Madonna - Devil Wouldn't Recognize You

I first saw this when seeing an Edward from Twilight video and have adored this song ever since. Madonna's still got it here with this new style of music. I think the song's about not really knowing about your other half and yet suspecting that as well. There's also hints of abuse. It's been a long favourite for a while and up there with 4 Minutes.

Song Name: Black Rose

by Troy Seals and Eddie Setser

The dogs are howling at the midnight moon.

I'm on my way to where the black rose blooms.

The mountain's high, the night is cold.

I feel the sunshine; a black rose grows.

Together again, we're as common as sin, they say,

We just walk around the stones they throw.

Night after night, we steal away to where

Love don't see no colors in the shadows,

Love don't see no colors in the shadows.

Wind in the willows, wild and warm,

Just like the woman lying here in my arms.

The water's deep, cold and still.

I love the feeling that black rose gives.

Motley Crue-Smokin' in the boy's room.

Here's a classic that's worth listening to! They'll be talking about this song for many more years to come. It may be old, but not everything old sucks!!!! Remember what I said.

Back Home, by Yellowcard

I love this song. I remember when I used to listen to it daily. Yellowcard has a lot of songs that bring back a lot of memories for me. Even though it's been 'only' five years. I remember first getting my internet connection sadly enough, and finding all this cool music on YouTube. I couldn't stop listening to them... They just have that lyrical click.

Amazing band, in my opinion. Here's some favourite lines from said song.

♫ Don't know, what I was looking for when I went home... I found me alone...
And sometimes, you need someone to say 'You'll be all right. What's on your mind?'.
But the water's shallow here, and I am full of fear. And empty handed after two long years.

Another sunny day in Californ-i-a,
I'm sure back home they'd love to see it...
But they don't know that what you love is ripped away...
Before you get a chance, before you get a chance to feel it...

Everybody here, is living life in fear, of falling out of line!
Tearing lives apart, and breaking lots of hearts, just to pass the time!
And the eyes get red in the back of your head, this place will make you blind!
Put it all behind me and I'll be just fine... ♪

Chris Brown - Crawl

Some weeks on from first hearing this, I do still think it's better than I Can Transform Ya. I've gone off that to be honest. I'm starting to see the bigger picture of this song and how universally brilliant it is. His voice is really unique and flawless, despite what he did to Rihanna. It's got a good beat throughout and the chorus is catchy.

Voltaire - Tempest.

It's been called the 'Gothic belly dancing' track by himself and by fans. It's his only instrumental piece so far as I am aware. It's quite great as I imagine harpies and monsters coming onto the deck of the ship and giving the crew a belly dance as the ship begins to break apart. It also repeats and reflects on themes and sounds from other songs of the album (To the Bottom of the Sea) as it is towards the end of the album and the story of the album is nearing the finale.

Leona Lewis - My Hands

It's been growing on me with the release of FFXIII and it's made me want to analyse the song to see the real connection to the game itself. Leona's voice is as flawless as ever and it definitely gains momentum towards the end. It's a little slow at the beginning, but it's to be expected with her. Amazing now that I've listened to it more.

Heels Over Head, by Boys Like Girls

This song's great. :ryan: It has a nice tune, and great lyrics! I really like when this song comes on my playlist, I'm always wiggling and humming, or singing along. x] Such a great song...

♫ I got your runaway smile in my piggybank baby
Gonna cash it right in for a new Mercedes
You were worth the hundred thousand miles
But you couldn't stay awhile
I got your little brown shirt in my bottom drawer baby
And your little white socks in the top drawer
You were always leaving your shit around
And gone without a sound

Yeah I'm the first to fall and the last to know
Where'd you go?

Now I'm heels over head
I'm hangin' upside down
Thinking how you left me for dead
California bound

You're burnin' bridges baby
Burnin' bridges, making wishes
Yeah you're burnin' bridges baby
Burnin' bridges, making wishes

You're a chance taker, heartbreaker
Got me wrapped around your finger

Push, by The Cure

I dunno what it is about this song, but it does something. When it starts up, I'm just... All excited about it. xD Was laughing with my mom cause I went "Yaaaaay" as it came on. Absolutely love the intro, the guitars are amazing. Love the music. :ryan: Robert Smith's voice completes it all.

Not the greatest version, but great still.

BedRock-Lil Wayne, featuring Gudda Gudda, Nicki Minja, Drake, Tyga, Jae Millz & Lloyd

:hmmm: at first i thought i wouldn't like it cause im not a real fan of lil wayne but, all these guest singers are great and make this song a hit! =]

Nicki's voice annoys me though tbh. but, the song is catchy upbeat and fun. It's a good tune imo.
More like a partish song but, nonetheless a great song.

My favorite part is when:
"[Lloyd]
(Okay)
Oh Baby,
I Be Stuck To You,
Like Glue Baby,
Wanna Spend It All On You,
Baby,
My Room Is The G Spot,
Call Me Mr. Flintstone..."

Say Ah- Trey Songz FT Fabolous

This song is great! :]

I think both Trey and Fab go well together and they really bring the song to life! They're creative and know how to put things together to make it really work.

Very nice vocals and they're both talented artist.

Lady Gaga - Monster

This song is really nice.

'He ate my heart' sounds cool when she sings it. >.< It gives me the chills.

She's really on a roll lately. I don't think this is a single yet, but it would be nice if it did become one. A music video of it would be awesome to see!

Metric - Gimme Sympathy
I'm a late bloomer to Metric and just recently got into them. I love the girls voice in this song and even though i find the lyrics quite shatty i do think its quite catchy and i enjoy listening to it. I think this is one of the best songs they have out right now, though i haven't explored to far into them yet.

The Lonely Island - Jizzed in my pants

Haha this song is always good for a laugh.

I bought the album a while ago off ebay and it came with some of the video clips as well. Jizzed in my pants is the best one. It looks and sounds more professional, whereas the others look my like home footage sort of clips.

Still they're freakin' funny to listen to. Love their stuff.

Adore Billy Talent and recently got the latest album as my ex said Id love it as much as the previous 2. And yeah they are still damn amazing. Would love to see them live. Such great musicians and fab lyrics.

Embarrassment - Madness
Madness generally mix Ska and pop very well and this song is no exception. Although the tempo is quite upbeat the song has a melancholy quality which goes quite well with the subject of the song. The song is about a family rejecting their daughter because she is pregnant and the father is black. She is the 'embarrassment' from the song's title.
