Voted for #1, but will be happy with any of them. Good work, people.

because this is going to be on the top of the page for a while haha

I ended up going with 2 because I like the colours and teh text a lot, though it kinda bothers me that Yuna is behind the text while the other characters are off to the side :damon:

Nice work everyone though, they're all awesome
 
I'm also going to vote for number 2. It has a nice flow to it and I really like the lighting and effects that were used.

Nice job to everyone else too. :monster:
 
#5, and #6 are gorgeous.

I'm not a big fan of #2 at all, due to the colours seem all over the place. :ness: It's rather clashy looking...

My vote goes to #6.
 
In the end,

I went with No. 5.

6 was close, but No. 5 was better IMO, because of the brightness of the colors. And how it would contrast with the dark background of the themes.

I don't know Kira, #2 really looks like a collage of different effects. That "clashy" look is just another hidden delight.

And for that reason, I am voting for it. I just love the clashing look it has, and it actually looks better than the others. :ryan:
 
I really dn... i think alot of them are too dark around the edges... but i'm stuck between 2 and 6.............. OMG it sooo hard but due to the fact i went wow to it more... i'm going for 6 :D it very nice loving the blending and that
 
These are some great entries!

Im in between #5 and #6. I thought both really have a well made montage of characters. Well done with the blending and choice of characters!

I guess I will vote for #6 since it's bigger, and the text appeals to me more.
 
I like the rotation of bannners idea. :hmmm: Especially since all of them are so good. Except the one with Cloud on it... I hate that picture of cloud :sad3: but the effects are wondrous nonetheless.

All of them are good graphically, it's just some of them have ugly chosen images of characters or characters that make me wanna toss up my stomach. :grin: Soooo in the end my vote goes to five. I love the colors and renders used. The text is amazing, btw. :inlove:
 
Banner rotation would be nice. Or as Conor suggested, we might do winning banner on the default skin, and the few runner-ups on the other skins.


Anyway, all great entries, thanks to those who entered! I really like #1 though - I'm a sucker for that type of design. I'm actually very picky when it comes to cursive font, but that font actually works well. I would've preferred the font to be just a tad bit bigger though (maybe one or two size up) since it's kinda small. :hmmm:
 
2!!! AMG IT'S BEAUTIFUL :cali: I love the different colors. And it's just really beautiful to look at :cali:

I also likes numero 3 and 6. If 2 was not up there it would be tough picking inbetween those two.
 
between 2 and 5 but im gonna go for 2. it's got a nice variety of colour and i like the design
 
2,3 or 4!

2 feels like serenity. Really refreshing.
3 has tht sophisticated look real crisp.
4 has great clear high quality portraits close up.

I look at the overall look and the message its telling me.
I dont look at it from a gfx maker point of view like some do.

Like all the banners below are extremely dark and bland and makes ne wonder why just two characters to name one thing I dont like about them.
