Everyone has chores of some sort, whether or be from home or work. What is that one chore that just drives you insane?

Mine would be taking out trash but luckily my Husband does that one. So, aside from trash, I absolutely despise doing dishes. It is awfully tedious, makes my hands wrinkle and dry, and I very much dislike dealing with others half-eaten food. I just find it disgusting.

LOL I'm beginning to think you and I have a lot in common, Synlea. :wacky: I DESPISE doing the dishes. I can't stand putting my hands in the water and feeling soggy food floating around in there. It totally turns my stomach. I tell my husband "Look, I do the cooking for you and Logan, you boys can wash up the dishes afterward!" It's only fair, I say.

dishes, just GAGH hate them beyaond all beief, and its always at the worst times they need doin...

I hate taking out the trash AND doing the dishes. :wacky:

Unfortunately, since I live alone, I have to do both. I do have a dishwasher though which I use frequently but sometimes there just aren't enough dishes to justify running the dishwasher.

Taking out the trash just absolutely disgusts me. I always end up washing my hands like three times afterwards. Plus the dumpsters are ALWAYS closed. Since I'm short, it takes a lot of effort to actually open them. I have to use both hands and they're always sticky; I feel like I need a shower afterward. -__-

I wish I had a dishwasher. -__- It doesn't matter for me though, washing the dishes isn't a big deal, because there are so much less when you live alone.

I hate cleaning anything with bleach. You always have to be very careful to not let it get on your cloths and you can't get the smell off your hands that easily. Cleaning the bathtub is really a pain!

Hoovering. I did it the other day and god, I felt so much pain/tired, I sweatted all over the place. I had to do both down and upstairs, which made it even worse.

I don't mind doing most chores but the main one is the rubbish.

It's not that it bothers me to take it out and then wheel it down for the rubbish man to take away, it's the fact that I have to do it right before work.

When I get up in the morning I have a shower, get all nice and clean for work and then I have to touch the dirty old rubbish bin. <_<

I feel icky instantly and just want another shower.

Steve used to always take it out, but now that his shifts start at 12 in the middle of the day, he isn't up early enough to take out the bin and he always forgets to do it the night before.

I would do it the night before, but I hate going outside of the house alone in the dark and Steve doesn't get home till late. So I can't do it while he's there either.

So yeah. I hate taking out the rubbish. XD

Trash I don't mind, feeding the chameleon with crickets I don't mind, feeding the cats I don't mind, doing the dishes.. short work so I don't mind...

My most hated is cleaning out the cat box...

We have a 17 cat so he goes every hour basically.. piss or shiznit. You name it and it smells god awful.

I DESPISE hoovering and ironing, and emptying the washing machine

Hoovering takes the piss though, its noisy and makes me sweat, I usually end up causing my self an injury aswel, last time it fell down the stairs and hit me on the shoulder. there should be laws against hoovering stairs. Ugh. It's broke now aswel, after falling down the stairs on me, it blew up -__-

Ironing does my HEAD in, i just cant DO it. I can never get all the creases out, and I always seem to want to wear stuff thats has FAR too much material and it takes FOREVER. Plus I always burn myself, got afew iron related scars up my arms ¬_¬

i try to wear stuff that doesnt need ironing day to day :wacky:

Washing up. We have quite a few piss-ups here so the washing up tends to get quite crazy. Also I dislike laundry and remembering to take the bins out. Hoovering can fuck off too.

Oddly enough I don't otherwise mind general cleaning around the house.

Since i live by myself except for my ferret

i'd say it's doing laundry. I don't bother folding my clothes, the clean ones are in their own separate laundry basket from the dirty ones

then it's probably cleaning up Cheese's poo

i find ironing the worse household chore of all just so damn boring. i can do the dishes find as i find myself in my own little world.

Washing the dishes. I especially hate cleaning the grill pan because even the wire scrapper is useless when trying to get the muck off it  And the tray doesn't fit into my sink so I have to clean one side, then flip it over and clean the other one :rage:

I'd have to say laundry - more specifically folding. The actual sorting, loading, unloading etc isn't too bad because you get a 60 minute break for every 5 minutes of work. But f me in the a if I'm going to hurry to fold 2-3 baskets full of clean clothes (including a few bazillion socks).

Vaccuming is a close second but only so because we have a dog that sheds like a sonofabitch. We could litterally vaccum every day.

As an aside - I have to say I absolutely adore reading some of the slang from you all in the UK. "Hoovering takes the piss" - that's gold.

Laundry, mostly because before we can even do it, we need to run to the bank first to get a roll of quarters. -_- And then when we come back, we find that someone has occupied the laundry room. So we wait for a few more hours. Then folding and putting away the clothes is of course the most boring thing ever.

Dishes I don't mind that much - I'm used to it. Vacuuming - used to it as well. Mopping the floor can be quite irritating though.

Well despite working in a restaurant to cook I will always cook the simpliest stuff for myself or my roomates. I just get tierd of grandiose dishes that flop or I guess the fact I'm spoiled by gourmet ingridients

=/ I never know where to put stuff... I don't know what to classify that under. I would say cleaning? But the rest of it, I'm fine with... Vacuum, dust, wipe counter tops, clean the windows, mop, laundry, etc... But I never know where the hell things go...

I guess that alone could make me hate cleaning altogether? Since I don't know what else to consider it. ~o~

I can't say i like doing chores but if no one does them then nothing gets done, and i hate when things just pile up on top of them. I do them so i can do other things like relaxing and gaming. Though if there are other people that can do them as well they should. I don't mind cleaning and all but if i'm the only one doing it all the time when others could once in awhile then thats just bullshit.

OMG that sounds rather annoying. =0

I've always had my own laundry room at home so I've never had to do that luckily. I'd probably never do it if I had to go somewhere especially to do it. >_<

I think I've already said this, but I freakin' hate taking out the bin. :gonk:

I hate touching the bin. It makes me feel dirty. Especially since I usually take it out just before I get in my car to go to work. I've already showered and then I instantly feel icky all over again.

Steve used to take it out, but he's been rather lazy/forgetful lately. <_<
