The Nine Worlds: RP

KOODORI

"NIGHTMARE!!!"

A dark misty fog shrouded Koodori's eyesight blocking also his hearing from anyone near him. He looked around and saw someone walking towards him. It was his adoptive mother. She had a sad look upon her face as she looked at Koodori with tears in her eyes. Even thou he did not know why she was crying he felt that he knew what it could be. He knew that his adoptive parents never could have a child and the fact they wanted grand children aswell hurt him, as he most likely never would have any himself due to his interest in men.

Another person walked up too him from the other side. It was Aria this time. Having a revealed look upon his face he smiled at her, but Aria's face was diffrent. It was angry, sad and filled with dissapointment.

"I don't like guys like you. I don't support you."

His heart took a complete hit to her statement, but oddly enough she dissipated and appeared behind him.

"Brother.."

As he turned around Aria's body was covered in blood with a empty look across her face. Tears were streaming from her completely white eyes as she walked slowly towards Koodori.

"You could not help me.. you could not help anyone.."

Koodori's eyes widened as he started to move away from her. He could not belive his eyes. He then tripped and fell onto the ground right on his butt and as Aria got closer and closer she opened her chest reached for her heart, ripping it out of her body.

A non beating heart was then in her hand, as she continued to walk towards Koodori she looked at him one final time.

"You broke my heart brother... you broke it.. and you can't fix it.."

Koodori closed his eyes and went into a fetal position. He was scared or more or less terrified of this. What was this, what was going on. He could not even manage to think if this was real or not.

---
CRYSTAL

Crystal's vision got blurry as this clouded mist started to breach out from the enemy. She stood still however and wondered why everything was so quiet for her. She could not hear anyone else that was around her at the time and as her vision was regained she could see a figure.

"Dad."

Her father approached her in his signature black suit. His white short hair that was slicked back as most old business men that she personally have met and his normal cold and heart breaking face was there.

"I am dissapointed in you."

Crystal smirks alittle bit before she flicks her hair back.

"What is this?"

The old man looked at her with a serious look. He did not seem to budge of the mere fact that Crystal questioned this entire scene. The man then coughed alittle bit before he started to speak again.

"I can't accept that--"

He was siftly cut short by Crystal as she spoke aswell.

"I can't accept that you are using your own body just to get somewhere in business world. Use your brains instead of your bust."

She paused and put her hand up to her chest, the bracelets shining in the small glimmer of light that was left.

"You are dead. You are not here. You have absolutely no right to invade my life ever again. You could never accept that I went the extra mile for my job and it payed off. And it was you who pushed me into this! You wanted me to be like you and I became like you! Only diffrence is that I still have a small part of my heart left."

The old man seemed to dissipate from her vision as she finally came out of this state. Seeming at she already had experienced her worst fear, the disaproval from her father and his death she was stronger than expected. Looking around not seeing the enemy anywhere she noticed that Koodori was lying in a fetal position.

"Koo.. Koo.."

She then clutched her fist and ran over to him at a fast pace.

"Oh screw the name.. Blondie!"

Samuel gasped a the dark mist pulsed towards him at high speeds. His breath caught in his throat as he was surrounded by darkness, pure, unrelenting darkness. The light at the end of the tunnel had gone. Oh god ohgod oh god his only hope! The only thing that had kept him sane throughout this ordeal; the light, and it had done.

Samuel was hyperventilating now as the darkness surrounded him. No one was here. No one.... So many people complained about the lights that constantly blared across New York City... But for years they were his only company, family,friends, his way to look around the city for a place to sleep.

He found himself cold, alone. And there was something else now.

Footsteps in the dark...

OOC: So i guess Ellie and Brunhilde will just wander around. Also, waiting on Saul, who is waiting on Damon. Is there meant to be any human survivors?

Brunhilde

There really wasn't much to look at. Only the jagged remains of buildings that once scraped the skies stood, almost like headstones. A graveyard.

How unfortunately fitting, this landscape. Their own monuments become their own headstones...

It seemed hopeless that they would find any survivors. The land has been flattened all around. Lines of sadness creased Brunhilde's face when a sharp spike hit her mind. She was familiar with this spirit. It was Ashe. A wave of relief washed through Brunhilde. She was her longest serving Einherjar that had stayed by her side. Although she shouldn't, she had grown an attachment to the brusque archer. The spirit was faint, but she felt it, by one of the massive tunnels that crisscrossed New York.

Sister, i sense Ashe by an underground vehicle tunnel. There may be survivors that were underground at the time. Let us search.

Like a plane, Brunhilde banked off towards and away from Ashe. Ashe was there, meaning that she was with survivors. Her being there was of no help. It would be more worthwhile to find other underground survivors.

~~~~~
Lindt
She didn't like it, but they were right. Fighting now was pretty stupid and if they were feral like all the others in the city, her throat would have been torn out by the group.
Fine. Sorry about that, but i can't be too careful.
As if by some cosmic fate, trouble appeared again, right after the tree woman. It was as if trouble was attracted to the, like a magnet. This time, it was much creepier than the odd tree person. A odd, keening and purple smog came wafting across the tunnel and before any action could be taken, the smog swam up her nose nad mouth. Shock and horror plastered across Lindt's face. She had seen enough horror movies to know that anything that goes up a person's orfices would not be good. She started to cough, but by then, her mind slowly swam into darkness until that was all there is.
Grandpa? Joey? Jack? Jill?
The silence and darkness was making Lindt panic and hyperventilate. It seemed wide and open, but it was causing her to feel claustrophobic.
Dad...? Mum....?
Like a baby, Lindt fell to the ground, gathered herself into a fetal position with her thumb in her mouth, biting nervously on her nail. Tears streamed from her eyes as did saliva from her mouth as fear overtook her entire mind.
Where are you? Where is everyone!?
It had seemed like eternity, but in fact, hadn't been more than a few minutes at most. With slow flickering movements, Lindt cracked open her eyelids, thankful for even the dimmest light and the sound of people nearby. She was still in her fetal position and on her face, Lindt could still feel the dampness of her tears and saliva. Furiously, she tried to wipe away all the evidence of weakness. It was shameful. Depsite her best efforts, her eyes were swollen red, an obvious sign of crying. A last feeble attempt to hide, she tugged her hat lower, trying to hide under neath its rim. With strength less than that of a child, Lindt wobbled to her feet. She had to appear strong. She could not show weakness. Still shaking, Lint hobbled over to the closest person in sight, the harp girl. With a firm grip as if she was still in control, Lindt grabbed onto her arm and tried to get her back onto her feet, or at least sitting up.
Hey, get up. Up!
Although her words were authorative and strong, her voice betrayed everything, shaking and stuttering interrupted with deep breathing, trying to calm down.
Ellie-Life in the Least Likeliest of Places
How unfortunately fitting, this landscape. Their own monuments become their own headstones...
Ellie looked at the broken buildings that were once skyscrapers. It was fitting and yet was sadly ironic. The city that never sleeps finally had its last gasp of air before dying.
"It's a pitiful sight, seeing so much devasatation..."
As much as she did not want to think it, it was indeed true, everyone here was dead.
Sister, i sense Ashe by an underground vehicle tunnel. There may be survivors that were underground at the time. Let us search.
Ellie was surprised at these developments. Perhaps there were a select few that survived the genocidal onslaught at New York.
She quickly nodded and banked at high speed alongside Brunhilde, eventually meeting her sister's Einherjar, Ashe. Ashe was there, and following Brunhilde she said, "My sister, if there are any survivors, I fear they could be under attack, I do not know how thorough these Pure Ones are, but for certain, I don't want to know, let us make haste." With that she flew in towards the Holland Tunnel, ready for the unexpected.
Katharina-Temoprarily Overcoming Fear
With the sound of nearby people, she was able to finally drown out her thoughts and overcome the sight of her dead brother. Little did she know, this would be more to it than that if a dream.
Wiping the tears from her eyes, her eyes was still red from her tears. Weakly getting up and picking up her shotgun, she walked up to the closest person, Samuel. She said to him, "Come on, snap out of it, get up!!!" Kat tried to shake the man to his senses, hoping that he would get better soon.
Not even bothering to dodge the attack, Nereid swiftly, and without force grabbed his attacking arm. Without moving he allowed the roundhouse kick to hit him, grabbing the man's leg and attempted to twist it, which would leave him on the floor, possibly with a broken leg if he tried to fight against it.
If this succeeded and Saul fell to the ground, he would kick him hard in the gut before aiming a thin beam of destruction through his back, cutting and breaking any bones it struck.
OOC: hope that's not too overboard :hmmm:
Luna Cyrenaicea
Luna was absolutely infuriated when Taylana spoke, but she knew that she would not win, so she just sulked in her head, not trying to show it due to her pride. Luna knew that something was up ahead, but what it was she was ignorant to, but seriously, could they really match with the Mistress of the underworld? tch, yeah right, she thought. Since this was what was in her mind, she decided to just watch the others.
Arukab
With his gunblade in hand he was walking through a dark tunnel, oblivious to where it was going. His silver wings and horns were heavy, and it was growing difficult to continue walking. He couldn't last much longer at all. But he would persist forward no matter what, there was something telling him to go in this direction, and he would follow it. His silver would only last so long, so once it went away, it would be so much easier...
OOC: Ill wait for the opurtune moment to key Lloyed in...
"Snap out of it!"
Crystal slapped Koodori so he could get his act back together. She have never seen anyone this terrified or having such a disturbed look upon their face. The slap made Koodori aware that it was not real, however the image of his sister in such a condition scared him.
"You boy scared me for a second."
Crystal stood up before Koodori could thank her or anything. She seemed tense as something seemed to be wrong, very wrong. It seemed that not everyone have recovered from this hellish magic. Wondering still where the enemy was, she started to think to herself.
"Maybe the plan was to strike us with fear and let us all give in to it."
Koodori on the other hand managed to stand up. He was dissoriented from his own thoughts and whatever happened just now scared him to pieces. It was hard for him to try and stay cheerful like he always does when something like this struck him. He then gathered his thoughts before his initial mindset started to work.
"Aria.."
He turned and dashed towards Aria and looked at her, falling to his knees due to him not being able to recover swiftly from the events. He did not know what to say to her to comfort her. He did not even know what she might have seen and neither did she about him. All he wanted was to be close to her now.
SAUL
7 Days to the Wolves
Saul felt a vice like grip upon his leg before it was twisted, sending the boy sprawling face first across the ground. Concrete scraped at skin, grazing Saul's face. He winced. Though the bone was not broken, moving it caused Saul to cry out with pain. Severly sprained, it was agony to even move that leg.
And then came the kick directly to Saul's gut, forcing the air from his lungs in one blast, leaving him aching and struggling for breath. Fighting the fog of darkness that was edging into his vision, Saul tried to push himself to his knees. Pain lanced through his ribs as a new surge of agony ripped up his back.
Trying not to cry out with the agony that seemed to undulate through his body, an extremely alien and painful sensation took him over. Instinctively rolling away from the beam of light and onto his stomach, his body convulsed as the sound of cracking bones filled the air. A yelp of pain finally broke from his throat, coming out far more animalistic than any human could naturally produce.
His body began to shift in shape, muscles expanding and bones reshaping to fit the form Saul was taking. After several excruciating minutes, the near broken boy had gone to be replaced by a silver wolf. A howl of pain and confusion came from the animal's maw as it turned its' eyes upon the Destroyer. Panting from the effort of the shift, Saul the Wolf nearly collapsed from the agony coursing through his muscles and new body.
His hind leg pained him as he stepped forward, hobbling from the injury. Nearly every part of him hurt, but he nonetheless allowed his feral instincts to take over.
The wolf leapt at the Destroyer, pain ripping through his form in the process, searching for his neck...
ARIA
The Siren
The first thing Aria was aware of as she hunched over, weeping, was a comforting hand upon her shoulder, followed by a strange, but oddly soothing voice.
"Be strong, coeur. Not many are lucky enough to know their own weaknesses as intimately as you do. This thing, this ... darkness inside you, it is too much for you to bear now. But in time, coeur, in time you will conquer it. You will bend it to your will. You will control it, and it will not control you."
She stifled a sob, forcing the tears to stop at this strange man's words as he spoke once more to her, words she would never repeat, even to herself. And then he was gone, leaving her alone once more.
Then there was a woman, gripping her arm, pulling her up. Aria didn't want to stand, but compromised silently with this insistent girl by at least unfurling herself and kneeling upright. It seemed the others had been affected too, but what had happened to them, the Singer had no idea.
She closed her eyes for a moment, trying in desperation to wipe the images from her mind when she heard a familiar voice.
"KOODORI!"
she yelled, leaping at him and clinging fiercly to him as though her life depended on it. "I'm sorry..." she whispered, though she knew he had no idea what she had seen. Planting a light kiss on his cheek, probably more to comfort herself that he was real, she looked around again.
She couldn't see the strange man who had spoken to her, but another form caught her eye. Samuel.
Shuffling across the ground towards him, she rested a hand lightly on his shoulder. He had saved her from the plant woman... She had to thank him.
"Thank you..." she said softly, squeezing his shoulder lightly before removing her hand and crossing her hands across her lap as she knelt before him.
OOC: Well, i guess this is when Ashe jumps in, Snow? I'll also try my hand at post titles XD
Ashe
Her Neck for Another.....
It had been too long. In reality, it shouldn't have been more than a few minutes, but in the current context, a minute was already too long. Light and a slight breeze still poured in from the tunnel entrance. Infused with the slight wind was the scent of energy disturbance. It was familiar, yet not so. Something that she had felt not too long ago...
Tch....this is bad....
Her Yumi bow was back in her hand as Ashe dashed outside into the open air. The boy named Saul seemed to have met something out there and currently engaged in combat, albeit extremely one sided. It was stupid. Anything less than a God class person was dead, meaning the one Saul is facing was most likely a Pure One or an accomplice.
Hold on boy.....
The fluctuation was near, immediate near. Another block and around the corner and she would have visual contact.
~~~~~

Lindt

Now is not the time....

With the harp girl leaping into one of the boys, Lindt let out a slight sigh, followed by a crease in her eyebrow of fatigue. Her rhythm had been disrupted and the whole world was cascading in. Lazily, her back slumped against a car side, letting the weight of her own self be taken by the car, whilst her own gun propped herself up. To her, it seemed like everyone was good. Confused, but alright...to some extent. It was becoming more weird by the second. The tree woman was one thing, but that mist was off the chart. Through ragged breath, she tried to get her answer.
What the...bloody hell.....was that?

Raym: Take the shot!

With the Archer now under his control, Raym rose his puppet body to its feet and picked up the bow.

Noticing that everyone was seemingly occupied and the ruse that he had left was working perfectly, reaching the arm back he grabbed an arrow bolt placing it into the bows frame, pulling the wire to full tension and taking aim at Aria's back...A sadistic smile crawled across his face as he let the arrow fly towards its intended target, his eyes flashing with grim delight.

Abruptly, Samuel's vision ended. Light filled his vision again, so fast it was almost blinding to the eyes which had almost become adjusted to eternal darkness. Footsteps remained, but they were no longer heavy thumps, and he no longer felt threatened by them, and could breathe again without his chest contracting painfully.

Looking at his surroundings, he was embarassed and annoyed to find himself on the ground, hot sweat pouring down his face and neck. Blood was leaking from cuts on his elbows and cheeks, where he had scratched himself pn the ground on his throes.

Standing up, brushing himself down, and wiping the blood off his body, ignoring the sting that came with contact, he looked to see if everyone was all right:

Aria, Koodori, Katharina, the new gun wielding girl relaxing against a car, Kiko-

Kiko! An arrow was nocked to his bow, pointing straight at Aria. Samuel was helpless to resist as the arrow flew at incredible speed towards Aria's back. So Samuel did the only thing he could think of.

"ARIA!" he roared.

ARIA
Backstabber

Aria was only vaguely aware of her surroundings as her fingers traced the strings of her Harp as they always did when she was seeking comfort. Just the feeling of the taut strings beneath her delicate fingers was enough to ensure her that she was going to be okay. So long as Aria had Koodori and her music, she was going to be just fine.

"ARIA!"

Samuel's yell brought a sharp, long scream from Aria as she turned her head, seemingly in slow motion to notice the arrow on a straight, deliberate path for her back. Her scream reveberated, accompanied by a few stray notes plucked more from instinct than conscious thought. The arrow slowed as a silver light engulfed Aria's harp. Scared, Aria did the only thing she could think of as her scream petered out; she span out of the way, the arrow picking up it's speed as the effects of her note disappeared, nicking her sleeve and slicing her arm. The arrow clattered harmlessly against the wall of the tunnel.

Shaking with fear, Aria slumped against the door of a jeep nearby, breathing hard. Pulling up her sleeve, she gazed at the three inch cut on her arm. Shallow enough it wouldn't need stitches, but deep enough that it stung. She closed her eyes before opening them slowly and looking at the Archer.

"Why the HELL did you just try to kill me?"
she demanded with more force than she actually felt. Aria felt weak from her brush with the arrow, but she couldn't give in. He had tried to kill her. "WHY?!"

Kat-From Betrayl to Anger

Kat was happy to see Samuel was up and around, but when she turned around and saw Kiko fire an arrow which narrowly missed Aria. She clearly understood why Aria was angry, Kat on the other hand was angry over such a development, and though she knew that the girl with the rifle tried to the same thing, enough was enough.

Walking up to him, Kat threw a punch straight at the Archer's face. While shouting at the man , "JUST WHAT THE HELL WE'RE YOU TRYING TO DO, YOU SON OF A B%#$@!!!" If someone did not restrain her, Katharina would probably wind up beating the archer to death.

KOODORI

"Aria!"

Koodori was not far from her and dashed towards her almost completely ignoring his previous fall in mind. For some reason even thou the one with the bow hurt Aria, he could not seem to get angry. He was finally the person he used to be, a very collected young man.

"Aria, you will be fine. Everything will."

He then stood infront of her and had his chakrams drawn, one in each hand. He looked at the archer with a calm and caring look and positioned himself in a more offensive stance than his usual passive stance.

"Why are you doing this? I know that if we talk we can solve this peacefully."

CRYSTAL

Crystal had her arms crossed as the archer hurt Aria with a arrow. She was not pleased to see that they were attacked for the third time after such a short amount of time. Her fingers were twitching in anger as this was starting to get redicolous. It was then as Kat screamed at the archer straight after Aria she decided to show them the business woman within her.

"Calm down, Woman!"

She sighed as she walked forward, her heels annoying the living hell out of her as blisters were being made to her delicate feet. You could see on her face that she was on the brink of joining the scream off, but her better judgement held her back.

"I am sick and tired of people attacking us one person after another. So please explain to us why you did just try to kill her so I can give you the shock of your life."

Her fingers was showing a electric current going through her fingers as if she was readying a spell to be used. She was not happy and unless the person can come with a oddly good explanation she would not hold back.

Kiko watched the arrow fly from his bow and towards the girl. He knew that something was wrong with him, but he wasn't sure what was causing him to act like this. After the arrow clipped her, he dropped his bow and threw his quiver of arrows away from him before he could get off another shot.

He suddenly felt something he could not describe flowing inside him. He dropped down to a knee, and concentrated as hard as he could on his one happy memory: the day that he found Jane and they became friends. He had forgotten bits of what happened, but now, things were starting to come back to him.

"Hey, back off man. She didn't do anything to you." He said to the kids who were picking on this girl. "If you don't, you will regret what will happen." The kids looked at him and said, "Fine, she's not worth our time anyways." After they left, Kiko and the girl exchanged pleasantries and became friends. When his dad died some time later and his hand was burned, it was her that made his glove for him.

He could feel the feeling inside him lessen to the point where it was almost not there. He had focused so hard that he had almost forgot where he was. The next thing he knew, he was on the ground and his jaw hurt like hell. He tried to pick himself up off the ground, but could not find the strength to do so. After working himself for what seemed like days, he got to the point where he couldn't take it anymore, and passed out where he lay.

OOC: Sorry for the long post. Hope this isn't too god-modish.

As the wolf leapt at him, Nereid was initially surprised though not for long. As the beast flung itself at him, Nereid simply grabbed it by the stomach with his arm outstretched, preventing it from getting any closer. "So, you've got a little trick up your sleeve... No problem..." Nereid, looking around for something sharp and dangerous saw nothing in easy reach instead simply shrugged his shoulders. "Ah well, no matter..." at this he turned to the edge of the building and hurled it off the building.

Not even waiting to hear the crunch of bones he boredly rose into the air "now where's that other bastard I need to deal with?" looking around with his hands on his waist he leant over, looking down. "Come out, come out wherever you are!"

ooc: Apologies if it sounds too god-mody :sad3:

OOC: Hm.. is that other bastard Ashe?

Ashe

Just as she rounded the corner, she spotted a falling object. Despite her visuals telling her that that was not human, her energy senses could tell that was the boy. A fall from that height was deadly, regardless of transformation and from the look of his condition, it didn't seem like he was going to recover from his fall in mid air. The only thing to do was catch him. Legs pounding, her eyes slowed down as she saw the body fall closer and closer to the ground and her still too far to catch. With one desperate leap, Ashe threw herself forward as much as she can. This turned her catch into something more like a tackle, as her arms wrapped around the torso of the wolf and rolled over and over again as she hit the ground. It was rather painful to do so in an armour. Shaking off the dust and debris from her landing, Ashe stood to her feet, wolf still in her arms and looked up.

Shit....how the hell am i going to get away from this guy...?

Samuel stood up and glared at Kiko as he ran to Aria, standing in front of her like a human shield. What the hell?! He had thought they were a team, and now one of their own, this archer with deadly aim, was getting in their way, and pointing his weapon at Aria? The thought sent another pang of pain surging down Samuel's chest, but he suppressed it this time, instinctively knowing to seal it with a mental push.

"Are you alright?" he asked Aria, before turning to Kiko and drawing his dagger. His face was expressionless, but a cold rage was visible in his twinkling eyes as he pointed the dagger unshakingly at the archer boy.

He was startled to see the boy collapse though. Seemed he was exhausted, not that they had been walking or fighting that long or that vigorously. Samuel, at least, still had plenty of energy in him. He couldn't help but suspect foul play.

_______________________________________________________________________
Raym couldn't escape from the brat. He had closed off his mind upon collapsing,leaving Raym trapped until it re-opened. And that would only happen when he woke up again. Until then, he was seperated from his Talon.
_______________________________________________________________________
Anastasia sniffed the air, for a moment detached herself from the world. From Luna and Taylana. The blood from the arrow that had skimmed Aria awakened a primal instinct with Anastasia. She suppressed it.

"We're getting closer," she whispered, and drifted on.

Katharina-Grudge

"Calm down, Woman!"

As soon as Crystal spoke, Kat recoiled. While it did snap her out of her initial rage, it still did not stop herself from holding a grudge. That one punch she threw seemingly knocking the Archer out.

Looking towards Aria, she asked the girl, "Are you alright?" Although is clearly hurt, the fact that the attempted murderer iis unconscious means that he is no longer a threat. Then turning to Crystal, she said to her, "I apologize, I did not mean to act that way." Although she apologized, a part of her did not mean what she said.

Luna Cyrenaicea
Underworlds Mistress

Luna was running on with the two she had just encountered when one of them spoke to say they were getting closer, but to what, Luna was unsure. Buuut she was too busy pouting in her head about the attitude Taylana showed towards her. Luna found it rather ridiculous...

Arukab Tragide
The silver Phantom

Arukab was walking very slowly and heavily, when the time that his Silver Phantom state would expire, allowing him to move much faster. When his silver came back into his body, he let out a quiet grunt from pain. This feeling was always highly uncomfortable, the feeling of silver attachments with a rough surface plunging into his muscles, almost made him feel guilty for the victims of this attack. But when it was all gone and retreated, Arukab was able to lighten everything in his body and everything he was wearing to the weight of a feather.

With his weight down by so much, he picked up the pace, tucking Soul Shot back into his body, he went in an all out sprint, trying to get to the end of the tunnel as fast as possible. He was sprinting all out, reaching max speed and coverage, and his breath was heavy, his heart was pulsing, and his eyes were determined. Pushing himself harder and harder, every second, he finally saw a light...a very familiar light...the light of the sun...
