Okay so half-way through it I decided to play along. :) I was bored. But seriously, this person sent me a 'nudge' so it must be a real person and not a bot, yes? Then again, her/his conversation wasn't proper either so who the hell knows.

I get these crap adds all the time and dont know where the hell they all come from apart from no matter what the name is the person is supposedly called "Paris" all the time.....

Paris Hilton trying to earn some extra cash? Daddys trust fund not enough?

Well I just block and delete the little buggas.

And that convo made for some interesting reading as i was bored out of my mind until just now :P
 
This is most DEFINITELY a bot. Seriously. Everything you can do on MSN, bots can do and more. It's really not that difficult for skilled coders, and the primitive chatting AI just give it away.

Try to avoid responding to any spammish-looking IMer that you don't know of.
 
I get the same thing, but its not on the messanger, I actually get emails from these people. They must have a randome draw thing. Its more annoying than my sister (HA!) but I get all sorts of links. I decided to troll those places, there are actually three I get. and they make it so obvious that they are bots, they dont follow cues, they also dont comprehend properly. The bots do nudge...and trolling the sites is fun :ryan:

One of these days, a smoking hot chick will actually want to show me her jumblies on webcam. And I'll be so cynical because of these damned bots that I'll block her, without ever seeing her sweet, sweet cans.

I've been getting random adds on both my hotmail accounts this last week.

The first one I added and then it started to automatically send me offline messages about signing up to this porn site.

So I deleted it.

Since then I've had three other emails try to add me. I just don't add them.

If it's someone from here trying to add me or someone I know from work, tough luck. They should ask first anyway.

I don't want viruses screwing up my computer again from these stupid accounts.

Yeah, I frequently get some message saying somebody I have no idea who the heck they are added me, I just never add them unless it looks like it could be an email address for someone I know from here on FFF or something...

And if I accept to add whoever I think may be someone I know, then it turns out otherwise, I just just delete and block 'em. xP

And this is why 9/10 times I run in stealth mode (offline mode) the bots wont spam/track ya if you appear offline but it also makes people think im not online.

If im forum crawling theres a good chance im online, and that was well funny mits especially the get some social security number line XD
 
E-mails like that are usually always bots. I've been getting loads of invites with strange e-mails that I don't recognize so I just deny and block the e-mail. It's quite annoying actually.
 
That would be real annoying .. especially here at work when I'm working. I guess there are no real ways of stopping this from happening.

That's happened to me several times. Think it's just a bunch of automated shit though... Like any message you send they automatically send one back that is like sometimes paragraphs long. Just advertising. >_<
 
Another thing I noticed was this 'bot' pointing out wanting her CC and SS #s. That's also a good way for people to steal your information and then you become a victim of identity theft, and believe me folks...that is NOT fun. x_x
 
Ha ha. :D

I get added like that all the time. They add me and say hi, and then I get all excited thinking that I have a new friend. When it turns out they are only a robot I am very heartbroken, but continue to talk to them anyway.

In fact I never block them. I have a friends folder called "Robots" where I keep them, and they chat to me occassionally. It's always on the same subject "hai, do you want to see me cam naked?", but it's conversation(ish) nonetheless. :hmmm:

Ah yeah, Paris was my first. She added me a few months ago, but I think she changes her name from conversation to conversation. I think she is sometimes Paris, and sometimes Kanesha. Not sure though. I asked her once which was her real name and she wouldn't tell me. :sad2:
