FFF Graphics School

Well, it could be as simple as telling the other what the tool does. If they are equivalent it should be the same, and if they are not the same then its not the right one. I'm pretty sure GIMP is photoshop made different with other names and organization. This would also help a student understand their own software a great amount. I for one still have much to learn about GIMP.

Okay, I got confused. XD ,Squee has GIMP XD

And you're right Squee. ^^ It'll really help you guys to learn what all the tools do, and how you can utilize them to the best effects. =]

I have photoshop too Kei so all is well.

Um how does this work pm's or SB chat or in here or what?

SB Pms, Forum PMs or MSN. I don't recommend discussing things in public because everyone else can then learn from your tutor too. =3

Ill get back to any message on sunday, students. :awesome:

My email is in the thingy next to this text (-points left-) or enter profile, .Lightning and Oliver.

I'd strongly suggest using MSN with me... since I just lurk the forums and BARELY refresh. XD

Well While I do have msn, It hates me greatly and I can never sign in...some crap about no connection...while I'm online...-.- so the best way to contact me is via pm here.

I don't use MSN that often anymore, I use the PM system a lot more, so for me the PMing is probably the best way to go

do tutors give students a tutorial they make or do we need to create our own things and tutors will tell us what to do to make it better or how does this work?

MSN, likely, will be the best way to contact me.

Ryan, I'll give you a more precise schedule of when I'll be on, if it helps.

Quarashi, tutors will be the ones giving the students a challenge based on what they've taught them and see if the students can somehow incorporate the techniques they've learned in an effective manner.

I can add your MSN Kei, I normally have mine open so I guess that would be... useful...

I just finished Session 1 with Joyful Blue. I think that turned out rather well and he's off to try and implement some of the tricks I showed him. =] It's cool knowing that I'm helping someone out a bit when it comes to these things. Always a pleasure to explain things in full detail. I might just copy/paste some of the things I showed him to Ariana so I don't have to repeat myself and then see if I can add anything more. :hmmm:

Quarashi, Tutors give their students the task based upon anything they have covered with them. It's up to the tutor how they give this task. They can just give you an outline such as depth, lighting and text, if that made sense, or they can give you a theme or they can even just give you an image to make something from following their guidelines.

>.< I'm not making much sense to myself here, sorry. XD

They'll come to you, Ryan. However, you are free to go to them if you wish, ask to see some of their work and then give advice on how to improve certain areas if you wish. It's up to you, but typically, they'll show you their work or they'll ask questions and that sort of thing.

Oh, THAT'S what we're supposed to do? :wacky: Okay, then. I was wondering how this was gonna work, and I'm glad Ryan was the same way. xD

Well, expect to hear from me...sometime soon, Ryan. xD

I'm pretty sure it states in the first post that Students go to their tutors with any questions etc they may have. o_O
