My teacher was reading out an extract from a story in our lecture this evening and I had to literally bite my tongue when there was a character of that name. xD
Bifflemuffin -idk what this word is, but I use it all the time and can't stop smiling when I use it!
Poppycock -Do I even need to explain?! This word is hilarious! Plus I get the idea of it but idk how to explain definition..
Moist -Oh my this word is naughty no matter how you say it.XD
Totally - I use this word like its crack. I can't stop saying it...stupid slang
Buck naked - I just like saying the word "Buck" really slow and exagerate the B when saying it. the naked is just there becuase that's the only word I use with Buck...
I like Djibouti, the capital of which is Djibouti.
And also "Great googly-moogly," especially the way the guy says it in that old Snickers commercial with the football field Both of these were from funny commercials, actually.
Final. It's such a dramatic word even when you try to make it sound funny.
[Mod Edit: Can you please try to elaborate on your posts in post count sections. =) One liners are usually considered spam in post count sections.]
hateful; odious; abominable; totally reprehensible: a heinous offense.
Personally, I LOVE this word. I laugh every time I hear it, it's so ridiculous.
Of course, there is a hilarious memory connected with this word. For all that have played FF7, you know there is a good number of mistranslations. One forum member felt the need to request some help concerning one confusing mistranslations -- in a weapons shop, the owner tells you to 'see the weapons man upstairs'. Thing is, there IS NO WEAPONS MAN UPSTAIRS. It was meant to direct you to a NPC that would detail some of the options you can use in gameplay.
Anyways.
Having been thoroughly confused by this statement, some member went onto the game board and posted a thread titled thusly:
"The weapons man upstairs: What is the meaning of this Heinous lie?"
I laugh every time I think about it. It sounds so dire for something so innocent...
A lot of people wouldn't probably get this, but this is actually quite amusing when it is said is Disgaea, so you could say that this word amuses me. xD
You ever think that the English language has some really funny words? I was thinking about it and some words with sexual intentions or serious meanings just sound really.. silly, even if you try to use it in the right context.
Bulge.
I read bulge, I giggle. I hear bulge, I giggle. Mostly cause I know what it means and it's an obvious, almost crass way of saying what it means. But it doesn't directly mean it, it's just an obvious synonym for... something.
What words make you giggle or sound weird? Also try and asplain why so it's not spammed to shite with just.. words.
Flummoxed (confused) --I don't know why, I just love the sound of it
Innocuous (unoffensive) --I use this one all the time, ever since having heard it used by Professor Snape in a Harry Potter movie and loving the way it flows off the tongue I do it without thinking about it half the time, but it's always funny when the rest of what I'm saying is silly and/or full of basic one-syllable words
You don't want to know what mucus is, I've got plenty of it right now and it ain't pretty
Actually I do think it's also amusing how there's a "mucus" for the noun and then a "mucous" for the adjective, and yet they sound the same when you pronounce them
There's only one word that amuses me. Excuse my language, because you all know I don't curse, but this is the word...
Unfuckwithable.
I know you guys have never heard of it. Hell, it's only been said once to my knowledge. That's when CM Punk said it on an episode of Raw I believe. When I heard him say Unfuckwithable, that sent me into looney town! Hilarious.
