I will ! It's FF VII week now right ? I might enter the fan-fiction comp even though my fanfic skills suck xD

So I've been thinking about the various competitions we could have in FF of the Weeks. How about occasionally having:

Dubbing competitions! These could be particularly good in character weeks as we challenge members to portray the character in a selected scene.
A series of riddles which members have to answer.
Scavenger hunts, in which we describe something and ask members to send a picture of what they think it is.
Spot the difference? Could we utilise our Photoshop skills to transform pictures, changing colours, shapes, what people are holding...


I think we need to ensure members who are too busy to write are able to join and participate in other activities which require a little less time. Dubbing competitions would also be a bit of fun as we'd get to see guys portraying girls and girls portraying guys occasionally... if we so wished. I think we should encourage that.

Your welcome I could just see this forum's activity go down a bit and I was like the FF of the week is getting a lot of attention, we need to utilise that and make it more open and more competitive...hence why I told Lirael of my idea, I didn't think anyone would agree with it though that is the things, I also personally think the forum needs a bit of simplification with the amount of sections you can browse...

Thanks Cid for accepting my idea and expanding on it with the clan concept for FF of the week. I felt that that feature needed to be expanded upon and I felt that would be a good way to entice people more

Hey just want to thank you and Lirael for the hard work and decition towards these awesome FF weeks.{ Wish FF9 had a writting comp but that's just me. ;p} Cheers. It's making the forum tons of fun.

We can run those as usual on the same dates! I think the idea is more to incorporate the Writing Competition in Birthweek, which should be great.

Hey Cid, Suki was wondering whether we could extend the FVII Writing Competition in order to sync it with the competitions in Birthweek. We'd begin voting on the 6th June.

Hey Cid may I ask what this site is big on asides Final fantasy lol, the gfx section seems to be alive tho I checked out the Xbox forum and it's pretty dead so just wondering if you can tell me the major areas of the site, and thanks.
