Jim argued his case with the Admins. The suspension stood. You harassed the hell out of Ami via PM arguing his case. The suspension stood. Sashman (iirc) took it to LG, who said to take it to the Admins. The suspension stood. The Free Jim Society has bitched and moaned for 4 months. The suspension has stood. Does every member of staff agree with the infraction? Not necessarily. I was in WoW went in went down (iirc again), but had been in the SB 20 minutes prior, and it really and truly bothers me that I wasn't there when things went down, because this whole situation would have been handled differently, in my opinion.

However. You and I both know that part of the reason Jim (and you, for that matter) was being an ass in the SB that night was because it was Ami. If it had been any other staffer, he likely would have been less abrasive with the whole thing. So while I don't necessarily agree with how it was handled, I'm not going to tell Ami where her personal line should be, because Jim gives her a ration of shit every chance he gets. So of course there's going to be a shorter fuse with him. That's human nature. I'm probably just as guilty of it with certain members. And you're an intelligent fella, so I'm sure you know that the more you bugged her about it, the more she would dig in her heels against him. Again, that's also human nature.

But for Christ's sake, let's not make him out to be some martyr. If it wasn't then, it would have happened eventually. And the only reason it's an issue is because of the length of the suspension. If the infraction didn't result in a suspension, or was only a week, this whole debacle never comes to pass. And you know how you get to as many points as he has? By getting infracted multiple times. And it's been by several different staffers. And he's even had at least one reversed.

So call me out if you like, call me a hypocrite, whatever you like. I'll call you out as well for acting like a 5-year-old who had his cookie taken away. I'm only human. When I get poked with a stick, I eventually poke back.

I do think the ban was shit but its just fff, thats it. Thats how i see it and i know thats how jimmer sees it.

It should just be seen to that a similar thing never happens again.

You mention "poking back" and stuff but the reason I did this was because I added her to a conversation with myself and Jim on MSN, said "Hi Ami" at which point she called us names, blocked us and even removed me from Facebook. And I'm childish?

He acts like an arse to everyone. Yes, I dislike Ami, but if it was you doing the trivia I'd have done the same thing - because it was joking, taking the piss etc.

I said publicly, at the time, that I acknowledged that. It's the point that he was banned over something so trivial and ridiculous. If he was banned for something a bit more worthy, there'd probably still be an "unban Jim" 'society' but we wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Here, we do.

Though I know the reason we are all here in the first place. The spam is a place like Break.com or youtube.com, that when you're bored you go for LAWL points.

Ohri, I was kidding actually, just trying to make you see the irony in your words. Though I do not like you dissing sarcasm, since it is part of me... and without it I would be a drone. Prior to being anything on staff, I was just like anyone - and I don't like the idea of me arguing with anyone being the end all be all because of the color I wear. I love folks countering my arguments, it's why the community runs so smooth at times. Even staff know that part of me that loves to argue a point into the ground. (Both sides of story).

In the prior years we would have the killed thread by now. Though actually despite what ya'll believe as us using it as some sort of bait system to get you banned/infracted, we left it open, because closing threads over and over again about JIMBO, gets annoying.

Though now it may be closed to the casual insults. So just be careful.
 
Kerrigan made this spamthread cuz its spam..I presume to let of steam...but Triple T made fun of Jim's weight and that was uncalled for..a staffmember should never do that no matter how subtle he thinks he brings it!

Im overweight myself and wht triple t said was uncalled for..he is a mod who has responsibilities and he should act that way instead giving out subtle sarcastic witty fail comments!
 
p.s. Ohri, heads up, I'm not calling for Jesse to get punished for saying Jim is fat. I'm calling for Jim to be unbanned because he did the same thing - had fun, made a joke but got kicked out for it.

And I would have told you (and him) that's it's aggravating as hell, and you don't have to be in the SB if you don't like it. And then I probably would have silenced you, if not SB banned you, tbh.

I don't know, "hairy axe wound" doesn't really strike me as a joke. If Jim's not over the line, he's toeing it. Every single time he's in the SB pretty much. He's almost literally the boy who cried wolf. This time he got eaten. It's hard to have a lot of sympathy for him.
