If you're going to post opinions then don't get annoyed because someone disagrees and replies to you in a thread meant for open discussion.

About brushes though, I don't use GIMP but in PS you have to go to the brush menu and load the brushes to your palette to use them. GIMP might have something similar. Or ask someone here: http://www.finalfantasyforums.net/help-service.html

Sure, talking about SOTW themes isn't unrelated, but taking gumption with one member's attitude toward strikes me as being outside the realm of being topic relevant. I will get annoyed when someone persists along a trivial matter that is truly inconsequential to the forums or anything else for that matter.

Yeah, Gimp is a bit different, but I finally figured it out. It's a somewhat redundant process. Thanks anyways, though.

As for the next theme, I think maybe another one along the lines of something pre chosen would be cool again. Possible a C4D or brush set instead of a stock? My brain is in holiday mode so someone deciding for me would be great. :grin:

Think I'm skipping this week.

Whatever happened to the LargePiece contests? I know it wasn't that popular, but we had at least three entries sometimes, :sad2: I miss them.
 
LPC kinda died after Mark had one entry for about six weeks running... I wouldn't mind it coming back, though, I really liked running it. =/

Wonder what Mark and Vikki think about starting it again... :hmmm:

I mean, well, to be honest, I can't say I know anymore, but back then a few people were interested in it. :hmmm: I still am... Sure I don't always enter, but I kinda miss the freedom of larger pieces. :gonk: It just kinda... disappeared. :hmmm:

Understandable if it died out for a while 'cause of the lack of entries, but maybe swiping that and going to a new theme might've worked. I dunno.
 
Its easy for people to say though 'yeah im really interested' then never bother entering. Im guilty of that myself. >.<
I think i entered the first one and that was it. LArge pieces are quite time consuming and when i make them i have to be into the theme. Unlike sotw sometimes where i can just throw a quick sig together, LPs take time with me :hmmm:
Would be cool to see it back though.

We're not "too busy" to run it, we just decided to scrap it for now because it just wasn't getting any attention, from either GFX makers, or members - one won with only two votes.

We'll be bringing it back eventually, as we've been discussing it quite a lot lately, we're just working out the kinks.

It most likely won't be back over summer though, since then that's a false sense of activity.

Lol, nothing wrong with organizing small contests like we did with the clan battles, as members, I would assume.

I thought it was a 2weeks setting kinda thing. I think if it were set to a month people would forget about it, but 3 weeks sounds decent. Even the two weeks thing was decent for me personally. But keeping in my you might get busy sometimes, 3 weeks sounds fair.

All in all, I'd like to see it again. Even if I didn't enter, t'was inspiring to see the other entries.
 
Pretty upset to see LPC go, seeing as LPs are my best thing...I wouldn't mind bringing it back
 
We were thinking of making it a monthly, or even bi-monthly contest. Every two weeks was too often, and we just didn't get the entries or the votes to keep it going. What do you guys think?
