Alexander Rybak - Fairytale

Got into the Eurovision obsession once again and downloaded this recently. It definitely deserved to be last year's winner. It's got catchy lyrics and I love the violin playing in the background. Might seem cheesy to others, but it's one of those songs I'd get up to and do an Irish dance to. Alexander's also got a unique voice I've never heard before and you can defnitely hear his accent, which is, I'll admit, cute.

Puscifer - Mission

Very hip song, Mila never sounded better. Also Maynard pretty much rocks this beat.. gotta love it.

What do you know?

Bought a hot shot gat from a north end guinea
Ante up with your ass 'cause you ain't got a penny
Droppin' bombs from above cut ya all down to size
'Cause they're hip to the bull and they're hip to the lies

What do you know?

Yeah, the streets rose in two perfect waves in the night
Crashes on my left, and one on my right
It's all fire and brimstone baby, so let's go outside
It's all fire and brimstone baby, I got my brand new pistol baby

Our turn to decide, who lives and who dies
Right in front of your eyes, it's time to get up
Our turn to decide, who lives and who dies
Now answer the lies it's time to get up
Our turn to decide, who lives and who dies
Whatcha' know about the ways on the underside?

Final Fantasy XIII - Battle Theme

I'm getting myself psyched for Final Fantasy XIII, which I'm going to be getting in less than three weeks. :D

Anyway, it 'tis a pleasure to listen to because imo the FFXIII Battle Theme is awesome, I think it goes really well with the fast paced Battle System, it's got an excellent rhythm, and hearing it just gets me pumped, I want to display some of my semi-agile movements. xD Guess that's a good thing, right...? :P

Cold - Just Got Wicked

The song is chaotic but I've been a big fan of Scooter's work. Cold has always been there for folks, and this song is totally amazing. It's good for just letting go..

Leona Lewis - Take A Bow

It was one of the standouts from Spirit for sure. I was initially interested since I liked Rihanna's Take A Bow and was surprised to hear this was an original song. Leona's voice is as flawless as ever and I do prefer this over the former. There's a story being told here and I like what I hear.

Ke$ha Feat. 3OH!3 - Blah Blah Blah

It's a really catchy song and I love the concept behind it. Reminds me of Tik Tok, but with a little less attitude and dissing men who think they're all that. I don't really see the need for 3OH!3, but I suppose it's to get the guys' point of view. Good song to listen to in the car.

Final Fantasy XIII- Daddys got the Blues

Love this track, its Sazh's kinda theme. I love it cause it reminds me of Cowboy Bebop and I enjoy blues music. Very mellow and has meaning to it.

Telephone - Lady GaGa and Beyoncé

I thought the novelty had worn off a while ago, but the video (which is pretty fantastic imo xD) has totally made me love the song again. I think that, while it's not as immediately catchy, it's her most catchy song since Poker Face. The chorus in particular is excellent, such a simple hook, but it sticks in my head all day xD

Juno Reactor - conquistador I

Dragging Me Down - Inspiral Carpets

A fantastic, perhaps even sublime opening 30 seconds, unfortunately it falls a little bit flat after the great opening. The lyrics aren't particularly good and they're fairly repititive too. The song is fairly average except for the opening 30 or so seconds, but they're good enough to justify listening to the song.

Oh I used to listen to this song all the time! But I've not listened to it for a while. Surprisingly it reminds me of one of my ex's and I haven't listened to it in around three years now. =0

Lady Gaga - So Happy I Could Die

Love this song!

There's probably only a couple of songs on The Fame Monster album that I'm not that fond of. Speechless and Teeth aren't really my thing. =/ But other than that I'm in love with all of them. <3

I can't wait for another album!

Jordin Sparks - Battlefield

It's still a lovely song, different from what I usually hear from female artists nowadays and the lyrics certainly appeal to me. Jordin's voice is amazing and it's no surprise that she's managed to stay in the industry as long as she has. Mixing a ballad with R&B has worked very well.

Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce - Telephone

Oh wow - I just watched the music video and despite its initial weirdness, length and the fact it seems to lead on from Paparazzi's video, I've really grown to love this song. Gaga starting off singing to a harp is surprisingly a really nice way to start the song before the beat picks up afterwards. It really does stand out a lot in her album and like many other people, I'm hooked on the chorus. Gaga's vocals aren't too bad either and she can seem to keep up with Beyonce.

Leona Lewis - Happy

This has to be one of Leona's best songs to date. The theme is truly inspiring and her voice is always flawless. When the chorus kicks in, I think it's where the song gets better and better. The lyrics are amazing, even the video is saddening to see and yet you can see how it directly relates to the song. I guess a lot of people feel the same way at some point in their lives.

Under The Scotsman's Kilt
an Irish drinking song while i drink lol

A Scotsman clad in kilt left a bar one evening fair
And one could tell by how he walked he'd drunk more than his share
Hefumbled on until he could no longer keep his feet
Then stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street.

chorus:
Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
He stumbled off into the grass to sleep beside the street.

Bout that time two young and lovely girls just happened by,
And one says to the other with a twinkle in her eye
See yon sleeping Scotsman so young and handsome built
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath their kilt.

Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
I wonder if it's true what they don't wear beneath their kilt.

They crept up on that sleeping Scotsman quiet as could be
Lifted up his kilt about an inch so they could see
And there behold for them to view beneath his Scottish skirt
Was nothing but what God had graced him with upon his birth

Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
There was nothing there but what God gave upon his birth

They marveled for a moment then one said we'd must be gone
Let's leave a present for our friend before we move along
As a gift they left a blue silk ribbon tied into a bow
Around the bonnie spar the Scot's did lift and show

Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
Around the bonnie spar that the Scot's lifted kilt did show

Now the Scotsman woke to nature's call and stumbled toward a tree
Behind the bush he lifts his kilt and gawks at what he sees
Then in a startled voice he says to what's before his eyes
'O lad I don't know where you've been but I see you won first prize'

Ring ding diddle diddle i de o
Ring di diddle i o
'O lad I don't know where you've been but I see you won first prize'

Lady Gaga - Monster

I really do love this song. <3

I really can't get it out of my head just like Telephone. >.<

I love how she describes the guy she's talking about like a monster.

'He ate my heart and then he ate my brain'.

It's very different and I'm in love with it. <3

Set Fire to the Third Bar by Snow Patrol and Martha Wainwright

This song is just gorgeous. In two days it's gotten nearly to the top of my itunes most played, and made me cry more than once. It's extremely sad and pretty at the same time... some of the lyrics are a bit hard to get the meaning to, but over all it seems to be about lovers who can't be together due to some circumstances in their lives, but they're praying that somehow they'll be able to be together. I'm a total sap for this kind of thing, so I just adore it. xD I've had it on repeat for a good 40 minutes now, plus the past two days of listening to it almost constantly.. and I'm not tired of it yet.

I'm miles away from where you are
I lay down on the cold ground
And I, I pray that something lifts me up
And sets me down in your warm arms

So pretty D=
