I think most of us have done it, played a game beat it, replayed it again, beat it, and maybe replayed it again and beat it.

So a couple of questions

1. What game have you beat the most (that you can remember)
2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?
3. Why do you continue to replay the game?

1. That I can remember Shining Force 2
2. Yes it does, I mean it's still great, but it gets to where I can play it without any real challenge anymore
3. Because it is such an amazing game, unique, and can be very long and fun with amazing story (even if it is a little more childish than the first one story wise)

1. Pokemon Silver :reptar:
2. At the time, no. It was so much fun for me as a child.
3. I can't really remember. I loved Pokemon when I was young (and still do) and I got so much joy out of playing it over and over. Now I can only get through the games once and don't really care much to play them again.

Other games I've replayed more recently are Deus Ex and Mother 3

Deus Ex:

2. No, it doesn't. Every time I've played through it I find new things and try different ways to take on each level. The replay value of this game is crazy. And I like being able to choose a different ending each time.

3. It's just an amazing game, and the only old PC game I will never stop playing. Going on my third playthrough of this year :gasp:

Mother 3 :inlove:

2. Nope. I absolutely love the story and battle system to this game and really can't get enough of it.

3. Because I love the characters and plot and always enjoy playing it. I've played through it 3 times. Once before the translation patch and twice after it finally came out.

3 games :yay:

1. What game have you beat the most (that you can remember)-Disgaea 2

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?-Never I always enjoy playing this game for constantly leveling to 9999 and I always aim to beat my old Damage amount :D

3. Why do you continue to replay the game?-As I said before it has a ton of replay value,I can play the story again,Reincarnate my Characters to Relevel them and make them even stronger,Go into Item world to hunt for new Weapons and Armor, etc. :D

1. What game have you beat the most?
Dragon Age: Origins, I think

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?
Yes and No. It loses some of it, as I know where I'm going and what I'm doing, but at the same time I'm still capable of having fun on it, and certain things still amuse me as much as they did the first time - party banter, the Elder Tree, etc.

3. Why do you continue to replay the game?
Because it's an enjoyable game, and it offers variety. I can pick a different class, or some different options for the story. It leads into Awakening as well, so I've still got some options to explore.

1. What game have you beaten the most
I'm pretty sure it's Super Mario World

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?
Yes and no. If I play it too soon after beating it, I get a little bored, but after waiting for long enough, it gets fun again

3. Why do you continue to play the game
I never get bored of playing any Mario game, and this one is probably the best side-scrolling ones

Ah yeds.
The game that I have beaten the most is probably Uncharted 2. I beat it 4 times on Easy, Medium, Hard and Crushing, I also played through a lot of it on very easy or whatever it is called so that I could get all the treasures that I missed as well as getting the trophies for x amount of kills with certain guns and the trophies for weakening people with gunfire etc.
Did it lose anything through the playthroughs? Yes of course it did, there were no surprises and I knew all the story etc, but because i knew it I was able to think of different ways to do things. Some parts on Crushing were still challenging even though I knew what to do.
I played it that many times to get the platinum trophy. However it's one of the few games that I've enjoyed enough to be bothered with playing it through four times. So you could say that I replayed it that many times because I enjoyed it so much.
mhm aha.

super mario world or Sonic I guess

And no, I dont think either of them will ever lose the magic or enjoyment I get out of them

I kinda wanna play Super Mario World again now...

Either those or FFVII, coz am a sad cunt, and yes, Ive abused the game so much its defo lost the magic for me now

1) The game I beat the Most was Final Fantasy Tactics I cant count how many times Ive played it. It was the first game I played and replayed the game many times as I got older.

2) Yes Im still just as amazed to hear the great music, the classic style of gameplay was one of my favorites and Ill never forget the story or the characters, I rmeember the job skill gltich from it.

3) Mainly cause its a great game, good enough to make me wanna re-live the story, see the old characters i first experienced all over again.

1. What game have you beat the most (that you can remember)
Spyro: Year of the Dragon I think...

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?

The feeling kinda changed. When I was a kid and my parents first bought me the game, I thought the graphics and world were amazing! I'd been so used to simplicity in style. The colours and characters opened up my eyes to what could be done with the PS1, and I loved it. The gameplay was so much fun, too.

On my last playthrough, the 'amazing feeling' was down to nostalgia, and reminding myself of the details in the game I had once loved, and still love!

3. Why do you continue to replay the game?
I don't... I've only ever completed a couple of games twi... Oh wait...

Okay, so I've completed Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire three times... And Red/Green a few as well... And Silver/Crystal... They're just addictive. On replay, it's not AS good because the sense of adventure I had as a kid has gone. I'm not as dedicated to the game anymore, though I still think they're great and don't like to delete my files!

1. What game have you beat the most (that you can remember)

There were the random Sega games I played as a kid like Sonic and I would play that over and over again. LOVED that game. I especially loved playing two player. XD I always shit my brother off when I stole all the gold rings/coins or whatever they were when we were in that vortex thing. Can't hardly remember it now. :sad3:

In my more recent years it would be Final Fantasy X though. Beaten it around 5 or 6 times now.

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?

Nope, because I leave it long enough between play throughs to allow myself to forget certain things and make it enjoyable when I do play it again.

3. Why do you continue to replay the game?

I love the storyline and the characters. Yuna is my all time favourite Final Fantasy character. (Aside from when she turned into a hoe in X-2. Sad times.)

I was just able to really connect with the game and enjoy it the whole way through. It was all emotional for me. XD

1. What game have you beat the most (that you can remember)
That I can remember, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I must have beat the game a good dozen times, easily. In fact, I recently completed a run through of both Uncharted and Uncharted 2 last week in preparation of Uncharted 3 :lew: Uncharted 2 must definitely come in a close second though.

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?
In terms of the story then of course, the story is great when you first play the game and possibly even more so the second times (although the twists and surprises are no longer there) and is also very good when you haven't played the game in a while. But I love the characters more so than the story and I really enjoy the gameplay which is most definitely the reason why I can keep going back to play it.

3. Why do you continue to replay the game?
As stated above, I really enjoy the characters, especially their witty personalities and the battle system is enjoyable although at certain times can be mildly frustrating :lew:

1. What game have you beat the most (that you can remember)
The game I have beaten the most is Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, I beaten the game three times.

2. Does the game start to lose that amazing feeling it had when you first played it?

Yes, because I already know how to play it, it starts to lose that amazing feeling. I wish I can just forget completely on how to play so I can experience that feeling again.:hmmm:

3. Why do you continue to replay the game?

Hmmm, not sure why.
