Countries you'd like to Visit?

Australia/New Zealand. Something has always struck me about the two, New Zealand is definitely a place for the scenery, my dad's friend lived there for a bit and said it's absolutely amazing. He lived in Australia too for AGES and said it was one of the best times of his life, though I think it appeals to me more because it's pretty much the complete opposite of the UK for what I'm looking for. Definitely looking to go there for a month or two after uni anyway.

Canada. Not really sure why, it looks like a pretty nice place to go. The thought of being stuck in a cabin-like-hotel round a fire in a blizzard sounds pretty soothing.

Japan. Out of sheer interest but I think I'd hate being there for long.

I really can't think of anywhere I wouldn't want to go...besides South America, most likely. South America is just a little on the "wild" side for me personally. There's HUGE bugs I bet, I don't take well to water that isn't that clean (physically speaking), and I'd be scared of getting kidnapped or whatever in some areas. Same for Mexico, minus the bugs.

The first place I really want to visit when I run across some money and start working is Europe. I want to do the whole elaborate European vacation thing and start in the UK (I'd most likely also visit with my friend in Harwich) and visit Ireland and later London...then make my way down and visit Italy (the Sistine Chapel), Switzerland, France (Paris <3), Germany, Greece (Has got to be SO beautiful), Austria (<3 Vienna) and wherever else sparks my interest. Europe has got to be so lovely, I can't wait.

Japan I thought would always be cool to see. Its a totally different culture from my own and you see Tokyo on T.V and how can you not fall in love with the busy city life?

Dubai, because its the closest thing to a desert which would likely hold some interesting places to visit and see. I'd rather go there than Vegas anyday...although Vegas woudl admittedly be cheaper...

Australia would be fun....but again...the bugs (spiders, specifically). Still, I'm sure the beaches, scuba-diving, and the sun would be more than worth it. Also the Sydney Opera House looks really cool.

Hawaii is my personal honeymoon choice...someday. I'd spend 2 straight weeks sleeping on the beaches, messing about in the waterfalls, sightseeing, and eating island food. Everything seems so relaxed there...seems like it would be the perfect place to be.

Australia is definitely one of the places I wanna go.

Still hope to get to China one day, would LOVE to see the Great Wall of China, wanna go to Africa, see Buckingham Palace, Hawaii, The Amazon River, and Italy. Man Italy would be killer. Just the to-do list is so great, which sucks is how much money it would take to go these places. Someday though, I'll be there.

EGYPT: I've always wanted to see the pyramids, and I've yet to travel to a desert. It's one of those things :P
Sorry dude, no desert.....AT ALL -_-

JAPAN Heard raping there is like saying hello and breathing air :hmmmm:

USA To finish studying

ITALY Is just amazing, I'd love to go to Venice and Rome after I played Assassin's Creed >.<

Canada. Not really sure why, it looks like a pretty nice place to go. The thought of being stuck in a cabin-like-hotel round a fire in a blizzard sounds pretty soothing.
I live in Canada, it's a nice place (;
Pack some long johns, the winter gets cold.

Australia- In my opinion Australia seems beautiful. Hot all the time, Great Barrier Reef, kangaroos, what else do you need? If I were ever to visit it would be during the winter (a get away to avoid the snow at home), which is the summer Down Under, right? Anyway, everything looks so lush down there; definitely have to bring a camera and go sight seeing.

France- I fluently speak French (Canadian-French, I wonder if the people from France would accept me?) France seems amazing, pastries and bread all the way. The Eiffel Tower in Paris is also a sight to see and I find the language in general sounds beautiful.

Japan- Japan is a must see, mainly because all of my favourite video games are made in Japan. Also manga! I love manga with a passion, ohh and the stores there. It'd be like heaven on Earth. I'd be sure to bring enough cash for shopping.x

Japan - The girls xD

MOD EDIT: Can you please put a little more effort into your post? This is a spam post in a post count section. Give us a little more than "the girls". Thank you.

I would probably go anywhere and everywhere if I had the chance. But I would have to say that Australia, South Africa and Italy are top of my list at present. I don't even particularly know why. The first two possibly because they're English-speaking, but completely different to England. The last because I would like to see all the historical sites within Italy, especially in terms of the Roman Empire. I've been to a lot of European countries, but oddly I've been to neither Spain nor Italy. The mind boggles, it really does. As I've said though, give me a ticket to anywhere and I'll go. Even if I'm likely to get shot and/or raped.

Love how so many people wanna go to Australia Lulz. (Is Australian.)

Japan - The fashion, The girls, The anime updates before the rest of the world, and most importantly, the scenery. The view of cherry blossoms while drinking sake.
And boning a nice woman in a public park /actuallyhappens

UK - Some of you guys are from the UK. i have always been interested in meeting up with the friends i have made online, and out of everyone online i've met, i have the most fun with you guys.

Germany - The Industrial music scene. Nuff said.

Nowhere really, I've never had much interest in travelling, it doesn't appeal to me at all. If I were to go anywhere, I'd want to go somewhere to experience something we don't have here, art and history. So I'd probably go to Italy there's a lot of art there and there's a lot of history. But I can't imagine that I'd ever actually want to go.

well I am from america and I have been too my top 3. I have been too mexico, canada, India and I work in China. (age 24)

Here are some I still want to visit.

Germany= To find my roots
Poland= I have many friends there
Singapor=I see pictures and hear of its beauty
Thailand= Same as singapor
Africa= DIS IS AFRICA!! who doesnt want to see it?

I'd like to visit Ireland and Italy. I'm Irish/Italian so I'd like to see where I started.

Italy/Greece - Anything on the Mediterranean coast although I'd probably be more excited getting up into Tuscany once in Italy.

DRC/Republic of Congo - It's a shame so much of the heart of Africa is war torn as there'd be so much to take in. I'd love to just get a chance to fish the Congo river and see some of the crazy-ass stretches where it resembles the inside of a washing machine.

Tanzania - Serengeti National Park - enough said.

Great thread!

I know OP said top "3" but I want to see a lot of countries before I well, die. I would actually like to travel the world and see every country, if I can manage the money and not die in between visits. Here is a list of most important places though:

New Zealand:

I have always wanted to go here. Its actually the only place (besides Russia) that I want to live in for the rest of my life. Its beautiful, but I hear from my friends living there that its a really nice place to life, has clean air, nice people, great good and lots of space in the mountains to have a farm at (Which I plan on having).

It also looks like a place straight out of a fantasy realm and has inspired me a lot. :D

Greece:

I love Greece, it looks so beautiful. But since I have read Greek Mythology, its been on the top list!
I would just like to visit it before I move onto Russia and whatnot. It has captivated me since I was 7-9. xD

China (Hothot and Harbin as well as Urumqi.) and & Mongolia:

I watched a show one-two years ago about the animals of China and the Nomads living with them. The beauty I saw was enough to convince me to form a party and explore. I have to see this place at least once in my life.

Russia:

My second favorite place. I have looked up images of it, have friends there and all I see (far north) is a vast forest waiting for me to explore and or see some of it. I also want to learn the language too, so once I learn it it only makes sense to visit Russia. xD

This is battling New Zealand as a place to live. :P

Peru & then Argentina:

For personal reasons I want to visit Argentina and Peru. There is something I have to see for myself. Its some sort of crazy theory I have, so I don't want to look even more the kook on this forum, so I will keep it at that.

I will add that I saw some beautiful sights to see! :33

Chile:

Just because, I suppose. It looks pretty interesting to see. Just something I would like to see after Argentina. xD

Madagascar:

Another place I would love to travel about at, watch animals and more. Its a place I always wanted to see since I was a kid. I remember watching some show about an animal who came from Madagascar. :hmm:

Svalbard:

Seems secluded and oddly scary. I want to see this as well. Plus the Svalbard Poppy is just pretty! And the water looks pretty clean and the mountains look amazing.

Well, I love traveling anywhere. It's always been something I dreamt of doing. But, I've always wanted to see South America. Specifically, Venezuela, Columbia, Brazil, and Peru. And specifically these places in those countries: Angel Falls in Venezuela. San Andres-Island in Columbia. São Paulo(the Cathedral) in Brazil. And Machu Picchu in Peru.

For European countries I'd love to visit France and Germany and definitely Italy and Costa Del Sol. For Asian territories, definitely India and possibly Japan. For Arabic countries, Egypt most definitely. I've always wanted to go to Egypt. And also Jordan so I could visit Petra. That place looks so beautiful. I have to see it at least once in my life.

I'd love to visit Australia one day as well. And yes, even England. I know people say it's crowded but just to visit it for a while would be awesome. Also, Somalia and Nigeria. I know, I know, but it's so pretty in some places. I'd love to visit Greece just to see the Mediterranean shores. :ryan:

1.) United Kingdom - I've always wanted to visit there. The place is so full of history. Lots of places to go to ranging from bustling cities like London and Manchester to quaint little towns in the countryside. Plus, there are a lot of friends from this site that I'd like to meet someday as well. :)

2.) Spain - practically a European California. In terms of adapting climate-wise, it should be butt-easy. :wacky:. I'd love to get to Barcelona and gaze in awe at the architecture. Or eat paella in Valencia. I'd love to go hiking the missionary trail to Santiago Compostela, which has been travelled for centuries or just bask around in Madrid's cosmopolitan atmosphere.

3.) China - after taking 2 years of Chinese, I think it's safe to say I'm hooked on visiting. There's so many historical sites to visit, so much nature to view, and so much modern day living to be spent in its myriad metropolises.

4.) South Korea - I know a few people from there and they've always given riveting accounts of how beautiful it is to live in the land of the morning calm. Seoul is very pretty. :)

5.) Japan - same as China. I'd love to go there to see and feel what it's like just to...be there.

The question is, what countries do I not want to visit? :rage:

Like most people who have replied here, Italy is at the top of my list. It's not just the sights, but there's so much culture and history: Rome, Venice, Sorrento, and so on.

But then, Italy would be tied with Japan. My father went to Japan and showed me pictures when I was younger and since then I've been dying to go myself. The temples, cherry blossoms, food - their culture is so different. From the way they dress, talk, sleep, eat... I don't think I'll sleep at all once I get there. :wacky:

And the list goes on:
The U.K.
Spain
Australia
Hawaii (U.S.)
China
Korea
Brazil
Amsterdam
Greece
Egypt
I swear, if I ever won the lottery, I'm packing up and I'm trooping everywhere. :rage:

I have a lot of countries that I would love to visit. Not just old beautiful Italy again although I would love to go back there sometime. I would really love to visit The United Kingdom. I was always interested in going to London and other cities there. The place sounds cool. Not just England. I would love to go to Scotland, Ireland etc. Also as Jay said above, there are some friends there from here that would be nice to visit. :adri:

I really would love to visit Japan. I always loved Japan... the culture, cities and everything over there just seems so cool. Tokyo at night might be really crazy xD. I always wanted to go. Not just for the anime, not just for the girls, not just for the games.. although it would be really nice to tour some anime stuff and some familiar video game places.. like Square Enix etc. The Sakura flowers are just to die for really.. I always see those and they are just beautiful :ryan:. I am pretty sure I am not the only one who loves Japan here xD.

Spain is somewhere I would love to go as well. It looks so beautiful but it could be possible for a tomato fight to happen when I get there. Tomato fights are common in Spain after all... As long as it is not me.. then I am okay xD.

I already went to New York and other places in the United States. California.. I went once to visit my cousin and It was alright.

Other places that come to mind are China, Russia, Netherlands, Korea, Australia etc.

Also just a note.. but if you do not have Italy on your list.. you disappoint me :mokken: Italy has to be visited at least once. Back when I was there it was just so breathtakingly beautiful. Venice, Rome, Vatican, Milano, Florence etc. I will go back someday as I hail from there.

Japan- if I get my dream job, I'd have to visit Japan alot. I'm mostly interested in all the square stuff that's out there. It's probably mad cool. Maybe I'll be able to find that Vivi plushie I've been looking for.

Brazil- I'm willing to forgive them for the whole Jericho incident. If he still likes Brazil, then it's all chill. It looks beautiful in Brazil, I also want Brazilian coffee.

UK/Europe/ which ever is a country- yeah I've heard it rains alot, and I don't give a dang! I just want to see all the popular places. Also, why not stop by Lord Regals house? He might not be home often, but I'll make sure he is before I venture off.

I have aaalways dreamed of going to Japan. Specifically Tokyo, but anywhere there would be amazing.

My dad was born in Switzerland so I also would love to go there. I love the architecture styles and all their chocolate :ohoho:
