What was the last DVD you bought?

Cinderella

haha I haven't seen this cartoon in so long, it was one of my all time favourites as a kid though, I remember i had it taped on a tape along with dumbo and I used to watch the shit out of them!! So when I saw it had come out of Disney's 'Vault' I just had to buy it.
I wanted the bluray but my god they're so fucking expensive, so I just bought it as a regular DVD instead. I might actually watch it tomorrow. :griin:

House, season 6.

I cannot wait to sink my teeth into this thing. I loved it on the telly, but wasn't always there for the more important plot twists, so, yeah, even though I watched the wrenching last episode of this season on TV, now I'll see what led up to it.

I'm not really a movie person, but The last DVDs I bought were...

WWE Superstar Collection: Sheamus, Daniel Bryan & Zack Ryder

One disc each

Rating: PG

Man, These DVDs were great. I love WWE so this was pretty sweet. Best part was that they were under 10 bucks each. So I payed about 30 bucks for the three DVDs, shipped from Amazon. They were just matches, not sure if you guys want to read about that, but I very much enjoyed it. Got to relive some memories which is nice.

Overall Score: 10/10 :)

Paradise Kiss, season 1

Such stupid scene transitions and unnecessary close-ups, but I love Ai Yazawa's drawings and fashion designs.

I've bought a few DVD's and Blurays over the past few weeks.

Hercules Returns. My favourite Movie ever, I am surprised i never bothered to get this movie earlier. I had it on VHS for ages but yeah... thats a bit out dated now.
Austin powers trilogy boxset, no longer sold in stores so had to ebay it.
Serenity on bluray
Blues Brothers for mum
The Beach
Ace Ventura 1 and 2
Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (not that new shithouse one)

Wow... haha I forgot the rest.. but there were about 5 - 6 others haha

i got the oz boxset
i also got hercules returns (which was 11.99 just for the dvd :watching:)
and i got megamind after my mogjut Squidward suggested it. and that is a bluray. she assures me it will be better on bluray because the main characer is blue.

The first and last DVD I ever bought was the Chrono Crusade series, back when it was first released.

Because itunes doesn't want to put this on the US version, I had to buy the DVD for Final Destination 5.

...which ended up being a waste of money. I hope for no more Final Destinations. They should have stopped at the 3rd cause(IMO) that one was the best with a good finisher.

My parents got me the "WWE Attitude Era" DVD a few days ago. It was supposed to be my b day present, but they gave it to me early. I've only got to see the documentary part of it which, while very short, was still pretty damn awesome! I can't wait to get to watching the matches on it! A lot of rare matches from Raw and Smackdown that I haven't seen since the original air date (10, 11, 12, years ago)

I give the doc part of it a 8 out of 10. It could have been much longer and highlighted alot more, but ehh. I'm sure the matches will be awesome. The best part about the DVD is that the old WWF scratch logo is no longer blurred! :)

I bought The Lincoln Lawyer, Silent Hill Relevations, and whatever the last Resident Evil movie was. I'm a horrible junkie for sub par horror movies :( Lincoln Lawer was awesome, but the other two I haven't seen yet. I love movies and movie nights :ohoho:

I got the "CM Punk: Best In The World" DVD set with my own money at a fucking Wal-Mart in Long Island randomly. This was almost a week ago. This DVD has one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. It was really emotional. I do not regret that purchase at all. Super long and emotional doc, plus 30 minutes of extra stories, plus 2 discs worth of matches, and I was one happy Ant on that day. But! It didn't stop there! I got lucky at K Mart later in the day and found the new John Cena DVD in the bargain bin for 5 bucks! I totally bugged my Dad until he got it for me. XD

I bought the movies Blitz and te Legend of the Guardians- The owls of Ga'hoole this last weekend.

Blitz has Jason Statham in it and is supposed to be set in the UK and is about this cop who is after this cop killer. It looks really decent and I'm suprised I haven't heard of it before because most of Jason's stuff is pretty heavily advertised when it comes out :lew: I love action movies so I'm sure I'll love this when I watch it.

The Legend of the Guardians I haven't seen before but I've heard good things about. I got it for $7 on blu ray new so I thought it was a really good deal. I haven't gotten around to watching it yet but hopefully I will tonight, it looks good :ohoho:

Wreck it Ralph
Love this movie, I am so happy it's finally out on bluray. I've seen it twice in the cinema and once on a plane flight and it never gets old. I'm going to watch it tonight :D

Cabin in the Woods
Hilarious movie, not what you'd expect. I was so weary about watching it at first but I'm so glad I did and am happy to pay money to own it.

Dark Shadows
Never seen this movie but it was in a 2 for $25 deal with Cabin in the Woods so I picked it up. Not a Johnny Depp fan but hopefully this movie is enjoyable enough and keeps me interested.

I also got all of these but am too lazy to write about them:

i bought star trek (as in the one directed by jj abrams) on blu-ray. i haven't seen the first one, because i've never really been a star trek fan. i think i've only ever watched maybe one episode in my whole life, but by the sound of it i'd really enjoy this. i'm a big abrams fan anyway, so i've no doubt i will. i also wanted to see it before the new one is out. i got a really nice slip cover edition that i'd never seen before. it's pre-owned so the slip cover is a little battered, but not so bad that i wouldn't want to own it

Django Unchained
Steelcase collectors edition.

I fucking love this movie. I have been waiting so long for it to come out on DVD. It technically doesn't come out until the 6th but I have preordered the collectors edition so I do not miss out on it. It should arrive by the 6th or 7th anyway it's no big deal. The collectors edition comes with a nice comic book too.

Total Recall and Dream House....oh and Machete so I can be prepared for the second upcoming movie :D

I bought...

The Other Guys - I saw this in Asda for only £3! :O It's such a great film. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are awesome in it, and so are The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson... and Michael Keaton... and Steve Coogan. I watched this online quite some time ago on either Netflix or Lovefilm, and it's still one of my favourite action comedies. I couldn't stop laughing throughout this film. :lew:

Ay, ay, ay! If I wanna hear you talk, I'll shove my arm up your ass and work your mouth like a puppet!

Bought the DVD yesterday as well and just finished watching it an hour ago. Fantastic film. Loved Christopher Waltz performance that I'm considering watching Inglourious Basterds now. Read that there's a lot of controversy with Django Unchained, but eh, that's how it was back then.
