Whilst some of them have been seen previously, more images have been released including some from the Official Final Fantasy XIII, images also including a closer look at the unknown Team NORA member and a first look at the new white and blue Final Fantasy XIII console featuring Sazh as well as a Sazh front cover! Unfortunately, you're most likely going to have to import the Playstation 3. :sad3:

What the hell is this? To be honest, that's really a stupid move. What are they going to do, make one of every character? They should have done Snow instead, if they were going to do it at all, because he's the "second main character".

Those shots at the beginning are nice, though.
 
I wonder if we'll get PS3s of Hope, Vanille, Fang etc too?

Also, I don't think the colour matchup with Sahz is too great tbh, white and blue just doesn't fit imo :gonk:
 
Ha ha ha. I thought you were asking if we’d prefer to change his race to white as all it said in the latest posts was “who wants a white sazh…”. :D
Anyway, that is pretty cool. I’d never get the PS3 as I already own one, but if I did I’d get the Sazh one… But since it’ll be an import anyway I won’t. I’m glad they chose Sazh as the male character (I’m guessing they did this mainly to have blue version, as pink is girly).

As for the case, is that also going to be Japanese only? I’d probably get the Sazh one if it is over here too, as I think I’m going to like the character more than Lightning.
 
Ohhhh I love the Lightning one better than the Sazh one. She really looks so incredibly bad ass sitting astride Odin's horse, or is that actually Odin himself? I can't remember. I totally want that poster of her and Snow. So fucking awesome. I can't WAIT to get my PS3 next month so I can get the game in March! :yay:
 
Yup, Odin is the horse as the Eidolons can transform :ryan:

I don't really know what to say about this idea if SE intend to make one of every character. Just having the Lightning one is fine, but I'm sure some customers would want to hand pick their favourite character I suppose.

The Lightning PS3 looks better in my opinion. Then again I'm only saying that because I like pink. And I see our Rubi lookalike with Team Nora!
 
Yeah I think Lighting one does look alot better then the Sazh one. Does seem daft making one for him, is he really that popular a character??? Its a pain when this stuff doesnt come near European shores :(

Is vanille the hot one? If I had money to waste Id be half tempted to get a PS3 with her on it. I'd just like a plain white one if Im honest, the black ones need dusting more often.

Now, because Im lazy, and still a child in my head, I just looked at the pictures, so whats with the 2 different cases? One with lightning the other the name and logo that we are used to over here...?

Are both versions of the case being relased?
 
The only thing I can think is that Sazh has been chosen because he's close to Lightning through working with her in the PSICOM. All being said, I've yet to fully read up on Episode Zero so I don't know how far back Lightning goes with Snow.

Though I would imagine a PS3 would be made with each of the main characters solely because of the fanbase and that if you make one you need to make the rest. Although it may just be to balance out male-female colours. I'd like to see the Sazh one at the same angle as the Lightning one because I don't think the angle and lighting do it justice :(

I'm even more confused whether that Team Nora member is a male or female then I was the first time I saw "it" :wacky:

Honestly, while the character PS3s seem kewl, it's just not worth the money to spend on it to pay the extra cost, plus the import fees. How do feck do you people have money to spend like that? :ness:

I actually don't really like the Sazh one. The image they used seems way too cheesy. I know it's the official wall paper image of him, but I'd prefer something more serious.

But yeah, good question - can we expect PS3s of the other 4 characters?
 
I think its a great idea, that way you can choose your own unique playstation design,
awesome awesome, too bad we cant buy it here, who would want a japanese ps3 anyways, hard to deal with.

I'm curious to know how old that picture is, I know the graphics aren't bad but is it me or do the textures seem clunky compared to what we've seen recently? Especially on the tree. :wacky:

I agree with you on the background, but when I look at vanille INGAME and so detailed :O man I wouldnt mind if the game overall is like this :D
 
Unless she has a revelation mid game and thinks that a boob job would greatly benefit this new change :awesome:

But seriously, considering the graphic from environment to actual characters (as is quite common in FF games) it may just be down to graphics, or maybe the lean that Vanille is in in the rander sort of moves them back... I dunno, despite perviness I don't study breast mechanics :(

PS3 Lightning=Pink
PS3 Sazh=Blue

Pink - For female players
Blue - For male players

Conclusion - I dont think they will make more character ps3's
 
Oh. My. Fucking. God. :gasp:

I nearly died when I saw this. The screens were fantastic as usual, but what got my attention were the poster and the battle screens *drools* My gosh, only from these can I tell the character and its every movement have really been done in detail and it's not just crappy GFX.

I recognise some of the Japanese/Chinese words in the 3rd screen, think they are the elements, but surely not 8?!

The Box Art was lush <3 IMO it was a bit plain >_>

I didn't like the PS3s. No point buying one for (only) the game. Agreed on the colours, they could have been far much better.

I really can't wait! (although I don't have a PS3 or an Xbox ¬_¬ but still)
 
I really like the blue PS3 I was hoping that they were going to put Snow on it but Sazh will do. :D Anyway I was just thinking about the whole game console thing and it made me wonder. Over here in the US(dont know how it is in Japan or EU) we have a lot of special edition Xbox 360's, and that made me wonder has there been any talks or rumors of them making special edition 360's? I think it would be cool if they did, I mean it would only be fair for the Microsoft fan boys if they got special edition 360's, because I have known a few people who have traded in there regular 360/PS3 for a special edition just because they love the game so much. And you know there are people out there who are just waiting for something like this to happen.

Just a thought.
