What console do you want the FF7 remake (if SE Makes one) to be on?
I would Personally love for it to be on Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP but thats just me. What do you guys think?
 
I'd rather Square didn't remake it seeing as I don't trust them especially after the four years in the making flop that was FFXIII. But should it happen, it would probably be on PS3 or perhaps on a next generation console due to the amount of time it would take to develop. Not that I believe the industry can support another console cycle.
 
I think it should be on the PS2. Maybe that would allow it to be made faster and we all want it to come fast or not at all. The PS2 is a good enough console for it in my opinion, and that might cut the production tmie in half :hmmm:
 
I want it to be on the Wii. With full motion controls, weekly additional DLC that unlocks extra story content, visuals that stay true to the original and, most important of all, the English voice acting team from FFXIII to come in and provide additional voice acting.
 
I would say a remake on the PSP or even the 3DS would be more than adequate. I thought about what FFVII would look like if it was remade for the PS3 or 360 and thought it would look ridiculous. The world of VII is so underpopulated with only what? two major cities in the entire game? They would definitely get rid of the world map system if they want it to look plausible. I figured the approach they took to remake IV suits VII just as well but only with the graphics of the PSP or even the 3DS. The Wii wouldn't be bad either, so long as they include the option to use the classic controller.
 
I think it should be multiplatform. If it is made for home consoles, 360, PS3 and Windows. If in portables, the Nintendo and Sony ones.
 
Multiplatform. A remake of FF7 would be a big seller so why not. I could possibly see it for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 if it was for this gen. And I would hope they would keep the battle system the same and the world map. It wouldn't feel right not being able to fly an airship in FF7.

I do like the idea of FF7 being remade for a portable. maybet he PSP and 3DS. (though I can't see it being put on a Nintendo console.)
 
I personally don't want the remake but,

Multi for sure.


I'd rather it be on the PS3 but, i'm sure SE will be smart and do it multi just for the big bucks (thats assuming they do it)


Portable wouldn't be a bad idea either :hmmm:

The more consoles the more money.
 
I don't really want a remake, but if Square really did make one I think it would be pretty cool to have it on the PSP.

FINAL FANTASY VII ON THE GO, HELL YEAH. :awesome:
 
I want the Final Fantasy VII remake to be in the PS3 console, but we know that they are going to sell this awesome game for multiplatform for their convinience to make more money than just selling it for one console. But since they are now busy working on different projects, then I should say that it will be better if they make the remake for the next consoles. That is only if they take too long working on their upcoming projects.
 
What ever happened to transferring your data from your console to the PSP?

They could that with FFVII......They would not even attempt a single Platform release
with supposed Re-Make of FFVII and if they omitted the PS3 there would be riots and manhunts.

PS3 for the main remake and the others to follow later on...........much later.

Well since square has recently announced that its 100% happening for ps3 at very least we know that will happen without delay. I wonder if since 13 sold so many xbox copies if Square would multi-platform the 7 remake on it as well. The problem with these guys is there gonna try to make it a graphical masterpiece when really all seven needs is some updated ps-2 like graphics rather than such a flux of hd 3d that's gonna make everything we know about FF7 fall through the cracks to accommodate graphics no one would REALLY need to enjoy it.
 
They should definitely go the XIII route and do it for the 360 as well. Maybe it'll cause xbox fanatics to love FF, who knows. Plus, most people either have a ps3 or a 360 not both, so it makes sense. Everyone knows ps3 is the greatest though...
 
Well S-E keeps teasing us, first they confirmed a rumor like 7 years ago about a PS2 remake, it never happened. And then they take it to the next level by making a tech demo for the PS3. Again, no game. So I'm guessing either they'll keep teasing us or possibly make it for the PS4.

BUT, Sony just came out with it's 3D TV and the new PS3 3-D Support, so they might make it for the PS3 in 3-D!!!!!!!!! That would be a kick-ass game! It's a possibility that the game will be remade for the 3-D support because Sony is making a port for the Sly Cooper series (YAY!) for 3-D. Maybe S-E will do the same for FF VII. Who knows? Maybe they've been secretly working on it for the last decade or so. We'll just have to wait and see.

Kind of got off topic there... but if it's coming out for a console, I'm gunna have to say PS3/4.

If they were smart, they'd do it multiplatform. Quite frankly maybe something that looks like this for the PS3.

If they were remaking it for the last decade.... Well it could mean to be a suprise realease on multiplatform.
And FFVII on xbox 360 and psp HELL TO THE YEAH DAMMIT!
