Honestly l cant think of anything worse than taking a shower straight after someone else it makes me feel icky and eww.And then there the smells
and the and the cooking.

Is it better to live by yourself or with housemates?
:ban:Massive:ban:

I live with my other half and we are both student nurses that have to do 3 shifts a week in a hospital so think of all the icky things we could be carrying around in our shower? lol

To be honest I bet if you took swabs of your shower I bet theres nothing there that does any harm to anyone.

I mean at least you don't have mold everywhere we have to clean our shower daily because of the mold that keeps building up god knows how it grows so fast!

Well, im fine with it. I still give it a slight hose down when i get in. I mean, its not like they're grinding against the glass or shitting in their.

I live with my partner and I don't really feel icky when I use it after him. XD

Usually I'm the only one to have a shower in the morning and when it comes to night time, I have mine at around 5ish and he won't have his until 11pm.

So we're never in right after the other, but I doubt it would really be an issue seeing as we are together. >.<

Hell we even have showers together sometimes lol.

Actually, come to think of it, i enjoy hot springing. When i say hot spring, i mean the type in japan, where its completely nude and public. That said, i dont find showering with others too distraughting, never mind it being family. But then again, Japs are ridiculously clean though.....

Well, i live with my family and we have a live in housekeeper so we are clean. Plus, we have four toilets (One for parents, one for sister, main upstairs and main downstairs), so if someone had just did a nasty in one, id just go to another. Other than toilet, i cant think of anywhere else that could be destroyed.

I live with a roommate (at least until the end of next week where I go back home for Summer) so, I really can't be arsed on sharing a room (especially since it's like an aprtment anyway), personally, I could not be arsed.

I wouldn't use 'japs' ... it's slightly racist and it's not a nice word. :\ Or so I'm told. Apologies if it is acceptable, I've just always been told not to use it.

Anyways! I apologise for going slightly off topic. I don't really mind. I mean, if we're family we're gonna be sending the same germs around so ;) Nothing wrong with it. :-) Although if given the choice I would prefer to live alone. :awesome:

Hmmm depends on the closeness level I have with a person....
The more I like you the more comfortable I am with your germs so to speak wich is realy odd since I use to be majorly germaphobic...I wouldnt even sit on my own toilett at home!
Currently I dont care if I like you I like your germs the only hazard I ever faced was my hair it was past my waist and I always had to make an effort to remember to pluck it out of my friends drains...I didnt want to give them clogs
If I where to have a roomate....it would have to be with two bathrooms Ive always hated fighting over the toilett and sometimes I can take rather long baths/showers...
All in all I dont realy care as long as the end result is myself being clean

;D

Anyways, yeah, I live with my best friend keke. We never take a shower one after another. I get up, take a shower come home from work run/gym whatever take a shower. Keke gets up after me and she doesn't leave the house till later so there's no need for her to be up at the same time as I.

Well, it has a derogatory term because many WW2 GIs used it and it becomes somewhat...derogatory. If you dont like it or some people find it offensive, then i apologise and i wont use it then.

Actually, the only thing i cant do is use a toilet after someone dumped. Besides that, i think im good.

I wouldn't ever live with a friend, to be honest. Even if the friend was extremely clean and kept up their room, I would have to have a separate bathroom and bedroom at least. I don't feel as close with friends as I do with my family.

I live with my family, which consists of parents and a sibling. I don't really ever have a problem with showering after someone has been in the shower, but I do have a problem with using the shower after they've used the lavatory. When I get out, I just don't feel as clean. If I'm in a rush and someone's just used it, well then I have no choice, so I'll open the window.

I live with my grandparents, and we have two bathrooms, so I'm not too fussed about it. One of the bathrooms is connected to my bedroom and is basically MINE, so no one else really uses it often... I have my own towels and shower things because I'm really picky about it, though. I've actually thrown a bit of a fit for my towels being mixed in with the rest of them. :wacky: That sounds ridiculous, but it's just one of those things that drives me insane.

When I'm at a friend's house or such and we both need to shower before bed or leaving or something, it doesn't bother me too much... simply because I don't let it. It would be rude to be all picky about such things when I'm a guest somewhere. I'm a pretty polite person, so that's not something I'm likely to complain about unless I'm really close to the person.

In other areas of the house though, like the kitchen, I'm even worse. I won't do other people's dishes unless they've been rinsed, but I'll always do my own and any that have been rinsed. There's just something about having to scrap other people's plates off that grosses me out. >.< I also can't stand sharing food with people. If it's not on my plate, I'm not going to eat it, and I'd appreciate people not doing the same, you know? I don't mind cleaning the things that have been used to cook either, it's just... other people's plates and silverware... no. Just no.

The only other thing that bothers me about sharing a house with others is a lack of privacy. It's MY bedroom, kindly knock before entering and do not just barge in. Also, going through my things is impolite and you shouldn't do it. Thank you. :ahmed:

Why does that even matter? The waters clean because its constantly running, its not like youve just dived into someone eles bath water, or not cleaned the bath out before you get in it...?

I dont like other people using my towels though, im abit funny about that, they go straight in the wash afterward. I hated living at my mums and someone beat me to the shower and then mum would yell at me for wanting to get fresh ones out

HYGENE WOMAN :rage:

So its not just me... when I'm scraping a bit off and a piece hits my hand I'm all like..

I hate it when people don't clean the shower after using it especially since I'm pretty much the only one who does it regularly in my house. Bastards.

I live with my grandparents and our house is constantly clean. We have 3 bathrooms, so all is well in the hygine department lolz XD

My gran loves cleaning, as do I. So its win-win, its my grandfather who is the pig, yuck. He can be so damn gross sometimes its ridic!

My new guys on the other hand is bit bleh. I hate using the bathroom there as sometimes Im the only girl there and theres 5 or 6 guys :/ Was like that in my old apartment, my ex would trash the place, as would his mates. They had no respect for anything.
