Only thing I have to laugh at is the fact that XBOX 360 winner wasn't an exclusive... think they would try to get Xbox 360 exclusive games for a winner...

Wheatley could have been so annoying but Stephen Merchant did a super job. 
A game does not have to show up in any other category to be eligible for game of the year. It's an entirely different category on its own. Not to mention this is only the VGAs and only counts as one GOTY award.
