"The rooibos will be perfect, thank you. As for my magic going rogue...Normally I wouldn't tell people but you're helping me so I suppose you should know. The reason I'm here is because I killed my father, or at least I think I did, and destroyed the house in the process."

He paused for a moment to let it sink in. "He came home late one night to find me with this," he continued, pulling out the longsword from the sheath on his back and laying it in his lap. "He began yelling about putting an end to that part of his life. I assume he meant mother and me. Then he tried to kill me. All I can remember thinking is that I didn't want to die.

"Then it hit him. A column of magma incinerated him and blew a hole through the roof and splattered inside the house. At the same time spears of lightning struck the house on the outside on a clear day. The house began burning from the outside. It was only by the grace of a neighbor that I survived. That was when I discovered I had magic. And now, thinking back, I believe mother knew I did too."

He took a sip of the tea before continuing. "That is far from my normal magic, or at least from what I think in my normal magic. I tested it out myself in the months between the incident and my coming here. My magic doesn't work like that. Though I honestly can't tell. I have very little control being without any actual instruction and lack refinement. So far most of the knowledge I've gotten has come from this book and I only got it from the library yesterday.

"But based on the text what happened is what they call 'wild' magic. I'm afraid my magic will keep flaring up like that unless I learn to control it..."

"we can start right now but I don’t know how long it will take, there are however two ways of doing this that I know off, one is the slow and controlled way which can take anything from monthes to years, again that’s for humans, and the other way, a ‘quick and dirty’ approach if you will. The later provides the same results a lot quicker but it is less elegant, and more slightly more dangerous…"

She was troubled with these 'two ways', one could take a very long time, but the other was dangerous...then Nova continued to say Excuse me where are my manners, this isn’t something to be discussed with a dry throat… Tea? Coffee? I have a bowl if it helps? Water perhaps?” She was thirsty, since depending on circumstances for the moment, it isn't always convenient to have a drink, to have one in some at all civilized, human-like manner she requires a straw to drink from, preferring just nice, cold water over anything.

"I know this is a bit of an odd request, so you might not be able to grant it, but do you have a straw I could use to drink with? If so I'd like just some cold water, if it is convenient, thanks." she replied, giving what may be best described as half a smile, but knowing of the two aforementioned ways for learning that were mentioned, the quick effective way would probably be the best, but when she thought about how 'dangerous' it could potentially be, she couldn't force herself to grin from cheek to cheek at this time, she was rather concerned.

"And, years...?" she said, doubtfully, "Anything could happen in that time...I can't become obligated to that, it is too long, and may ultimately end up leaving me in a more dangerous situation along the way anyway...just how dangerous is the much quicker way, Nova? Just because I despise fighting doesn't mean I haven't had to deal with it. I've found myself getting out of trouble before, that's why I think I could do this, but, it isn't life threatening, is it?" she turned her head away to her left side, and closing her eyes as she finished speaking.

Without shifting from this position or opening her eyes, she continued on to say "I hate to think of the grief it would cause Crimson Wolf if I were to die doing this, I am the only family he has left..." Sophia's voice started to begin to sound a little sad, but she was trying hard to stay strong, she felt she would have to do this, but she feared terribly of how her brother would suffer if she didn't survive from it.
 
Athena woke up and heard the announcement while getting dressed. Still, she did not hurry, but got dressed and ate breakfast downstairs at her normal pace. Haste preceded mistakes, and those could be fatal in the missions. She, being in Black Sect, was more than accostomed to the conduct expected in missions, and already knew that civilians weren't to be harmed. She would have to be careful to keep them safe. Not that she distrusted the others, but as a member of the Disciplinary Council, she was expected to keep order.

Even though another was escorting and leading the mission, Athena had the feeling that any wrongdoings or shortcomings in the mission would be directed back to the
Disciplinary Commitee, and therefore her.

Catchingup with the others after a filling but nutritious breakfast, she nodded that she was ready to leave

Alan was slightly flustered as he joined the others, his hair and clothes a mess and his eyes manic from the sudden wake up call.

Arukab waited as a third student walked into the room. He replied to what Ray had sead, and spoke "Please, just call me Arukab, no 'Mr.' at all."

Sorry for my tardiness, sir. I am Delijah Fei. She said. Arukab shot her a look of acceptance and leisure. He responded to her in a gentle voice, "No problem, it's the first day." Arukab observed as the newest student to enter lay her arms down. "Well now, shall we begin the lesson?"

Arukab stood up and began to speak aloud, as clear as he could. "Today I will simply try and see how you all fight, No two people fight the same, so I cannot teach two people the same way. In order for me to really feel how you fight, I have to do just that. I am asking one of you to volunteer and strike me with your best hits you can think up." As Arukab spoke the last line, he coated himself with a good solid amount of silver. the silver shined and reflected the lights.

There was of course plenty of area for a quick battle, but nothing too intense. "Who would like to go first?"

Ray was sitting by the time another student entered the room. This one was a female. Ray actually thought she looked rather good. Nice and slim, gray long hair, round face, big eyes, and a great clothing style at that. Ray liked what he saw, but he hid it rather well. He usually wasn't one to try and flirt or anything, but boys will be boys. He took a not of her name. Maybe he would approach her later on, but it was unlikely. Ray decided to put his attention to the teacher at this point.

When the teacher spoke, Ray was looking directly ahead at him, listening carefully for the first lesson. Kisharu was sitting on the floor directly to Ray's right side. Once he heard he was supposed to fight the teacher, he tensed up a bit. Fight a teacher? This didn't seem right, so he would just wait for someone else to volunteer first.
 
Ravona made notes while Miss Carmine talked, though there was hardly need to do so. The class was pretty short and it seemed like most of the learning process would be achieved through the homework Miss Carmine had given.
The first thing Ravona did after leaving the class room was heading to the library, while the textbook she had been given contained quite a bit relevant information it wasn’t enough for her goals. Also using only the textbook would mean Ravona’s paper would be almost identical to that of all the others in class.

Ravona was in luck, she was the first to arrive in the library, allowing her free choice in the research materials. Ravona checked out 5 books and headed back to her dorm. Luckily she had managed to figure out how the personal console they had in their rooms worked as they made writing the paper a lot easier. Still within an hour Ravona’s desk was covered in lose pieces of paper with notes on them.
It didn’t take Ravona to long to see the differences in her magic and that of Nova Carmine. Of course this was not surprising since Ravona’s kind was pretty rare, only a few hundred across the entire universe. Ravona certainly had the better magic in her opinion. Nova’s ‘magic’ was slightly limited by the backlash it caused and seeing the description on its workings in the books Ravona already started pondering if these backlashes could be enforced without the subject having casted anything.
Well better get to work Ravona thought to herself. Ravona took her time with writing her paper on magic before printing and binding it. Afterwards she headed back to the main building in search for Miss Nova Carmine and hand in her paper.
 
Stella enterd the class with most of the new students. She liked the many new faces and sat at a desk next o the boy with the wolf. She loved animals and found it hard to concentrate with such an adorable animal sitting by it's master. "What's this guys name?" Stella asked out of curiousity while she gripped her rod carefully just in case the creature would attack.

"Today I will simply try and see how you all fight, No two people fight the same, so I cannot teach two people the same way. In order for me to really feel how you fight, I have to do just that. I am asking one of you to volunteer and strike me with your best hits you can think up."

Stella had gotten excited at this as she knew this was a great way to start of the year. Exercise was key to success in combat. She took another glance at the wolf and then back at the teacher contemplating whether she should offer to fight. If she were to fight she would probably do massive school damage using the natural elments of the school. She kept quiet when suddeny she got a text from her sister Pharra. It read: Where is the shop supplies? I'm supposed to be running it today right? Stella glanced up to make sure the teacher was not watching before she responded with a: The supplies are on the way! It's one of today's missions.

After sending her message and tucking the cell away safely Stella then gazed at the other students in the classroom. "Oh hey Delijah!" Stella silently waved as she had recognised the student from the previous year.

She was always such a cutesy girl on the inside, Stella had no clue why she would wan't such a hard core student council position.

"Who would like to go first?"

Stella had finally paid attention to see that the man had coated himself in silver. If she wasn't going first she would definetly love to go second and see what this teacher is all about...

“Well that sounds like what happened to me, and it also sounds like there is a connection to your emotions. Luckily this is much like what I had at the time I first ‘awakened’… Which means we might be able to apply the lessons I found useful to control the surges, obviously our primary objective is to get you to STOP having those extreme emotions that trigger these incidents. For myself I found relief in keeping busy and some tai chi and yoga. They are clichés, I know, but they will buy us the time to stop you from ripping this school to shreds. If that doesn’t prove sufficient to control the emotions I can provide you with a mild sedative which SHOULD take the edge off…
After that you need to practice this magic, start small. For instance you said your first manifestation was a manifestation of forces magic? I would advise you to start small and try to –for instance- light a candle or something. This isn’t entirely safe because you need to practice with forces you can’t quite control however this is the only way I know off to get that control. Do you have a roommate or something who you could ask to keep an eye on you during practice and if necessary restrain you?” Nova asked as she took a sip of her steaming coffee…

“It’s not very dangerous, I mean nothing is totally safe but this is something I feel pretty comfortable doing to you… Well let’s get started shall we, no sense in delaying, close your eyes please? This might pinch a little.” Nova said as she walked up and sedated Sophia from a hypodermic needle filled with a quick acting sedative.
When Sophia woke up she was in what looked like a OR or maybe an autopsy room, floating over a cold steel table with a 2” lip around the edge and a drainage system for some reason, bright lights flicked on the second she woke up beaming bright light into her eyes, as well as restraints tightening her to the table preventing her from moving… From the fact that there were some trays with scalpels and other such implements hanging in mid air it was rather obvious that where ever she was, there was no gravity…
“Aaah, I see you are awake, welcome to room 101, In this room we will activate your avatar or kill you in the attempt.” An unknown yet vaguely ominous male voice said with a particularly clipped speech pattern, ominous not from booming or an echo or anyone of the other clishes an amateur might have used but instead from the fact that he spoke totally matter of factly like he was discussing the weather or a that he needed to get a haircut. “Know this, Miss carmine is not your friend she is an icebox, a cooler, a button man, a hitman, or whatever you wish to call it. Bottom line is she kills people for money. She gave you to us and took her bounty, which is all you were to her, a paycheck.”
He said as he walked over to the side of the table, still obscured by the bright light being shown into Sophia’s eyes showing nothing more than a male human shape wearing a tailored suit and leather gloves. “This next injection contains a potent cocktail of drugs, it will remove the last vestiges of the sedative from your bloodstream to make you fully alert, this will make it easier to achieve the required focus to activate your powers, also inside is adrenaline for the same purpose, and a few other odds and ends to help with the process… This will hurt…” He said as he injected a big syringe into Sophia’s arm “In a few minutes I will leave this room and the test will activate, all you need to do to survive is turn of the machine by pushing that red button over there, please do so; the paperwork I would need to fill out if you were to die would interfere with my social agenda …” he said pointing to a big red button in the middle of the light, which seemed less intense now somehow, still prevented her from seeing more of the room than that she was on a table with someone in a tailored suit.

Delijah

Sir, i will volunteer.

The most important thing in learning is to know where your mistakes are. If no-one would go, then she would be the first. Snatching Yatagarasu from the table, but leaving Kamaitachi, Delijah was planning to perform a basic straight thrust. If her basic had issues, then that would effect her entire fighting style. Standing face to face with Mr Arukab, she spotted Stella's silent wave and returned the greeting with a slight nod before positioning herself into a stance, body low, hands spread on the spear. Mr Arukab was a teacher, hence she deduced his combat abilities to be rather high. Therefore, Delijah decided to go as far as she can with her ability.

I will be in your care sir.

Silently exhaling, at its end, her pupils dilated and the blue flame erupted at her left eye. Unlike against Orion, this time, it was rather large, its tip flaring past her ear. With a single dash step, she closed the gap and trasnferred and converted all the energy from the step through her legs, added with the twist of all body movements, the enhanced strength from her Brute Strength ability and the single one handed thrusting straight into his chest. Delijah's move was to stap through the opponent in battle. At the range she was at, either the spear pierced, or it would snap. Luckily, Yatagarasu was far superior than other spears. It would bend, almost possibly reach 180 degrees, The added effect is should the opponent waver in his concentration, the spring effect of the spear straightening would throw them far back.

Right now, as she expected, the spear bent in a huge arch. Delijah held strong, trying to keep her concentration so that her flame would maintain. The spear shaft quivered as it fought against the bend that was forced onto it. Would she fail?

Ugh... It doesnt...look good.

 
"The yoga wouldnt be too much a change for me; I already stretch in the mornings. It would be nice to focus that. As for practice there is someone I can practice with," he said, thinking back to his roommate, Alan. "There are a few things you should know though. I was accepted by the academy because of this incident, not by my parents which meant that one of the administrators came to me. He examined my skills and magic. He told me that I have the potential for only destrucive magics and then asked to see my sword. After that he told me that I would be placed in the academy under the class spellblade."

Taron took another sip, the sweet taste clashing with the bitter memories. "After that he told me I was accepted. I didnt see him again. In the interlude between the incident and coming here I did try to practice it, to see what it was. It would seem that was rather dangerous to do so but its done.

"As I practiced, I merely tried to manifest my magic," he continued. "At first I wasn't certain whether the lightning was part of it of some sort of abnormal weather pattern. It wasn't until I tried it that I found it was part of my magic. Spurred on by this I tried with other natural forces : fire, water, whatever I could think of. Nothing. I'm thinking that magma and lightning are the only innate magics I posess. I still don't know what I can do with them."

"But I know one thing. I'm still a force of destruction despite whatever control I have. If it's linked to my emotions as you believe then no matter what control I have over my magic I am still at the mercy of my emotions."
 
Ha! Raistlin is in his group. Gotta suck after yesterday charade. In any case, anything happens, hide behind Eliane here. Use her as a meat shield.

"Oh, you're not gonna hide behind me again, are ya?" Eliane said sarcastically, she needed to get a good laugh, make her feel better considering her leadership role in this mission.

With Athena's timely arrival, it is confirmed that everyone is ready to go off.

"Alright, here's the mission. Monsters have overrun the beach of Eureka Town, and they want us to thin their numbers. However, our top priority is to ensure that all civillians are safely out of danger."

Eliane paused, to make sure she did not leave out any details. "Agatha, since you're rank is at 0, one of us will have to stay with you. I know you can handle yourself, but the rules must be upheld, therefore, stick by me, okay?" As soon as this was done, they can then be ready to be on their way.

Blade wandered into the Great Hall and saw the other team all formed up. On the other side was Raistlin and a new student, companions for this little mission. Blade wandered over, his spear across the back of his neck, to meet them. "Well, least we got a few people, though Orion still needs to show up. Glad that your here with us, Raistlin." Blade nodded politely to his leader before turning to the blue sect student. "You seem new, who are you?"

-Switching to Orion-

Right when Blade commented that Orion still needed to show up, he appeared through the doors, brushing off a bit of dust. "Stupid stairs... Whoever came up with the retarded idea of putting the Student Council room ALL the way up there?" He muttered. Mutterings along this line continued as he came to his group of Raistlin, Blade, and a third student who Orion didn't know. "Well, we're missing one, but I think we'll be alright" Orion said as he came up.

"Ok then, since most of you have done this sort of thing before, feel free to ignore me. Our mission is to escort a wagon of goods from a village across the water there" Orion pointed with his thumb in the general direction of where they came from "to the dock at the shore and then from there to here, making sure no trouble happens along the way. These goods are vital, since they will be used to stock our store."

"This is an easy mission, however, we still gotta watch ourselves. Even the easiest mission in the world can go wrong really fast, really bad if we get careless." Orion looked at the blue sect student. "Since your not used to this, I'll stick with you. If trouble happens, hide behind me or Blade, since we aren't total magic users like Raistlin there." Orion chuckled grimly. "Alright then, we'll come up with a more detailed plan when we get there. Any questions before we head out?" Orion asked calmly, immediately putting the burden of sheperding the new person on himself.

OOC: short on Blade, but this part is mainly for Orion.
 
Greg woke up in a hurry and got dressed. Mission day. Greg stormed out the dorm and forgot where he had to go for the missions. He was late and worried. He had no idea where to go. He ran towards the door of the Hall. This was it. He ran towards the mission one group.
"Sorry i'm late. My name is Greg Dong. Blue Sect Student, Reporting for duty"

“Thirty seconds after I leave this room, the gravity in this room will start increasing this will cause the slab over your table to drop down, as you will note the button is recessed into the slab and will not be pushed until after it has already crushed you.” He flipped a switch on a pad he got out of a pocket, changing the lighting to illuminate the whole . “Push the button and your bounds will be loosened, the slab immobilized and retracted into the ceiling and gravity restored to earth standard.” He said before walking to the door. Just before the door slit shut behind him the mysterious man spoke over his shoulder: “You are in space, thousands of miles from your brother crimson, your class mates, and even Miss carmine should she wish to save you, no one will come to save you, feel free to scream.”

“Well that should do the trick…” Nova mused as she watched the whole thing from the next room wondering if she would need to be required to sedate Sophia before she could explain the whole thing to her… As she recalled she had been so happy it wasn’t real she cried like a 12 year old girl on the shoulder of Mr Johnson. She hoped the wolf would react the same , would make the clean up a lot easier...

OOC: Hope finishing the post helps a bit with the emotional stress i seem to have caused...

Oracio was walking by in the hallways, as he currently did not have a class. As the magician teacher, he was usually teaching the higher up students, mostly consisting of Juniors and Seniors with the occasional Sophomore if they were good on magic. He was walking by and he did in fact sense the power of magic being used, a rather peculiar spell. He hardly knew the feeling, but he did know something wasn't quite right about it. He walked by a teacher that was new this year, and right then he knew he would have to look into this.

Opening his book to page 237, he found a spell that he knew he could do. He read it over, as it was not often he used the spell, and then he did as it told him. He focused on the mark on his forehead and he brought as much spiritual energy to him as possible. This opened a spell called "The Mages Eye" that allowed him to literally see all spells he wanted to see. With that he was able to see a spell that could seriously hurt a student. But what really irritated him was the fact that the student was undoubtedly a freshman. Why in the world would a First year be going through training like this!? Especially on the first day!


Closing his book, he gathered energy in has hand while also going into a run and spoke at the same time, "What are you thinking? This student is a freshman!" He did not care for a response at all, he was headed for the door. Before he opened the door, he had a full ball of energy in one hand and he had released it the very second the door opened. The energy he gathered removed the magic from the room, reverting it back to normal and causing everything to fall back into it's natural order. He walked up to the student and released all the constraints on her. He was surprised to what he saw, seen as it was a wolf like person, but it was nothing baffling to him, hardly new.


"Sorry about all this" He said after releasing the student. "Come with me, I'll make sure you are ok." He began to walk out of the room, hoping the student would follow. "I am Mr. Krego, I teach magic arts. What exactly was all this about?" He had chosen to walk by the teacher again and speak yet again. He stopped to look at her face. "You must be Nova? Know your place, we cannot do this to students, especially Freshman and on the first day of all days." He then went back to moving on. He was taking the student to his classroom.

Arukab watched as the student had volunteered. It was good to see someone didn't fear going first. Arukab respected this. All he did was stand still in a stiff position. When he was struck, he didn't feel a thing due to the thick silver coating his body. He saw the pollarm bend as Delijah struck him, and this was a unique trait he had not seen before. He was surprised by this. "Stop" He said to the student. Delijah pulled back, letting the weapon flex back to stiffer shape. "I don't want any of the basics, strike me like you want to hurt me. I won't be hurt, trust me. If you do hurt me, you belong in a more advanced class." Arukab waited to see her real way of fighting.

After Sophia asked if it would be very dangerous, and then continuing to state how she couldn't bare the grief it would cause her brother if she were to die from it, Nova had replied, with more than mere words...

What is she-!' her thoughts finished as Nova injected into her a quick acting sedative. But why? She had not gotten out of hand in any way...

Next moment, she awoke to a near blinding bright light in her face, she felt a bit groggy, and was very confused about where she was, growing concerned that something isn't right...then a sinister male's voice could be heard telling her she is in 'room 101', and that they will activate her avatar, or kill her in the attempt.

She didn't even understand what this Avatar thing the voice spoke of was or meant, she had never heard of it, and upon mention of her being killed she was freaked out by it, but felt weak, and movement of any part of her was almost completely restrained, then the voice continued to tell her that Miss Carmine is not her friend, that she is cold-hearted, kills people for money, and to her, Sophia was just a paycheck, nothing more.

She could hear clearly enough everything that was being said, and though not fully alert, she still felt strong emotion, tears began to appear in her bright blue eyes, still restricted vision from the intense light right in front of her, and of any actual movement, still next to none.

Eventually, a human's figure started to become apparent, wearing a tailored suit, and leather gloves. He got out a syringe, and explained that it would make her more alert, and help her activate her powers, and that it would hurt...all she felt was fear, fear of how Crimson Wolf would be deeply hurt if she were to die there, in that room, she also had now felt betrayed, betrayed by Nova Carmine...

The syringe was injected into her arm, instantly causing her to feel a sharp pain from the injection, and while she at the same time felt a lot more alert after it, she still could not make the least bit of a movement, to her she is just suffering with full awareness now, not the littlest bit safer for it, she had an awkward feeling of fear and anger, she now wants answers from this Nova person, should she live through this to get back to the school, where her brother is.

The man said that he will be leaving the room, and that a test will activate, and that all she needs to do is press the red button to turn off the machine, she could barely see it for the light, which was beginning to irritate her. But she couldn't move at all, it appears to be impossible...

He continued on to say to her that thirty seconds after he leaves the room, the gravity in the room will start increasing, and that that will over her table to drop down, and that the button is recessed in-to the slab and won't be pushed until after it has already crushed you. Upon hearing this a wave of terror rushed through her, she tried to get loose enough to press the button, but to no avail...

Finally the ominous man flipped a switch to cause the light to illuminate the whole room, not just glaring in her face, and told her that pushing the button would loosen her bounds, immobilize the slab and cause it to retract into the ceiling, and the gravity restored to Earth standard.

As he walked towards the door, when he was on his way through the doorway, just before it slid shut, he looked back over his shoulder, and said “You are in space, thousands of miles from your brother Crimson, your class mates, and even Miss Carmine should she wish to save you, no one will come to save you, feel free to scream.”

The door now shut behind him, no one else was in the room, nor a caring soul near, or so it seemed that way. She already knew to try free an arm to hit the button would be wasting time as she had tried to move before, and she didn't know any magic to be possibly able to cause it to get pressed in.

In truth she's absolutely scared for her life, that it may be gone in seconds, and she couldn't do anything about it, she doesn't know for any 'Avatar'...rather than struggling, she tried to concentrate and just prayed in her head that she be delivered from death this day, that she could live...if only so her brother may not have to suffer deep, emotional pain at the loss of her life.

Very shortly after the man had left the slab started lowering as he said it would, and it didn't have a long ways to come, she just had her eyes closed tight, tears trickling from them as she did. In just enough time for it to be before it was too late, she heard some noises, opened her eyes to try see what was going on, she saw a man dressed in unusual clothing, including a cape, he freed her from her constraints, then heard the man's voice speak, one friendlier than the one she had heard not even ten minutes earlier.

"Sorry about all this" the man said to her, "Come with me, I'll make sure you are ok." He started to walk out of the room, she followed right behind him, though she was still quite overwhelmed by everything.

"I am Mr. Krego, I teach magic arts. What exactly was all this about?" he introduced himself as Krego, and asked just what exactly happened. Before she got around to starting to answer his question, they had gone by the teacher Nova, at this time, when Sophia saw her, she was burning up inside, she had a lot she wanted to say to her, but she was still just in shock of everything that just happened, words just didn't come to her, she kept her head low, looking at the floor, she couldn't bare even look at her right now, but Krego looked right at her face, and said "You must be Nova? Know your place, we cannot do this to students, especially Freshman and on the first day of all days."

After he said this, the two of them moved onwards, leading right to what would seem to be his classroom. Th-thank you, Krego... If you were any later, I would have been dead right now..." Sophia said, still having much of that fright in her, her voice had a slight stutter to it, and a couple of pauses in speech at first, but then she introduced herself after she had straightened herself out as best as she could, knowing she would be having to try, as difficult as it was, describe everything that happened, the whole situation.

"Sorry, just difficult speaking after the emotional experience I just went through, but I think I am okay now. My name is Sophia, and obviously I am very pleased to meet you, you're an answer to prayer!" She exclaimed, mustering up the will to give a cheery smile she so often has about her. "Time to answer that question you asked earlier..." she continued on to explain everything that had happened between her and Nova just before she was where she was when he found her, and of course what happened while she was in there.

"I guess this still leaves a question out there though, why did I just have to learn some Magic... As I mentioned in what happened in that room, I do have a brother, his name in full is Crimson Wolf, he is my reason for getting into Magic, or at least trying to... He is an excellent fighter, though I am opposed to any violence and believe there is always another way around it, if one is to fight, well, he does so for the right reasons, so I don't encourage him to stop what he does, and he can protect me.

But that's where this comes in, he says to me he isn't always going to be by my side to protect me, so I should have some means to defend myself, even if I don't actually fight any attackers, just something to protect me, and should I be wounded, perhaps a means to heal myself from it, that is the main reason either of us are here, I have come in hopes to learn White Magic. I have no desire to inflict harm on anyone or any thing, but it led to all that back there...I don't even know what an Avatar is...and all along, I was really just some paycheck to her..."
she sighed out of frustration after finishing her explanation.

And the student was FULLY INFORMED about the gist of my method before going in and allowing me to proceed, I have a recording of the proceedings if you feel you cannot just take my word for it.” Nova said as she dabbed the blood away from her nose bleed, and nursed a pretty killer headache. “As for it being the first day, this is true but if my student makes the informed decision to do what she chose on the first day of the new school year I would applaud her for taking a very proactive approach in her studies and doing what is required to keep up with my classes, as opposed to say spending half a year trying to keep up from a theoretical side and THEN coming to me for help when she cannot keep up on the more practical side of the course.”

“Ooh and Sophia? You were never in any real danger; I would have stopped the simulation plenty long before you found any physical harm beyond pants wetting. Remember that YOU wanted this, I told you the risks -as far as I could anyways- and you made an informed decision. Nothing comes for free, especially not power sufficient to do the things I can do… Ooh and one more thing, about half of what you heard in there is true, I’ll let you figure out which half…”

"Yes, thank you," Taron answered. "I can easily go to the library and pick up a text on yoga today. The downside though is that both of my roommates are off on their mandatory missions today, which leaves me without a intervention should I need one. I hate to ask since as an instructor you must have a busy schedule, but if you have time today would you mind working with me at it in the same capacity?"

Nova's words only made her more angry, this is the one time she couldn't just forgive and forget, and she knows she was not fully informed, she was insulted. Anger overcame her shock, and she responded to her, "I know, you aren't my friend, you are a heartless killer, and all I ever was to you was money, a paycheck...you couldn't care less if I was dead right now, maybe your headache would have started to subside, you think!?" she said, furious, she would rather Nova never said anything back in the first place.

"And I was not fully informed, I was falsely informed. I asked you if this was going to be very dangerous, if it would be life threatening, and you replied back saying 'it's not very dangerous', and after I told you how it would cause my brother so much grief if I died...I don't care about your stupid recording, go ahead and play it then, you'll be doing me a favor by it, which you owe me, sincerely I doubt that matters at all to you though.

And to be honest with you what you said just makes this worse, I bet you were watching me suffer in that room! And how do I know you would have stopped it? You have no proof of that! What you did right up to before I found myself in that room implied you already had clearly betrayed me from there, you lied to my face, and you drugged me for no good reason! I didn't agree to any needles or syringes, or a visit to death's door, Miss Nova Carmine...

How you speak of this magic, as if it is a destructive force, I want nothing to do with it, I never did. What I seek has never been nor never will be more than just some protective spells, and curative, you're the one who is stuck on Destruction, and you are blinded by your own illusions.

Don't even think about trying to stick me with another one of your needles, there are two of us here now...you are just sick, you really are. You would pretend like I went into this knowing it all, when everything you told me was just a bunch of lies, and you pretended at least might have cared a little bit about me, but...all along...you were just playing me!

Sophia had no lack of words for Nova, she would completely speak her mind, she was doing well to hold herself back from swiping at her, and not cursing at all despite never having been more angry and upset in her life, it would seem nothing could push her to the point of cuss words, even if her life was on the line.

"We're done, Carmine, you can't be my 'teacher', either Krego here can teach me what I need to know, or I just have to go without, because all you were trying to teach me was to play dead, permanently! I am not your pet, I am not some tool for your own sick amusement! Don't even answer, I do not wish to see you again, or even hear from you...I don't want to hear about you anymore, just stay away from me with your filthy hands, and mind.

Come on Krego, I will not see her face for another moment, we're going." she said, as she started walking away from Miss Nova.

Crimson Wolf​

After having a few repetitive battles against the same enemy, trying to have it go smoother and quicker each time, finally hopefully having a quick fight against one that would be worthy of a 5 star rating for performance, he fought until he had a satisfactory battle.

Once he was done his session of training to keep sharp, he decided to head to the Cafeteria, the fights had caused him to work up an appetite, so he went to have a bite to eat.

'I wonder how Sophia is doing...' Crimson Wolf thought to himself while he was on the way to the Cafeteria. He hadn't seen her for a while, so naturally he started thinking more about it the more time went on, he had hoped the people at the school have been treating her well.

Surely, he got a few funny looks when he arrived there, and eating there might be a little awkward, probably with one person or another watching him as he ate, but he just tried to eat in as civilized a manner as he could, having paws not being able to grip any of the eating utensils to eat with.

Ravona had delivered the paper she’d written to Miss Carmine’s desk, however Nova herself apparently wasn’t there. Oh well. Ravona thought to herself. Even though she would have liked Nova’s opinion straight away but it seemed like she was out of luck. Instead Ravona decided to check out what other classes were given around this time, she really was getting the hang out of this creating your own schedule thing.
Ravona looked at the classes of this afternoon and saw Advanced Magic by a Oracio Krego, Ravona signed herself up for his afternoon classes and looked at the time. She still had some time left before she would have to show up for his class. Ravona sat down on her bed with her legs folded and cleared her mind. She then accessed her magical energy and started weaving a spell around herself creating a magical armor, at the same time she hid the spell by inversing the energies, making it impossible for other to see her magic even if they would normally be able to do so.

Ravona figured that it would be better to not let anyone know her magic, though there were no other planewalkers in this building that could copy her spells she didn’t want people to know she was either. Ravona walked to each corner of her room and created a magical pillar, though it was invisible to anyone but Ravona. When complete Ravona disjuntioned her entire room from the normal time line through a ‘Castle of the Ageless’ spell. Though this would also reduce her time she could train her magic it did prevent anyone who wasn’t her other or was an expert on time magic. Ravona had already noticed that there were no teachers who taught classes on time magic so while some might know it they wouldn’t be able to breach this space.

Ravona began with setting up a little training scenario in the room, it was a good thing she didn’t have a roommate, Ravona teleported herself rapidly around the room. Constantly going back and forth, trying to not spend more than a second in each location. It was a good way to get more familiar with the spell, repeatedly casting it under these circumstances would help her cast the teleportation spells successfully in more dire situations. When Ravona was running low on energy she stopped and dropped the temporal distortion. She set the clocks right again with normal time and headed towards the main building. It was definitely less busy then in the morning. Most students seemed to be in their classes or on mission right now.
Ravona found the class room where the advanced magic should be taught and went in, Ravona was early so she wasn’t surprised that there was no one else for now. Ravona took a seat near the back and waited for the teacher and perhaps a couple of students to show up.

It was as expected. He was a teacher for a reason. Something as basic as brute strength was not going to pierce what seems like silver armour. It irked Delijah at her inability to do anything, but that was just pride.

"I don't want any of the basics, strike me like you want to hurt me. I won't be hurt, trust me. If you do hurt me, you belong in a more advanced class."

Doing "it" in a enclosed classroom wasn't ideal. In fact, this was rather dangerous, but Delijah had to do something a bit more devastating. Her normal spear strikes are all techniques and such. Since raw power was ineffective, then she had to use her second power. Backstepping a bit, Delijah concentrated once more. The most minimal and basic strikes works best for now in such circumstances. Almost simultaneously, Delijah launched herself into the air, but a split second before, launched two charges through the floor via her legs. In an over arching swing, the pole connected squarely on Arukab's head, as if a Bo staff, while her left feet swung in a aerial side kick towards his temple. The moment the kick and the swing connected, both glowed slightly and both charges that had surged through the ground reached his legs. All four points burst at once in a fiery explosion, engulfing the teacher in a ball of fire. Delijah backflipped from the flames, her skin had gone metallic silver before subsiding to normal. Arukab was lost in the midst of the brief fire before the explosion ended. Smoke wafted around, obscuring their teacher.
