How Do You Laugh?

Is your laugh rich? Is it deep? Do you chuckle in short bursts, really fast, one long boisterous haha? How do you do it?

I tend to steal the laughs of people around me. I can't really help it. I mimic people. It's kind of pathetic but since my natural laugh is giggling like a school girl on a sugar high, it's probably a good thing overall.
 
I think it makes me sound retarded if i laugh excessively, because I kind of sound like that porky pig dude caught in an endless circle of his eh-hehehe-he-he chuckle. But like, deeper and less amusing :monster:
 
Er, I'm not sure. I know I can be loud or I can be really quiet (more like a chuckle). Depends on whom I'm with. If it's people I'm not comfortable with and I laugh for some reason, it tends to come out all weird and quiet - almost suppressed. Not that I hold it in. It just tends to come out sounding that way. If it's with my friends and my husband, I literally go, "HAHAHAHA"

Normally mine are just quiet giggles to myself but if someone has me in stitches my laugh isn't really high pitched or low, just sorta in the middle. :wacky:
I laugh quite often though so I've worked on it. =]
 
I think I also mimic people a bit. Like dependin on who you live with I'll end up laughing a bit like them! :S But when I found something really funny it goes high pitched, and funnier than that. Silent mirth. ^_^
 
Apparently I have a ridiculous laugh, it can be anything from giggles, to high pitched cant catch my breath kind of laugh, there's also a really loud one I do it's generally when something unexpected happens and I find something hilarious - like someone falling over
 
How do I laugh really depends on what the material is. If I'm around my buds at home, well it tends to be like.. a long drawn out laugh.

If I'm a work and someone come by my cube with a funny remark I kind of make a higher pitched chuckle.

It's more of the facial movements than anything else, I smile more than laugh. So to get a laugh out of me, takes something of good quality. For instance the office, you catch me watching that, I laugh till tears.
 
If it's something just generally amusing, I just do this silent kind of chuckle thing, but if it's something like, hilarious, I do that gasping, squealing thing where I can't breathe. And, I think the sound is funny, so it goes on and on until I finally have to force myself to stop.
 
depends how funny something is, if its mildly funny its more like a forced "hahaha" kind of laugh or a little chuckle or even a "heh"...

if its really funny though I laugh to the point where my laughing goes silent and I cant breathe :P
 
Most of the time I chuckle, It's not really high pitched since my voice is kinda deep. I'm not very good at hiding my laughter, if I try to hide it, I end up holding my breath. When I find something really funny I do my regular chuckling thing but then I also throw in these really loud "HA HA HA" noises over the top of my chuckle, I end up sounding like some sort of bird.
 
Me? I rarely even laugh...but I guess my laugh isn't overly loud, it isn't anything out of the ordinary either, just in the same pitch as whenever I'd speak, I don't laugh in a deep or high tone, just average. :P

I'm not good at describing things, so, sorry if it isn't very descriptive. >.>

Thanks fer that, it told me how I actually laugh when something amuses me. xDDD

I have a mix between a giggle and a chuckle I think is the best way to describe it. Though when something is really funny and I'm not expecting it, I splutter... typically because it's when I'm drinking something -stares at Andrew;-

Though if I'm shy, I'll laugh silently or just smile. My laughter shows more in my eyes anyway I think. :gasp:

hmm, i laugh like really loudly and endlessly o.o Sometimes, i freak myself out because it's like "whoa where'd that come from?" I laugh so hard sometimes my face turns red and usually that's like on a daily basis xD. My laugh's high pitched and sharp. Its sorta hard to explain it you have to hear it first XD.
Sometimes, people say i snort when i laugh-__- which isn't true! (i hope not xD)
i guess you could say my laugh stands out
 
My laugh tends to vary between high-pitched giggles (drunk), a deeper chuckle (gently amused), a loud outburst (most common) and small exhales (when something's not too funny but you want to laugh anyway). I'll need to get it recorded, it's hilarious.
 
Well I barely laugh I more like smile. =\ However when I laugh I just go out like "HAHAHAHAHA" but I try not to >.> people start looking it becomes embarrassing >.<
I most likely smile in front of someone I like. <.< >.>
 
Thats hard to explaina actually but I can tell you this, when I laugh I laugh for along time non stop, lol i had alot of good times senior year in last period never forget the looks on the faces of all them (except one she laughs just as much as me) one of the usual jokers would say something really funny and make everybody laugh but when everyone stops im still going and they all look at me trying to figure out why im going,confused,the one that said the joke always just smiled staring at me laughing kind of, and the teacher staring,and usualy someone would say "its not that funny" or "its not that deep" that one guy always said "STOP LAUGHING AND SHUT UP" xD I love my laugh.

I hate my laugh a lot because I hate my smile lmfao, so if I can control it I'll do a small teehee laugh at things I find funny and will probably cover my mouth :sad3:

When I am laughing so hard I can't control it (which happened in the car the other morning) I laugh like a crazy witch. Cackling and gasping for air like a maniac. Mouth wide open looking all attractive and shit. :grin:
 
I do not really laugh, I find plenty of things very funny I just say "that's funny" instead. I have a fake laugh I use in public and for friends, so they don't mistakenly believe I think they are unfunny

When I do laugh naturally it sounds like I am saying hmph repeatedly
 
It's kinda fast. I know for sure that I snort while laughing. If it's something really funny I might laugh for a good 7 minutes before I stop. Also when I stop laughing I sound like I'm choking! Hahahahahaha.
