If you knew you were to be stranded on an island...

1. An airplane.
2. Airplane flying lessons.
3. A map and compass to help me on my immediate departing of this island via airplane.
4. If all else fails, a pilot who can fly the airplane.
5. Enough fuel for the airplane. I'm not making that silly mistake again.
 
Guess I can bring a boat in one piece, as it is too big.
And the same goes for airplane or helicopter...

But I definitely not gonna stay away from my PC & PS3 for too long!!!

So what I'll take:


1) NDS - it should work, right? At least until the battery dies. So I'll bring many NDSes with me :highfive:

2) Food - If I already stuck there, then I'll at least bring my most favorite food: Sushi!. And A lot of it!

3) Lego - ... I have quite a lot of it... really... I can build a boat!!!


Guess after I'll be tired of playing FFs and ating Sushi, I'll build a big Lego Boat and will get outta there :jon:

1) My soulmate (whomever he may be, I'm clueless as to who that is now though :lew:) ...because I think I'd rather die with someone to grow old with than all alone :damon:
2) Books- To keep occupied and pass some of the time. What else would you be doing really :wacky:
3) Toiletries- like a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, and perfume :inlove:
4) My fluffy duvet- I can't live without my big fluffy comforter to cuddle up with...oh yeah and some flufffy pillows too :jess:
5) Clothes/bikinis- I doubt I'd be skilled enough to make my own island attire a 'la Brooke Shields :lew:

...I'd say my phone/laptop (because I honestly can't live without them) ...but that would be a tad silly because I highly doubt an island out in the middle of nowhere is going to have wifi or internetz :wacky:
 
1) indian Curry or Steak (I want my meals, godamnit)

2) Stereo with turntable (No music will drive me insane. It is needed)

3) My MacBook and sufficient power supply (I do basically everything on here anyway)

4) Condoms (in the event a sexy lady passes. I fucking hate children.)

5) A Fleshlight (incase said sexy lady from above doesn't show)

I hate questions like this. I wont be a cheater and say a boat or a plane, because I don't own those things to take with me. I also wont say computer/internet because I'm pretty sure it's meant to be a deserted island.

1. My dog Miles. I could not live without my little buddy!! We'd be pals on the island together, he'd help me hunt for sparrows (he is too small to catch anything else) for dinner and he'd be a much better friend than a soccer ball with a face.

2. Tooth brush and paste, etc. :hmph: I can't imagine not brushing my teeth for one day. This stuff would be a must though I am sure I would eventually run out :sad3:

3. Knives. Knives would be handy for opening coconuts and tying to long sticks to make spears with :grin: I'd be such a pro hunter.

4. Pencils and Paper. I would draw to keep myself sane, there would be no electricity so this is the only thing I could do for fun, I would become very good at it I am sure :wacky:

5. Good Shoes. I don't want makeshift material shoes like in castaway! Those things looked horrible. I want some good shoes so I don't cut my feet up while climbing rocks and whatever else you do when stuck on an island.

Hmmm that's the best I could come up with... I am sure I could have brought some better stuff than that, but oh well.

1. A boat for when I want to leave
2.fuel for said boat (enough to gets to another island)
3. A nice long book
4. A gun for when I get stranded on another island
5. Bullets for the gun. (because a gun without bullets is pointless. Like a broken knife har har har

Well before I begin, if I knew I would be stranded on an island, I would do all I can to avoid getting onto that island in the first place, rather than frantically run up and do wondering what essentials I will need. Okay, that aside (and no, I'm not going to bring a plane, a pilot or a boat. I'm not Richard bloody Branson):

+ My guy. If I'm going to go down on a deserted, desolate and primitive island with all signs of despair fading before my very eyes as I contemplate the thought of dying on this lonely part of the planet, then he will be there to go down with me. And at the very least, I won't be as lonely and at least I will have another pair of hands. :inlove:

+ Swiss Army Knife - not much to say about this, other than the fact that this is a must and that I like playing with blades when I'm bored.

+ Toothbrush (and toothpaste - yes, I'm cheating, but at least I'm not bringing a bloody plane along), or at the very least, dental floss. As long as I can clean my teeth, the chances of me going totally insane would drop a little. Keeping my teeth constantly clean is one of the hygiene obsessions I have. Oh, and if I do have dental floss instead, it's pretty useful material. You can make all sorts of stuff with it.

+ A good satellite phone. Actually, scrap that. The best satellite phone you can get. Preferably with a good battery. Or if someone out there has made a satellite phone that can recharge with solar cells. Yes, I will want to get out of here, so the least I can do is try and get communication before it's too late. Oh, and depending on the satellite phone I have, I may have some access to the internet so I can yell for help on somewhere like Twitter.

+ Something to desalinate sea water if worse comes to worst and I can't find good clean water. I can survive for a certain amount of time without food, but without water for 2-3 days, it's curtains.
 
You're all making it seem like being stranded on a deserted island is a bad thing. :sad3:

At the moment I'd love to just sit all alone with my Steve in the middle of nowhere!

No bills, no work! No stress! I'd love to give up all technology sometimes! Oh the peace it would bring!

I've changed my choices around a bit:

1. Steve. (my fiancé).
2. Endless supply of condoms. (Because there is no way I am giving birth on an island all on my own. And the kid would be annoying as well when it got old enough and it would ruin my fantasy world.)
3. Toothbrush & Toothpaste. (I can't stand furry teeth!).
4. Endless supply of toilet paper. (No banana leaves for me!)
5. A razor. (I changed my mind. I can't stand hairy legs, underarms and downstairs. :gasp:)
 
1. Books. I need something to do when I'm there, and I obviously need something which does not involve electricity. I don't know which I'd bring, but probably something classical. I'd take my isolation as a sort of study leave, and go mad reading and re-reading whatever it is I happen to take, and I'll write things down by carving on bits of tree bark with the tooth of a tiger that I killed.

2. I'm not a musician... Therefore I could probably use my time to teach myself music, since there will be no electricity for my ipod to work and I'd essentially have to make music for myself. So my second object would be sheet music and 'how to read sheet music' sheets of my favourite songs. I'll then invent my own musical instrument based on what materials I can find (wood, coconuts and monkey hair, most likely) and play it on that. It could be quite interesting to listen to what Ashes to Ashes sounds like on the monknutar. If it sounds terrible it would not matter since by that point I'd already be mad. :woot:

3. I also like movies, and since I'd be unable to watch them... I'd have to star in them myself. Therefore I need a mirror. I can make masks with local materials (wood, coconuts and monkeys again), and I'd have to play all roles on the silver screen and play each movie by memory.

4. A bottle. I want to send a message in a bottle just because it's the kind of thing you'd do when washed up on a strange island.

5. A fez.



That was quite a struggle. The reason I went for those strange things was because I felt like I could create most other things that I would need.

I could use boar or monkey hair to make a toothbrush.

I'll rip my clothes clean off the back of a lion.

I can build a home with wood. I could even build statues.

I'll befriend monkeys and a turtle on the beach.

If there are indigenous peoples, I will make them think that I am a god. I'll be taken to their village and married to the chief's beautiful daughter.


I'm quite looking forward to it.

Well, first it would have to happen, I have no idea why I would want to try and survive on an island even if I had the best items to do so. Why would I try to get on the island? Chances are I would do everything possible to avoid that. Let us say I somehow got stranded on an island randomly.

Five things?

Lets see....

I would obviously bring a toothbrush and toothpaste because I do not want to get anything bad in my teeth area. Question though! Where would I find a sink on a stranded island to brush my teeth? I honestly do not know who would not bring one. Nobody likes icky teeth D= I prefer to keep my teeth crystal clear.

I do hope I get stranded on the island with a sweet and intelligent girl(preferably not screaming her head off thinking we will be there an eternity). One who is absolutely looking forward to surviving with me. When does romance come in when you are stranded on an island though? Chances are when we have our sweet time, a tiger is going to jump out of nowhere and try to eat us :gasp: Which brings me to the point of weapons!

Ill definitely bring a sharp knife. One that is capable of being fatal to anything it comes across. As long as I do not stab myself in the process, it should be useful. A knife in this situation is absolutely vital. You never know what is creeping in that island.

Since I will want to get the hell off the island, I would probably want to bring a phone. There really is not telling if the island has a phone booth, or even connection for that matter. A phone would do wonders. I better have one that is great, because if it runs out of battery, I would have wanted to put something else on my list. Maybe they will invent a super powerful phone in the future :hmmm: Something that releases smoke would be nice as well, in case the phone stops working.

A barrel of fresh water because I will obviously be dehydrated on this island. As long as the water does not get infected or anything like that, I should be fine surviving on this huge supply of water.

Food will be found on the island. Lots of fruits may grow somewhere.
 
Hmm, let's see...

Sunscreen- to avoid sun like illness. I want to at least live til I get back home. There's no way I'm dying on some random island.

Boat- to get off the island. Maybe after a week or two, I'll finally leave. Or if I get attacked by a giant monkey. Whichever happens first.

Eve Torres- she's a WWE Diva. She's totally beautiful. I would love to get to know what her personality is. I doubt she's mean. If she is, I'll just toss her off my boat. Anyway yeah, I think she can help me survive.

Playstation 2- so I can play ffix. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to plug it anywhere. So there, totally useless.

Mom- oh mom, you're so old. Anyway, I would love to see her fight with Eve. Just because me and Eve would be doing our own thing, and we totally neglect her, which leads to them fighting, then I'll escape on the boat, and leave them behind! Yes! My evil plan is brilliant!

Ah, I need sleep :)

2. All of my music or if i could only bring one band it'd be CheVelle albums. (if I have to pick one I'd say This type of thinking)
3. Something to listen to music on (rechargeable by solar!)
4. The Bible (ooh, so predictable and typical, i know :ahmed: ) It just would comfort me.
5. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen.
