Bah it's between 3 and 4 for me, number 1 is lulzy, number 2 is good but the face is abit off

I like number 3, all the characters and the contrasting colours, the detail is spot on, but the faces all kinda...look the same, other than that though it's fantastic

Number 4 is really sweet, cute image, pretty background, love the flowers, the characters the pose

amg, this is REALLY hard to choose between these 2, I think 4 pips it just coz the faces look the same in number 3 D:

It's a shitty reason, and it's really good, but number 4 I don't really have anything I can fault, I love the cute factor, but how it's still really detailed, and its my favourite pairing <3

Number one is possibly the greatest piece of artwork I have ever seen. It reminds me of a fabulous SOTW entry that I did, but then there was the massive conspiracy and I lost.
Anyway I think it has great shading and it's so life like, I was a bit scared at first that the chick with the sword would attack me, that's how real it looks. However this entry, by Argor amirite? manages to blend realism and surrealism by making the characters so life like, but also not drawing noses. It's as if Magritte came back to lige and drew that.
So I vote for number 1 because of its genre defying greatness.

I'm going to vote for Four as well.

It's got nothing I can really comment on, from a negative standpoint.

Two and Three are both good, but the noses...I can't get over those. They're both "off" in their own respective ways, but overall the pieces are still very good efforts, both artists should not be discouraged by this.

So yeah, Four. -_-

#1: oh lawds, cross-dressing Cloud and Sephiroth ice-skating? It's just a pity their outfits aren't sparkly too, that would have made things even better :wacky:

#2: um...

#3: I was going to vote for this, until I noticed something: all the faces are the exact same. Seriously, just look...it's the exact same face on every person, with the exact same expression (not to mention the females don't look female at all). The red and blue thing sorta feels like a cop-out to me too, so they wouldn't have to color every character.

#4: is pretty cute.

#4

Was torn between 3 and 4, with 3's detailed armor and medieval versus feel and 4's fan service, coloring and shading (on Squall's face), but then I noticed the faces were similar in 3. While it may be awesome to have good armor/equipment design, the ones wearing it should also have variety, especially to make their armor pop out more.

I voted for 1. None of the others invoked any sort of emotion from me they just looked like any other Fan Art. XD #3 reminds me of an old zelda guidebook I had lol

My vote goes to number 1. The concept of it is really innovative and brings a new light to the underrated program ms paint. The idea of love that it represents is truly breath taking.

Unless people can actually start voting properly on this, we're going to get rid of AOTM permanently. I'm not really in the mood to see such bullshit as I have seen tonight. That being said, I was torn between entries 3 and 4, but in the end the tenderness of entry 4 won me over.

I voted for number 4.

Number one isn't very good in my eyes. I'm surprised the majority voted for it.

Number two is good, but the face put me off. I would have voted for it otherwise. =)

Number three is also very nice but the noses on the characters seemed a little odd.

Number four is cute and sweet. It has a lovely background and the detail on the characters is very well done! Lovely colours and lighting as well.

Well done to all. =)

Well I'm only going to comment about one of them in specific. Although number 3 was in a very close running to me, number 4 definitely took the cake in my opinion.

Number 4 had all the detail in my humble opinion. You people did a great job overall though. Number 1 was a pun I know, but at least it was entertaining. Number 3, like I said was pretty decent. Number 4 though look like it took the longest and had the most precise definition in it.

-is sad Violet seemed to die -_--

1 ~ olol, that's CLOUD?

2 ~ Aerith looks.. manly. I don't like it :/ good painting, though.

3 ~ it almost looks official! gah, i love this, I feel like the most planning was done with this one.

4 ~ cute, except the guy's eyes look off. -_-

I vote for 3, even though the faces annoy me.

(When you say "medium: Digital" it means it was colored using a program, right? Is that what it is? :gasp: It took a while for me to decide because the entries are pretty good. I can't imagine myself making a piece from scratch then coloring it, srsly, so kudos to each maker. :gasp:)

I voted for number 3.

Well-drawn characters, great lighting, fantastic shade of red and blue. The thing that struck me most about it is the concept. Villains versus Heroes. I can see the effort put into the detailing (costumes, weapons, etc.). Great work!

1: Really amused me, particularly their expressions. xD I'm not going to vote for it though because I don't think it'd be fair on the artists who put more effort into theirs. :wacky: No offence to the artist, but I'm just going to assume it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. >_>

2: Really pretty at first glance, the hair in particular was what I liked about it. However, the detail on it is quite off, but there is certainly potential so I think the artist should keep trying to perfect it, and it would look really nice. =)

3: The detail on this one was really good, as well as the colours and shading, it looks like lots of care has gone into each character.

4: Really cute, I like the colours, but the characters bodies look kind of strange and out of proportion and their poses look like they'd be really unnatural and uncomfortable if they were real. >_> And I can't tell whether the girl is winking or if she got a petal in her eye.

So I'm going to go for #3. :monster:

NUmber 4 for me definately. Its drawn and coloured really well. The pic itself is quite cute also i gotta say, reminds me in the romance in FFVIII. 3 would have been my second choice, it was also really good, but 4 stood out for me as the best one of them all.
Good work everyone.

Like some people, I was torn between the third and fourth entries. The third one looked like a very good replica of an actual poster. However, the fourth one just got me in the end with the Squinoa cuteness and the details are very spot on, so that got my vote.

#4 for me, it has been colored well, also I like the drawing of Rinoa and Squall I'm not sure about the little heart on Rinoa's head though :gasp:

#2 is really good but tbh I think the face is a bit off, which didn't help it, otherwise my vote would have gone for it.

#1 is really good but it's only for the lulz xD

#3 The colors are great but the characters could have been done better.

In the end my votes went to #4, great job all except you #1.:wacky:

I almost went for #2, but I ended up going with #3. I like the effects in #3, even though I know absolutely nothing about Dissidia and what it should look like. I think #2 had some feeling to it though, it's like as if Aeris just had a premonition about her death.

My vote lays with 3. Whoever drew that put a lot of effort into it. The coloring, the lighting.. it's really good. Even though I haven't played Dissidia, I'm not exactly voting based on my own "interests", but on whose drawing shows the most skill.

2, 3, and 4 are definitely good, although as mentioned already, the face is a little off. But it's still a very artistic piece. 3 has good elements to it, but I'm gonna have to give it up for 4. I just love the neatness to it. It's a lovely work and the details are quite spot on. Great job to everyone!
