So I was looking at other forums and I was just thinking, maybe we should have a area to put Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts/Dissidia Walkthrough? I mean I guess we would need members to write walkthroughs and not steal them from Gamefaqs or any other website, but if we have dedicated members to the walkthroughs I think this could work. Just a thought what does everyone else think?

I think the idea of members writing up walk throughs is a good idea (not that I'd do it), but I don't think it would require a separate section. I mean realistically, writing a walk through can take a lot of effort so I can't see too many people actually doing it.
Maybe a sticky thread could be created in the 'FFhelp' sections that could be used as a place to either A: post walkthroughs or B: a place to index them...

I wouldn't mind helping out with walkthroughs and such. It'd be fun. But really, if someone wants help, they can post in the Help Booth, which kinda helps with more specific problems without someone having to trudge through a fuckton of data with the Control+F function.

No one is discouraging you from composing your own, but there are a lot of walkthroughs that are readily available at sites like GameFaqs.com.

I can't see us having a separate walkthrough section because it probably wouldn't get that much action. If someone wants to put up a walkthrough, we have no issues with that but we can just sticky it in the appropriate game's help section.
I agree with Tia. I'd say a separate walkthrough section would be a bit pointless, not to mention, it would clutter up the FF Section. However, if someone wishes to create a walkthrough thread, and they do it quite well, it can be stickied in the appropriate help booth section.

It does take a lot of time simply because you need to write it as you're going through the game. Walkthroughs include almost every part of the game to 100% it.
Then of course as mentioned you can't just simply plagiarize and copy and paste from another source and steal their work. It's very time consuming to get it right.

I was personally going to write an FF7 and FF8 walkthrough a few years ago when I first joined, but like I said... There are handfuls of walkthroughs for games readily available on other sites (some of them are ready before English versions are even released, like Crisis Core) and I didn't think anyone was really interested.
