Mindless Self Indulgence

MSI - Lights Out

Love listening to this song after a long day at work. (being a dishwasher really sucks) Great stress reliever.

CHEVELLE - THE MEDDLER
This song is so freaking amazing. I just have no words for it. Listening to this song just is enough to understand its awesome. This song is easily one of the best rock songs in a LONG time. :ryan:

My love for this song outweighs Bella's obsession with Edward.

Black Pyramid - Into the Dawn

Album doesn't come out until next year but this, the final track, has already become my new chill/mong out track. Sludgy, doomy, Sabbath-esq riffage with a nice melody thats mostly instrumental taking the listener on a journey of hazy bliss.

Best served with a nice schmoke of the fine green shrubbery.

don;t know what it is about UK artists at the moment but some of the music is really addictive. this is one of my favorites at the minute. the beat is great and his singing talent + Tinie Tempah = Awesomeness

10/10

Note To Self - From First to Last

Love this song. The vocals of Sonny Moore are just awesome. It's a real shocker that Sonny Moore is indeed the one and the only, Skrillex. How he goes from doing Post-hardcore/emo to dubstep and house music is beyond me. :lew:

The Lonely Island - Boombox (ft. Julian Casablancas)

I can not for the life of me get this song out of my head. XD

I love it so much right now! I don't like that they completely skip the second verse from the original track, but it is still awesome. :ryan:

Julian Casablancas really makes this song fantastic. <3

10/10

I absolutely love this track! It's certainly my favourite on their new CD, which I have been listening to a lot this past week. I know it's typical Nickelback, but the lyrics are meaninful. Plus I love Nickelback! :ryan: For once, they've got a VERY good video. I haven't liked any of their past music videos, but this is stunning. The shots of them playing are good - very well lit - but the highlight are the stills! :)

8/10 (It's great, but there are pieces which mean a lot more to me.)

30 seconds to mars - Oblivion

Finally a 30 seconds to mars song that doesn't sound exactly like every other 30 seconds to mars song? Hm, nah.

Its a song about the decline of america or something.

:argor:

The new Orange Goblin song that was revealed the other day SOUNDS FUCKING GODLY!!!!

But I can't find a decent YouTube video. There is one and it sounds like a piece of shit. Even so, that riff is making me drool like a retard watching porn.

Chevelle- Revenge

Its all Cali's fault that I even started listening to Chevelle :wacky: When I heard one of their songs on the radio last night I had to pick it up on iTunes...and then I started hearing some of the other stuff from their new album and I ended up picking this and Clones. This isn't typically what I listen to, but I really like it. Amazing lyrics <3

The Last Time - Eyeshine

This song send chills down my spine. johnny never sounded so good, and this was probably the last actual album to feature Eddie's fantastic guitars. the lyrical content is great, but what really makes this song great is Johnny's editing in the last 75 seconds of the song. The first half of is a gentle piano, and after a few seconds of silence, piano begins again with kind of a reverse sound. So awesome, I tell ya. :jay:

lux aeterna - clint mansell
it's THAT song from reqiuem for a dream. i rewatched it a few days ago, and i've had this stuck in my head ever since. i've listened to it on repeat for about half an hour a day and i can't get enough of it. it's creepy and epic at the same time

Trophy Wife - The National
A great song from a great album. Oddly enough it's a song about a trophy wife. It manages to be both cynical and moving at the same time. It's sung from the perspective of the trophy wife at times and also from the perspective of someone else, perhaps the younger lover of the trophy wife, or just an objective outsider.

Rain Will Fall - Silverstein

A nice alternative rock-sounding track. The drums are a bit meh, but the guitars are great. Shane throws in his screams minimally in this song, and Neil on the lead guitar has a steady pace. Great song off of a good album. :ryan:

Boy Like You, by Ke$ha & Ashley Tisdale

My friend showed it to me and now I'm in love with it, even though I don't know why.
:spaz:I've replayed it 23984902384 times. Minus the vocals, the music is <3333 I love the sound. It's gorgeous.
