The song below is hitting a chord in me right now.. Just praying for the good right now, as well as good people.. hoping free will actually is good to me.

O.A.R. - One Day

There's an emptiness between us,
Been filling up for days,
It's heavy on my mind,
Fighting all the time,
But we'll never find our way.

You swore you would remember,
What a shame you had to lie,
Now this battle that you're in,
Is underneath your skin,
And the fight is in your eyes.

But one day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone to pick you up again,
One day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone.

You know this ain't pretend now,
I'd fix it if I could,
So pack up all your things,
Drop off all your rings,
Things have changed for good.

And you swore you would protect me,
You swore you would not lie,
Now the battle that were in,
Is in between locked doors,
And the fight is in our eyes.

But one day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone to pick you up again,
One day you'll fall down and there wont be anyone.

All these lonely days lead to lonely nights,
And a lonely night, I sleep.
Trapped inside what became my life,
And it's all because of me.

One day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone to pick you up again,
One day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone, anywhere now.
One day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone to pick you up again,
One day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone to pick you up again,
One day you'll fall down and there won't be anyone to pick you up again,
To pick you up again.

Crucifucks - Gallows
I'm starting to like Grey Britain a lot more now that I've given it a few listens. I still think the original release of Orchestra of Wolves is their best work though. This is a pretty good closing track to it, and it has the general message of the album to it (like the other dozen songs).

Peg - Steely Dan - Aja

This song is about an up and coming actress who's been given a break thanks to her director. Becker and Fagen have had cynical spins hidden in their lyrics before and sometimes I get the impression it's about how she's being lead on.

A great song that've I started listening to again. It's a nice blend of jazz and rock and Fagen's voice is outstanding. It's a very distinctive style and I can't really describe why. It's certainly not like the singing we hear from artists in the mainstream.
My favourite bit is when he sings "I know they're gonna love it" and "I know I'll love you better".

9/10 Awesome. (y)

Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah

Been listening to a lot of her music lately since my three-year-old brother totally adores Bad Boys and Broken Heels. It's a very relaxing song to listen to at this time of night and she definitely gets her moment near towards the end. People may have tried stopping this getting to #1, but I still think she deserved that #1 fair and square. There's a lot of emotion in this song and Alexandra's song is very unique, it could be better than Leona even.

Beautiful Child - Fleetwood Mac

I've pretty much ignored this song, until this week. It's such a wonderful song. I love the sparse arrangement, with just the piano and the drum loops. Her vocals on this song are so perfect, she fully portrays the emotion in the song. The harmonies are excellent too. It's one of the few ballads that I really like and genuinely move me.

Meh. Nuff said, Good song.

10/10.

Gave in Again
The bastard
Can't keep refusing rights
So he'll loan the cash
But the sin
Is on the hands of you

[Chorus:]
So to care or
Plead silence, weak hands are calling

There's close enough
And there's too far
It won't change an empty stare
But I can't seem to end
These images
Hauntingly looks like hell

[Chorus]

Come, Enter the foreign.
Face, All that's shameful.
Cheat, May the past find
Out; Separating...

[Chorus]

To end this catastrophic scene awake and breathe in

Leona Lewis - I Got You

This is my new official favourite song and it's got me listening to her stuff again, so excited about seeing her in June. A lot of people can relate to this song and no matter what they go through, they've got someone in a relationship to turn to. The video's amazing and emotional, showing different people in many shots. I think it's even better than Happy, which I totally adored. Her voice is flawless and I enjoy listening to those angelic lungs.

3OH!3 feat Katy Perry - Starstrukk

Always gets me in the mood to have some fun this song does. It's so upbeat! It really gets me motivated to get out of the house and enjoy the day. >.<

This has got to be my favourite song at the moment. <3

Lionel Richie--"All Night Long" :D Because it's fun.

I have a dream to one day listen to this song...all night long. <_< >_> The longest I've ever looped it I think has been one hour. And then I got slapped by the person sitting next to me.

But this time, I'm wearing headphones... :wacky:

EDIT: I'm up to an hour and a half :wacky:

Of All We've Known, by Just Surrender

:ryan: It's the third play as of today, played many times before, but for today it's the third already. I really love this song... I'm not a fan of screamo, and I doubt this is considered that. To be honest, in my ears, it's not. The chorus has some power to it. But it's nt a bunch of grambling retards growling their lungs out. :)

:D

♫ It's 9 o’clock and it’s getting dark and I can’t see the road
I flash my headlights into the dark night
I swear we’ll make it on our own

We're older than we used to be

we’re fading in, we’re fading out

Come on, come on!
Hey kid, this is far too important! For you to understand...
She says be a man! you know this is what we both wanted!
It’s time for us to let go!
of all we’ve known...

The Saturdays - Ego

I've got back into this once again and love it for the meaning behind its lyrics. Electropop just seems to be IN at the moment. I really should get their album if they've got more songs like this.

Ke$ha feat 3OH!3 - Blah Blah Blah

It's okay, but I hate it when she says 'Blah Blah Blah'. She sounds dumb. >.<

The rest of the song sounds good though. Really like the beat!

All her songs I've heard so far have a really good beat! Definitely good for clubbing too.

I like 3OH!3's part in it too. >.<

I like her references to Jack Daniels in most of her songs too. XD

currently listening to the monster hunter soundtrack, cause you never know when a rathian is going to come crashing through your wall at 9am.

Garbage - Cherry Lips

Was listening to this yesterday. Went through my music library and found it. >.<

Haven't listened to this in a few years. Probably since highschool.

It's a pretty good song. The girl has a nice voice. =) The only song I ever heard from this group though.

Baby- Justin Bieber FT Ludacris

I was at first a little shaky on this song because I don't really listen to his songs but, I quite liked it!

He has a girlyish voice but, this song is catchy and it's a good tune to listen to.

Though, Ludacris's part is kind of weird xD Idunno though other then that it flowed nicely

and I like the part when Justin says 'baby baby' :ryan: XD

Don't Leave Me This Way ~ Saint Vox

Another hit from Jade and Geo. I love this song to death, and the PV is so very neat. Jade's vocals are awesome, and the lyrics are great.

"I'm afraid I'm feeling afraid Ohh ohh don't leave don't leave this way"

I just want to sing along!

I Swear This Time I Mean It, by Mayday Parade

This song is beautiful. I haven't listened to it that much. But it just came on to my playlist, and I've never really listened to the lyrics much, but they're amazing.

It's such a sweet song... It brings back a lot of memories under the Florida night sky when I was there... :)

10/10.

Oh Florida, please be still tonight
Don't disturb this love of mine

Look how she's so serene
You've gotta help me out

And count the stars to form in lines
And find the words we'll sing in time

I want to keep her dreaming
It's my one wish, I won't forget this

I'm outdated, overrated
Morning seems so far way

So I'll sing a melody
And hope to God she's listening
Sleeping softly while I sing
And I'll be your memories
Your lullaby for all the times
Hoping that my voice could get it right

If luck is on my side tonight
My clumsy tongue will make it right
And wrists that touch
It isn't much, but it's enough
To form imaginary lines
Forget your scars, we'll forget mine
The hours change so fast
Oh God, please make this last

'Cause I'm outdated, overrated
Morning seems so far way

So I'll sing a melody
And hope to God she's listening
Sleeping softly while I sing
And I'll be your memories
Your lullaby for all the times
Hoping that my voice could get it right
Could get it right

You could crush me
Please don't crush me
'Cause baby I'm a dreamer for sure
And I won't let you down
I swear this time I mean it

And I'll sing a melody
And hope to God she's listening
Sleeping softly while I sing
And I'll be your memories
Your lullaby for all the times
Hoping that my voice could get it right... ♪

King's X- "Fade"

This was the first song of theirs I ever heard, and it's still one of my favorites (even though ironically I still don't have it on CD :hmmm:) I'm probably going to end up going deaf from this band, I always turn them up really loud, they just rock :D The guitars are awesome and Doug Pinnick (the bassist) can sing your f***ing face off. (He doesn't actually sing that much in this song, but in their other ones he really lets loose and it's :awesome:)

(the video isn't my fave of theirs but the song...:lew:)
