[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra

Theme-Mountains Hidden in the Mist

With the number of people rapidly increasing, the realization of the death of General Gisale and the current situation regarding Burmecia and Cleyra. Anne slowly stood up. Although Robert offered assistance, Annelise said, "Thanks, I'll be fine though." Both Robert and Ricard had legitimate reasons for their next plans, but rather than argue on a cliff where they are likely to be ambushed, it would be better to just retreat to Burmecia. The new travelers was thoughtful enough to give her three potions to use between the group.

"Here miss brown haired knight. Out of the knights here, you look like someone who would do better in the leader position and you are not that bad looking youself. I'll expect you to pay me back for those potions soon enough."

Anne gave the traveler a weak smile before saying, "Thanks."

Without so much as a word, Anne began limping forward down the path, however, she didn't go far, walking towards and turning towards Stephen, "Just plant the sword here. I don't want to be troubled with bad memories..."

Anne began the trek down the mountain, hopefully with everyone in tow. Despite Ricard's prefering the others leave, they may as well follow if they want to escape the mountain.

Fortunately, the mountain wasn't tall, and they should be able to escape the mountain with only a few monster encounters.

----
The Bishop

"So they survived..." The Bishop said as she saw the few travelers coming down the mountain. Since she summoned the beast, The Bishop was heading down the mountain from an alternate path, avoiding anyone heading in the opposite direction.

One of the Genome soldiers traveling with her on chocobo came close to her, he had a stern look, easily hidden underneath his helmet. "Lady General, we've recieved word from the front and we have informed His Majesty, Lord Cyril. The Cleyran Stadtholder has surrendered the nation to us."

The Bishop closed her eyes for a moment, "Good, I shall join him after I take care of some loose ends..."

"Lady General...?"

"Leave my sight, unless you plan to die here."
The startled Genome turned his Chocobo around and headed back in the direction of Cleyra. She looked back up the mountain, her desire to complete her mission flawlessly being the only thing on her mind.

Rior Laistan

Rior sighed. These idiots were more stubborn than he was. Why wouldn't you take aid happily from people who were willing to supply it?

"You don't have a reason. But will that stop you from receiving aid when it comes?" Lan muttered looking at Ricard.

"As you can clearly see this crash was no accident and the cause of this is no doubt approaching us. Unless you plan to join the rest of the deceased here I'd advise you leave us, this is no business of travelers we can barely trust not to put a knife in our backs."

"And yet you are continuing on with what little aid you have. Come on Rior. These 'knights' know what they are doing. Let's get to Burmieca, restock and head to Clerya. I heard that the food there is great and they are in need of aid."

Rior listened to the two, the guy named Ricard seemed to be untrusting and a bit of a snob... Rior grew an instant disliking towards him. He turned to follow Lan but stopped.

"No Lan, lets follow them. I know they're not really friendly and are rather rude" He paused, looking at Ricard with a raised eyebrow. "But they're knights, I can tell, their mission is probably to help defend Clerya, and that's my goal."

He turned to the brown haired girl who was heading down the mountain and followed her.

He caught up and asked "You were sent here to defend Cleyra right? Before your Airship crashed? I have healing magic, let my little buddy and I tag along, We can be useful." He smiled at the girl. She seemed smart enough to know that Healing magic would be a great asset in their travels.

Stephen nodded when the female knight instructed him to leave the sword behind, so he unsheathed it and stabbed the blade into the ground. so it stood vertical "rest now knights of Alexadria" Stephen muttered before heading down the mountain behind the female knight, he wondered just how much these knights would trust him, and the two who had just shown up, one of which wielding a claw weapon, the other a sword.

Stephen knew that if he was to use either his magic or his Eidolin then he would incriminate himself wrongly in the destruction of their Airship and the slaughter of their comrades, ad apparently their commanding officer. ~i guess i will have to rely on my fists and feet for a while~ Stephen thought to himself, ~at least until the culprit shows his or her face~ Stephen continued his train of thought as he moved.

Robert Crescent

"Alright, but if you need help, let me know." Robert said to Annelise. Robert would follow her lead, but his ears would be attuned to their surroundings. There were always monsters in the area due to the lingering mists. While there was much less mist after the death of the Ilfa Tree, it was never truly going to go away. He'd leave Ricard to keep an eye on the tag-alongs, just in case they were sent to delay or spy. Aside form keeping everyone who survived alive during through trek to Burmecia, his primary thought was to warn King Puck of the enemy's ability to call forth Eidolons, or at the very least the horse Eidolon. Burmecia would not be caught unprepared and by surprise a second time.

Turning his back on the group Ricard followed a short distance behind Annelise, the last thing they needed so soon after crashing was a bunch of randomers showing up, if they found them so easily the enemy would be on them in no time. Even if, presumably, these people had no malicious intent their arrival was far from innocently timed, he'd have to keep his guard up around them until he could trust them.

However that was a secondary priority right now, primarily he had to arrive with the rest of the group in Burmecia. From there they could discuss the better course of action, proceeding against impossible odds to save Cleyra or reporting this, as far as Ricard was concerned vital information to Alexandria.

Though Ricard was far from well seasoned in warfare, as far as he was concerned pride and honour would only get you killed out here, as long as you survive you can regain your precious honour in other ways, life is full of chances and possibilities after all. Though on the reverse, life was also precious, though what hope did they have of helping anyone? Assuming that the Cleyrans were captured rather than killed they could just come back with reinforcements and save them all rather than a few in their limited numbers.

Ricard stopped thinking at this point, it was better to contain this until he could discuss this with the others, it wasnt doing him any good picking the lesser of two evils right now.

Lan Ester:

"No Lan, lets follow them. I know they're not really friendly and are rather rude. But they're knights, I can tell, their mission is probably to help defend Clerya, and that's my goal."

Lan sighed as he looked back to Rior and shrugged.

"If you want. I just want to get to Clerya soon." Lan muttered as he looked around. Looking around the area with the rain falling, Lan took in a deep breath as he looks back at the mountain top.

"What took their airship out and who is responsible for that?" Lan muttered to himself while turning back and continued to walk towards Burmieca.

OOC: Shity post here. But what can you do?

Garnet Til Alexandros XVII, Queen of Alexandria

Garnet had only just returned from the Airship port when a Guard approached her. Curious, but otherwise mindful of her manners, she smiled, asking,"What is it?"

"There is a man asking for an audience, Your Majesty."

It has been some time since her last audience with a member of the public, so this request was well received. Garnet always enjoyed listening to the woes of her people. At least knowing would allow her to do something to help; here, an opportunity has arose.

"Alrighty!"

"Uh, Your Majesty?"

Garnet sighed. Her time with Zidane, especially after marriage, made it harder for her to forget that she wasn't supposed to use that term.

"I mean, take me to him."

With an embarrassed expression, Garnet followed after the Guard.

Alleria Stormseeker

Being the only Genome of the group, she must have been the outsider. Even as the conversation proceeded, no one seem to pay her much attention. As far as her knighthood was concerned, she was fine, but deep within, she was somewhat upset. Still, this was not a place to display her resentment.

More so with the appearance of some 'random' passerby. It wasn't all so bad however, considering the fact that these two were Genomes.

Following Annelise and gang, but slowing down to walk alongside Lan and Rior, she struck up a conversation with them.

"You two are Genomes as well?"

The one named Lan was apparently the son of Mikoto - yet another oft-mentioned figure in her textbooks. She was starting to believe that fate must be playing a joke on her, sending the children of famous people around her.

First Annelise, now Rior. The next thing Alleria felt she should figure was if Robert was the son of Freya or Fratley. Now that would be a shocker.

"How did you guys wind up being sent to defend Cleyra?"

[OOC: Apologies for the slow post.

@Emperor Lelouch Responded. Just have your character be in some formal setting, and GM Garnet into the room.

@The Rest Alleria still doesn't know the names of Robert, Ricard and Stephen. If I'm not wrong, everyone who had been on the ship never introduced themselves to the newcomers, and for some, to those who would not have known them - E.G. Robert to Alleria, Ricard to Alleria perhaps... A kind of plot hole in the making, I guess. Maybe we ought to do that along the way to Burmercia?]

"Alright, but if you need help, let me know."

"You were sent here to defend Cleyra right? Before your Airship crashed? I have healing magic, let my little buddy and I tag along, We can be useful."

Despite the reassurances from Robert and the Genome traveler, and requests to join the group, Anne gave a weak smile and a nod.

As the party traveled down the mountain, Anne began wondering who, or what, caused someone to summon a creature like that. A monster like that...doesn't deserve to live. Not after what she witnessed, what they have been through.

The foot of the mountain was not too far from where they had crashed, and as the party would reach the area, they came across a black-robed, white haired woman with a staff. Her deep green eyes matched those from the forest, and yet despite the somber atmosphere, and her clothes drenched in rain, she still maintained an air of grace.

"Who are you?" Anne asked the woman, but she did not respond. Anne decided to ask again, "Excuse me, but who are you, and what are you doing here?" Again, she recieved no response from her, and as Annelise walked up towards her, the knight held her sword by the handle, ready to draw in case she did something funny.

As she got closer, only then did the staff wielding female spoke, "So you must be the survivors from that Airship crash...What an interesting crew you have."

"What?"

"I am the Bishop, one of the Six Lord-Generals of the Kingdom of Oeilvert, loyal only to our Lord, and the man I love."

Annelise drew her sword, and gripping it on both hands, stood at a ready stance against this Bishop. Her wounds have not fully healed, and she was having a bit of a problem trying to hold her blade steady.

"Were you the one that attacked the airship?" Anne asked sternly, her anger rising. The knight held her Broadsword steady, hoping to get her answer immediately.

Theme-Battle 2

"What if I did? It would not matter. Just like Cleyra fell..." As The Bishop said this, she waved her staff around, causing a large lightning bolt to strike the earth beyond her, from this bolt was a bird, or rather, a flying serpent like creature with wings on the sides.

"...You and your comrades, shall too fall to the might of Oeilvert!!!"

Rior Laistan

Lan eventually followed Rior who was following the girl with the brown hair. He heard Lan muttering something about wanting to go to Clerya, but he ignored it for now. They'd get their chance...the only reason he travelled with Lan in the first place was because of his map... as harsh as that sounded... but he did kind of like the little guy.

"You two are Genomes as well?" Came a voice from behind.

Rior turned to look. It turned out to be the violet haired Genome that was standing with the group earlier.

"Yep... that we are." He said blandly as he looked over her clothing. Her clothing was strange....and she was obviously a knight of some sort but he'd never really seen one dressed like that before... well ok.. he'd never seen a knight ever but the Black Mages had told him about the knights.

"How did you guys wind up being sent to defend Cleyra?"

Rior thought about telling the truth...but what would be the fun in that? Would these knights really want two inexperienced fighters tagging along with them?

"Well." He paused as he concocted his lie. "We've been secretly trained deep within The Black Mage Village. No one suspects there to be a military base there, We were sent on foot to prevent the enemy from knowing we were coming..." He put on his serious voice wondering if anyone would buy that...

"What about you, what are y--" He was caught off guard when a robed figure appeared in front of them.

"So you must be the survivors from that Airship crash...What an interesting crew you have." she said with a wicked tone. "I am the Bishop, one of the Six Lord-Generals of the Kingdom of Oeilvert, loyal only to our Lord, and the man I love."

"Were you the one that attacked the airship?" Came the brown haired girls reply..

Rior watched with his eyebrows crunched. Their ship was attacked?? He thought it was just caught in a thunder storm.

"What if I did? It would not matter. Just like Cleyra fell..."

Suddenly a lightning strike hit the ground, a flying creature forming from where it hit. It was vicious, evil and ready to strike.

"...You and your comrades, shall too fall to the might of Oeilvert!!!"

"No...." Rior whispered to himself. He was not ready for a fight like this... he just finished telling his lie about being a great warrior too...He gripped his sword, and stood in his battle stance ready to fight if needed.

Alleria Stormseeker

"We've been secretly trained deep within The Black Mage Village. No one suspects there to be a military base there, We were sent on foot to prevent the enemy from knowing we were coming..."

Alleria never knew about this. That, and it all sounded dubious. For one, if it were 'secret', why would he reveal it? Two, they certainly looked too lax for people on a mission. In fact, it seemed almost as if they sneaked out. Nevertheless, Alleria saw no reason to doubt them for now, and even if they were lying, so long there was no harm done, she didn't want to pursue it.

Especially now, when things started to get messy all over again.

A robed figure appeared in their path. She was quite a sinister presence, with white hair to match her contrasting black robes. Annelise questioned this lady, edging closer as she started to appear more tense. Alleria knew something was going to turn out wrong, more so, noticing how Annelise was preparing to shift into a stance.

"Rior," She hissed. "And Lan, stay back."

She may not have realized it, but she let slip the fact that she didn't buy their story.

"I am the Bishop, one of the Six Lord-Generals of the Kingdom of Oeilvert, loyal only to our Lord, and the man I love."

Oeilvert. She didn't look like a Genome, at least, from the front - Alleria couldn't see her tail to confirm that for now - but that would matter less in such a scenario.

"Were you the one that attacked the airship?"

"What if I did? It would not matter. Just like Cleyra fell..."

Drawing her broadsword now, Alleria dashed forward to stand at Annelise's side. Meanwhile, the Bishop summons an avian monster.

"...You and your comrades, shall too fall to the might of Oeilvert!!!"

"What's this?! Out of the frying pan and into the open fire?"

Gripping her sword, she started to focus inwardly. This is the moment she had been waiting for. A battle with a real foe. It still felt like an ordinary fight with the monster on the plains of Ipsen, but here, she was going to have more worthy allies than she did.

Here, she would have to show what it meant to be an Ipsen Knight.

... And maybe, her swordsmanship along the way. Nevertheless, she was an Ipsen Knight for now, and her duty lies in following orders.

"Annelise. My blade is yours. Command me as you will."

Garnet Til Alexandros XVII, Queen of Alexandria

It was a surprise that this person before her was actually here to be a Knight, rather than to voice some grievances for her to resolve. Zidane and herself had already enough bodyguards in the form of the Flaming Amarant, the Alexandrian Army, as well as the Pluto Knights. They were all dependable, and trustworthy.

Not that Garnet mistrusted this individual, but she felt guilty in taking in another bodyguard. It was like saying she did not trust her existing guards.

Yet it was just as bad for her to turn him down, especially since he came all the way to Alexandria to fulfill a wish of a deceased friend.

Garnet grimaced, struggling with herself to make a good decision. Finally, after a quiet moment of deliberation, she replied.

"I appreciate your offer, uh," She struggled, realizing she never caught his name. "Uh, my dearest Genome friend. At this point in time, I have more than ample protection in the form of the Alexandrian Army and the Pluto Knights. There is even the Flaming Amarant protecting us... But I see that you have made quite an effort in coming here, and you are also bound by honor to fulfill a friend's last wish... Perhaps, you could seek out Amarant and prove yourself to him. If he accepts you, then I shall as well."

It was a win-win situation - or rather, she pushed the decision away. She was still feeling somewhat guilty, however, realizing that Amarant himself is not that easy to find.

"It will be quite a test indeed. From what I understand, Amarant will not accept you easily, and he may not be easy to find..."

[OOC: Emperor Lelouch @Terrible Terry Tatte Perhaps a chance for the two characters to interact? Unless Amarant has other plans, then Aaron will have to go looking.]

Aaron:I'm Sorry Mi'lady I forgot to mention my name,I'm not quite used to speaking formally,My Name is Aaron Sohm and As for this Amarant I'll try to search him out,I've come to far to turn back now.

"It will be quite a test indeed. From what I understand, Amarant will not accept you easily, and he may not be easy to find..."

As they began to reach the bottom of the mountain, the group encountered a robed woman who didn't even bother hiding her identity as their enemy. Readying his sword he approached her, stopping as she summoned a strange creature. Obviously this was the summoner who brought their airship down, yet where was her horn? And why was she using Eidolons unknown to the world?

Pointing his sword at the woman Ricard quickly knew how to fight this battle, the Eidolon is nothing if it's summoner gets killed, all he had to do was slay her and the threat was gone, she didn't seem the type to have any self defense skills, only her Eidolon could defend her.

All he had to do was wait till the Eidolon was distracted and strike this 'Bishop' woman. However, with there being an Eidolon here, he couldn't afford to let down his guard, was it even possible for a human to kill an Eidolon?

Stephen was wondering whether or not this group of soldiers and random people were in any danger from those who had destroyed the Airship whilst they were descending the mountain, but his question soon answered itself, stood before them was a robed lady, a self proclaimed Bishop who was in love with her superior officer.

"this isn't going to end well" Stephen muttered before she summoned another thunder Eidolon, Another flash of Valefore came to Stephen, clearly his own Eidolon wanted some action, but the flash was so vivid it caused Stephen to stumble slightly. Stephen took note of all the other preparing for a fight, but non making the fist move.

"Screw this" Stephen announced before Extending his palms in the direction of the Eidolon "Fire!" he announced as a small flame burst popped underneath the Eidolon, but it had almost no effect, asides seemingly making the beast angry, and it retaliated, Nailing Stephen in the shoulder with a thunderbolt and knocking him back and causing him to slam hard into the ground, Slowly picking himself up he looked at the Bishop, Pain in his eyes "that was a dumb idea" Stephen muttered as he managed to reach his feet "Don't attack Eidolons, they retaliate, the monks taught me that" he added before shaking the proverbial cobwebs out of his head and readying himself for some action.

Lan Ester

"You two are Genomes as well?

Lan smiled a bit as his tail waved behind him. "Is it that hidden?" Lan asked poking fun at the genome knight. After that, Lan ignored the conversation until he saw a black robed figure.

The figure identified herself as a general in the Olivert army named Bishop. Lan got his claws on as Bishop summoned a flying who knows what that being is.

"
"Rior and Lan, stay back."

With that, the genome knight rushed to aid her fellow knights as Lan looked at Rior.

"Ri, Aim your magic at Bishop. I'll help the knights out." Lan muttered as he ran up beside the knights and took his stance while another warrior got blasted by a bolt of lighting.

"Don't attack Eidolons, they retaliate, the monks taught me that."

"Oh sure, Don't attack it, let it rip us apart." Lan muttered as he decided to bait the bird to him and him only.

"My oh my, I doubt it can handle goblins let alone us." Lan taunted remembering that goblins are weak to any decently trained fighter.

The response to that taunt, a steady stream of magic sent towards Lan as he stepped forwards a bit and started dodging the magic, but barely while a few clipped him. "Someone get that damned general! Woah!" Lan yelled as he felt fire bursting dangerously close to him.

Robert Crescent

"Don't pride yourself on conquering a defenseless city, coward. This world has enjoyed over a decade of peace, and now your lord seeks to bring death and suffering about once more, all for a simple bid of power so your lord can force his desires upon the people of the world. Well, the madness ends here. You war mongering jack-offs will proceed no further!" Robert spoke, his heart filled with rage. Not so much over the fact that Cleyra fell, or at least that she said it did, but that people like her would willingly bring about so much death and suffering to the world and the people who have already suffered enough, simply for their own desires.

Robert's body began crackling with energy from his heightened emotional state until his body was covered in a veil of energy, causing him to enter a Trance state. His bowl-cut golden blond hair stood up with a spiky, super sayian-like appearance, and his armor had a more aerodynamic look.

While one of his comrades made the mistake of attacking the Eidolon, Robert knew that the best way to deal with an Eidolon was to take out the summoner. Robert lunged high up into the air, out or reach of most any attack. At the peak of his jump, Robert swung his lance first from left to right, then spun himself to swing the lance downwards, creating a cross-like arch of wind blades. Once Robert's lance thrusted down into the center of the cross, his entire body became surrounded with draconic energy as he rocketed downwards directly at Bishop. Upon impacting the target site, regardless of if Bishop moved or not, the impact would cause a strong outward explosion of energy, releasing several wind scythes outwards at both the summoner and the summoned.

Robert would summersault backwards away from the explosive attack and land back beside his allies, his Tranced state fading out, his body and armor returning to normal. While he could not hold the trace state beyond his jump attack, the ferocity and power of it more than made up for the short duration of it.

Lan managed to dodge a few more magics from the bird when he saw something glow. One look told him that the burmecian knight went into trance.

"Trance?! I thought only Zidane, his group and Kuja were the only people able to use trance." Lan asked before taking a full brunt hit of a blizzard right to his back, staggering him a bit. Turning around, Lan rushed towards the serpent and sliced at it's tail, leaving a decent gash on it. The serpent roared as it whipped it's tail towards Lan. Lan jumped over the tail and stabbed his claws into the serpent. The claws decided to take Lan for a ride as it embedded itself deeply in the Serpent's body. Lan tried to pull his claw out before being wrenched forward by the tail's momentum.

"Ah Crraaaaaaaaappppp!" Lan yelled as the serpent did it's best to throw Lan off of it's tail.

Alleria Stormseeker

The battle was getting nowhere, with Alleria simply looking for an opportunity to strike without getting badly knocked down. She was a melee-based fighter, which meant she had little to no magic spells for ranged battling. While she contemplated the notion of an all-out frontal assault, it was apparent that it will only result in her getting knocked back.

The others did not seem to have any better strategies though, so she was about to do it when the playing field changed.

"Is that... Trance?!"

Although Alleria never actually experienced magic first-hand, she could actually feel the energy emanating from the Dragon Knight. It was as the textbooks had mentioned. Trance was a state of heightened emotions that unlocks an individual's full potential.

Feeling his strength first hand was proof of that.

"Trance?! I thought only Zidane, his group and Kuja were the only people able to use trance."

"Wrong! Remember what the textbooks said about Kuja's words? He discovered that Trance can be induced. Ergo, if I'm not wrong, anyone can go into Trance, given the right stimulus!"

It was all theory, but it fit in with the situation.

Though clearly, it wasn't the most appropriate of time to voice this revelation, as the serpent blasted a Blizzard spell that hit her directly, knocking her off her feet.

Meanwhile, Lan rushes at the serpent, and succeeds in catching his claw in the tail of the serpent. It quickly revealed itself to be a bad decision, as Lan ends up getting dragged along by the serpent.

"Ah Crraaaaaaaaappppp!"

"Beautiful."

Hissing under her breath, she started focusing on the serpent. She sees it, and rushes forward.

"Power Break."

Uttering the name of her attack under her breath, she times her attack well enough to hit the sides of the serpent, lacerating the beast. It wasn't particularly deep, but it should hurt it enough to release Lan... Hopefully.

The Bishop saw some monk use a Fire Spell to damage her summon, Quetzalcoatl. She smiled though, since she knew such a weak spell would not be effective against a Eidolon like him. The retaliatory Thunder spell that put the man on his back gave her a chuckle. "Really, is that all you got?" The Bishop taunted, "Come now, surely you can do better."

"Don't pride yourself on conquering a defenseless city, coward. This world has enjoyed over a decade of peace, and now your lord seeks to bring death and suffering about once more, all for a simple bid of power so your lord can force his desires upon the people of the world. Well, the madness ends here. You war mongering jack-offs will proceed no further!"

The Bishop covered her eyes as she saw the rat glow, his hair standing up and his armor changing shape. "So the rat can Trance too...No matter, it shall be over quick."

However before the Bishop maneuvered to begin a spell, she saw Robert jump into the air and fall back to the ground, swinging his spear to create several wind-blades before his standard jump attack. The Bishop jumped up, and without hesitation shouted, "Aero!!!" The spell created a wind gust that sent the Summoner higher up into the air to avoid the damaging attack, whilst the wind blades headed towards her and Quetzalcoatl. She used another Aero spell to avoid most of these, although two of them managed to get a good deep cut on her left shoulder.

As the Bishop was distracted with Robert's attack and her injury, Annelise moved forward as quickly as possible. The Summoner started to descend to the ground, using her Float spell to slow her descent. What she didn't expect however was a single Alexandrian Knight about to intercept her as she was landing.

She wasn't going to hesitate on this, she was too proud for her to lose to mere weakling such as them. Quickly twirling her staff, she used a simple Blue Magic spell, shooting out an Orange orb that lobbed off her staff like a Grenade Launcher. Annelise had to dodge quickly, diving to the side to avoid the resulting explosion from the intense heat of the attack.

"Did you think that I would be easy to beat? Please, me or Quetzalcoatl, either way, your heads would make for an excellent trophy for His Majesty."

OOC: The battle will end when the Bishop is severely wounded or Quetzalcoatl is dead. Either way, she'll be forced to retreat.

Robert Crescent

"Rule no# 1 of battle: Never underestimate your opponent." Robert remarked before he began to charge and shouted orders. "Anyone who can heal, tend to the most wounded. One person cover the healer, One person keep that bird distracted. Caster, focus your spells on the summoner, melee fighters on the summoner. The easiest way to beat an Eidolon is to kill its summoner!" Robert shouted.

As the summoner attacked Annelise, Robert used his powerful legs to jump over his comrade to try and slash Bishop before she could let loose with another spell. His plan was simple: overwhelm the summoner and have everyone capable of attacking her keep up the pressure while at least one person kept the group alive and another kept the bird Eidolon from aiding its mistress.
