What cheered you up today?

One of my brothers stepped up and made dinner tonight. That was so nice of him and I didn't even hafta ask. Shucks.
 
My little brother has been texting me the funniest shit all night. I can't get over how awesome he is. He's 12 and sounds like a witty adult lol the fucker
 
I've had a crap week and it's only Tuesday but today I booked my flights to Scotland.
I can't fucking wait to go! It's made me feel really cheerful today which is what I really needed

Also my pokemon game arrived today so I don't have to wait til the 11th :ohoho:

I decided to do a bit of shopping today to make myself feel better, I was only planning on picking up one item of clothing because I couldn't afford anymore but there was a really nice skirt and a pair of shorts I could not pick between so I sadly went up to the counter with both, knowing I would have no money to survive the rest of the week but the most amazing thing happened...they were having a sale and the clothes were over $30 less than I thought :jay: This pleased me a lot! Because now I can have nice things and not starve to death this week

Seeing my boyfriend today.

I miss him so much. We went to eat at this small town resturaunt, bought some apples for the week, then napped in the car on the side of the road, out in the country. It's really nice.
 
There was so much fruit left this morning!!! People usually savage out on that shit, so I actually expected to not see even a piece of an apple since I was late to breakfast, but there was an entire fucking bowl!!! YES
 
I bought my first guitar today! It's a little beauty! I'm really pleased with it and can't wait to go home, it's cute and the right size for me. Now I just need to learn to play it properly hahaha it'll be good motivation though to keep learning :D
 
The Sky The Art of Final Fantasy was dispatched from amazon!! :yay: My heart skipped a beat. I feared it would get cancelled again!

I pre-ordered it so it wasn't too expensive. :) Managed to get it for just under half the RRP in the UK! :gasp:
 
Honestly, being able to just lie in my bed. I'm able to appreciate it a lot more now, and it's just so wonderful. I'm able to appreciate a lot of things I really didn't think much of before my work trip. It's a great thing.
 
Waking up to the sound of electricity surging back into my house. x3 I haven't had power since Monday, so thankfully, this has been the longest I went without any electricity! (I had hot water && all that jazz though, so no, I wasn't a smelly hobo all week! xD)

It kinda sucked sometimes 'cause a few blocks from my house, people had power, && my next-door neighbors were using generators all week, lol. But it's all cool now, hehe.

I got to watch Arrow on tv last night! Usually mum interrupts me. Of course there was a curious brother hanging around asking questions, but still, yay!
 
Seeing my dog first thing this morning. She loves it so much when I call her "puppy". She starts wagging her tail and rolling around like she is one. She's so youthful for a dog her age, it's wonderful. I was tired as hell, but I took the time to give her a very long and nice body rub. She's an angel. I love her :)
 
I had a pretty good lesson today! ^_^ Two in a row, actually, but the second was officially observed and graded. My mentor was quite impressed and I am making progress on my voice projection! :yay:

I absolutely love teaching! ^_^ Best career ever! =D
 
Finding out that someone else cleaned the living room. Usually it goes misused for so long that there's no room to walk anymore and then I have to add it to my regular chores, but - surprise - today it was sparkly. This almost makes up for that cup noodle incident :cry:
