOWELS! :gasp:

ugh the term british accent is so stuuuuuuuuuuuuupid :hmph:

i remember a geordie guy asking me if i had a lighter i thought he was asking me for a letter :gasp: i was like eh whut :gasp:

And bog off Jim, you know I have the voice of an angel :mokken:

i think i feel insulted :hmph:

it'll pass, but now you owe me another drink. :andry:

I like the Scottish and Australian accent and some of the British accent depend's on what part. I like most accent's as long as I can understand them.

Friend-Did you get direction's for the place
Me-Yeah
Friend-Well were is it
Me-I have no idea I got the direction's but I didn't understand them

Irish and Scottish accent has to be, by far, my favorite. They sound totally badass, I don't know why, but I could listen to someone with that accent talk all day. ^_^ But like someone else said, not to the point where I can't understand them -- that's not as badass.

Also, African accents -- there's a foreign exchange student from South Africa in my class, and she has a lovely buzzing (that's really the only word to describe it) accent that sounds really cool.

I think anyone with an accent that's different from my own is sexy- I'm not picky. The whole concept of meeting someone foreign is exciting. It means I get to learn something new!

I love the accent an Asian man gets when he learns English, and I swoon every time I watch Sukiyaki Western Django, I love watching the hot gun slinging bad dude speak.

I also love the Italian accent Italian men get when they speak English, its sexy as hell Ezio Auditore anyone?

What I think is really funny about accents is how you never realize that you actually have one until you go somewhere other than where you are from and realize how you stick out like a sore thumb. I personally have the "Midwestern" accent since thats where I'm from.

My preference in guys accents is the British one...just not the "Up up north" ones since I can't really understand what they are saying. Londoners and esp. my friend from Harwich in particular have the most delicious accents. I know a guy from Romania and his accent is really cute too :gasp:

I didn't realise my northern accent had returned till someone pointed it out to me :lew:

I just never notice a different in my accent when it changes :hmmm:

I am Australian, I feel that I sound normal. I don't think i sound too bogan but I have been told by people visiting from overseas that I do... yippee....not :jimberry:

Accents I love:
English,
irish,
Scottis,
Welch (hell yes I love this accent)
people from boson, america have haaaawt accents!!! want plz

Lol, funny question. I have a preference for Southern accents, but very mild forms of them. My ex was from Georgia and he had (IMO) one of the yummiest and cutest little Southern accents ever, he sounded like a total gentleman, no lie. I can't describe it but a guy from around the Bible Belt with an accent like that will make me giggle like a schoolgirl.

I'm also privy to falling for guys with Scottish, Irish, and British accents. Scouse isn't a particular favorite of mine but there's a certain charm that I think comes with people who hail from London. I think Scottish is yummy and Irish is adorable. Also Australian . . . yum, I blame Hugh Jackman and all of the other sexy Austalian blokes for doing that to me. Also I got an affinity for New Zealand accents because there was this hot boy who attended the college I went to and I just knew him as the New Zealander (I never remembered his name, stfu!). His accent was seeeexxyyyy and he was hot. Okay, I'm done. Lol.

I love the Irish accent! After listening to Sheamus talk for all these years, I've come to appreciate it. Arse and Fella said with an Irish accent will forever give me good memories. Thank you, Sheamus.

Another is the accent of Britishitude. It's fucking awesome. I just can't help but listen if there is somebody talking in a British accent. It's just too cool.
