Saw a similar thread only it was in the FFX catagory.

So I'm gonna start one here, where we discuss real life.

Where would you like to live?
Maybe Europe, or Asia?
More specific?

I myself would love living in Japan (Asia), maybe mostly in the Kansai prefecture.
Like Kyoto, Osaka or maybe Hyõgo ^^

Australia's becoming increasingly popular and I'm starting to see why. I'm becoming interested in living close to some form of beach community, like those you see in Australia or places like Miami. I like the idea of the freedom of the beach and ocean (despite rarely ever going there, possibly due to the SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURE OF THE UK :gasp:) and I can see myself popping off somewhere like that in the future.

If I could understand the language, Paris. Hands down. No questions asked. I've been told by a few people (who do travel a lot) that Paris is the most beautiful place they have ever been to, and the people there are ridiculously nice.
I would love to live in Paris (once again, if I understood the language -.-)

Australia. That's it.

It's the only place I'd want to live, I hate UK because it's shite tbh, the temperatures are dire and there's nothing vaguely interesting about this country. Australia on the other hand is the complete opposite, gorgeous weather, amazing wildlife even though that's not really important it has to be said I'd love to work with the sort of animals in Aussie land. The places are much better and visually much better to look at, get past the whole England-Aussie rivalry and the people are far nicer there.
Australia is just better than England in all aspects >.>

Australia would be too hot for me. But saying that, I'd love to live in New Zealand. Such a beautiful country. But then again, I love Canada and have a few friends out there. So that has just as great an appeal. But let's face it, anywhere is better than here in England.

Would love to own a house in both NZ and Canada.

It may be a bit insular of me, but I would rather live here than anywhere else.
New Zealand is spectacularly beautiful and has great beaches and great sports facilties. The only down side is that not many bands come to play here though that is changing, but I could always fly over to Australia to watch them if I wanted. however I wouldn't mind living in a huge city, like New York or London, I'm not too keen on places like Mumbai or Delhi. Perhaps somewhere in Scandinavia because apart from the temperature, the culture is quite similar to here. I'd hate to move anywhere with a less liberal attitude so that rules out most of the rest of the world.

If it wasn't so expensive and crime infested, I'd love to live in London. I've been there, and it's a really exciting place to be. I don't particularly mind English weather either. I don't mind the cold, and it never gets too warm. Plus, by living in some other part of the UK, you don't have to adapt to new shops or anything.

Although, I'd rather just live where I am now, it's a nice area with hardly any crime and it's not ridiculously expensive.

I'd love to live in America though, but I don't think I could leave my family and friends and move to another country.

I would argue that I could live almost anywhere and be happy... but my only real criteria is that the town/place I live isn't under constant attack from severe weather and is not incredibly poor or crime-ridden.

Having said that, I would prefer Chicago, anywhere in North Carolina, or London if I had my druthers.

I'd live in any of the major cities in the world. If I had to choose one, it'd most likely be London, closely followed by New York. San Diego isn't out of the question 'cause it's just perfect out here, but I'd like to live somewhere else amazing before I settle down here in Southern Cal.

In order:

1.) London
2.) New York
3.) Beijing
4.) Shanghai
5.) Tokyo
6.) Hong Kong
7.) Munich
8.) Berlin
9.) Rome
10.) Sydney

I really want to live in France, and more specifically Paris. Firstly it's probably the best way to become better at the language, but I just generally love French culture and think that if I went it'd be my favourite place in the world. I've only been to France briefly before, stopped there for breakfast once, but I long to really visit it properly and get to know some of the people there.

Second on the list would probably be Italy, particularly Rome or Florence as I've been to them before and thought they were incredibly beautiful cities. I'm not AS interested in Italian culture as I am French, but I still think it's a beautiful country. I'll need to get better at Italian though as so far my knowledge of the language will get me a taxi to a hotel where I can book a double room, but not much else. <_<

I also want to spend some time living somewhere German-speaking like Berlin or Vienna, but that's mainly to improve my German. Preferably Vienna though because it looks like an amazing city.

I'm relatively happy where I am at the moment since I know my city so well, but I wouldn't mind moving to Sydney. I think I'd also enjoy living in a city like London, Paris, Berlin or New York....somewhere big :monster:

I would love to go back too Italy!!! I want to get out of this shithole of Canada. Srsyly but Canada is just really bad especially when you live in quebec. I would love to live in Japan the most though. I would learn how to speak japanese which Im almost accomplishing. Yeah so Japan the most. What a dream it would be to live there. Oh and Im going back to Italy soon!!!

Hmmm, you know as much as i slag off this city to bits for being a junkie infested shit hole Aberdeen is my home and its probadly gonna be the place im always gonna return to no matter what, and Scotland really is a beautiful country, theres lots to see.
There are loads of places i would like to live for short periods of time, ie a few years. And they are as follows.

1 - Tokyo
2 - Dubai
3 - Amsterdam
4 - New york
5 - Prague

Thats just naming a few, im really interested by asian culture and its something i wanna experience someday. Whenever i see pictures of Tokyo i just sit their in awe, it looks like an amazing place.

Eww . . . Dubai? D: The heat is going to kill you and to be honest, you'll need a lot of money since you'd be a foreigner, anyway I would like to live in:

1. Umm . . . wherever Vik's lives. =P
2. Tokyo

I don't want to live in a place more like visit. >.>

He's not stupid, he's perfectly aware that I live in England. He's covering bases incase I move.

I want to live in Japan or China tbh. xD I'm so obssessed with Asian Culture that living .. well anywhere in Asia would suit me fine... once I learnt the language.

I'd drag Ahmed with me too, naturally. :monster:

I'm happy where I live at the moment to be honest, in Brisbane. I've considered moving further North of Queensland where it's warmer but that won't be for a while.

I wouldn't mind living in New Zealand for a while though. My mate is actually considering moving there permanently soon.

My next choice would be Sydney. I've heard that it's really good for shopping. XD

But yeah...I honestly can't see myself ever wanting to live permanently out of Australia. I have it too good here. Only 5 minutes from the best beaches. XD

I would like to go back to Japan...after traveling around a bit..
I also would like to visit Australia, too. But I will probably be working in the states.

We did say live.. right? I wouldn't move for shiznit, love where I live to be honest. If I were to move within the States though just because of the "people" I would say Wyoming, Cali, or North Carolina.

I am a big outdoors man.. speaking of which next weekend going white water rafting over in Gatlinburg, TN. I love me some rock climbing, I am like a monkey when it comes to climbing. Cali to learn to surf with my boys out west. North Carolina primarily because of the fresh air. Same goes for Wyoming, I love the open land.. the freedom.. but the cost without a job out there.. I could only imagine.

Now if I were to VISIT and just get a gander .. here are a few. Order has no relevance in this situation.

1) Japan - Bring me a translator and we would hit up all the damn sushi bars I could think of along with check out the latest technology.. (get me a copy of dissidia without getting it illegally)

2) Berlin, Germany or to be honest anywhere. I am of German decent partially (mom's side) and would love to drink myself retarded there.

3) Portugal - My buddies dad is from Portugal, he showed me some gorgeous pictures of the place and from what I hear a lot of people speak English over there.

4) Scotland/Ireland - I've seen some of the most beautiful scenery out of these two, and I would love to go to an Irish pub to get shit faced all weekend. Not to mention Ireland decent on the Dad's side.

5) Manchester, UK - I want to catch me a English Premier League futbol game and see some of my favorites play for the Reds. I am a hugggge fan, been so for a good while now, ever since I saw Schmiechel play keeper. Ronaldo can kiss my ass, he's only a temporary ringer, but Rooney's my boy! After the game would love to hit a pub and get my ass handed to me by a drunken Brit =).
